The Marble Vibe 5″ Antique Gray is a small, discreet plastic vibrator that has a marble-like appearance. It runs on two AAA batteries and is manufactured by Topco Sales. It comes in multiple color choices, and it operates with a turn dial on the base. It’s about five inches tall, and it has a diameter of about 3/4 inch, but it’s mostly intended for external stimulation.
The packaging is really cute. It comes in a small, basic plastic box that says the name of the packaging on it. It’s clear, so you can see the toy through the box. The backside of the packaging talks about the features as well as cleaning instructions and how to care for it. Overall, it’s a really cute package that stores the toy well. It isn’t, however, recyclable in the slightest.
I like this little, discreet vibrator just because of the appearance of it. The marbled appearance, while not “realistic” once you have your hands on it because it has no texture, still looks downright neat, and it looks almost like your vibrator is made from stone. How neat is that? It isn’t, surprisingly, as large as I thought it would be though. I had been expecting an average-sized traditional vibrator. This one is not. It’s only about five inches tall. Most traditional vibrators are six or seven inches, so this little guy, while not bullet sized, is also not full-sized.
The vibrator is powered by two AAA batteries. There’s a little piece of paper that hangs out in the battery compartment that you’ll have to remove before you can put the batteries in. There’s a little etching on the side of the compartment that makes it easy to figure out how to put in the batteries. The battery compartment unscrews really easily, and the batteries slide in without any problems. It can awkwardly vibrate while you’re screwing the cap on, but that’s normal.
The vibrator is controlled by the twist function on the end of the battery compartment cap. It can be a little bit hard to twist – especially during use and with your hands lubricated, but it’s not horribly hard. It’s a gradual adjustment of the vibration with no set speeds. The vibration on this vibrator isn’t too rumbly, but it isn’t buzzy either. It’s in the middle of the two vibration types. The plastic transfers the vibrations well, and they don’t die when pressure is applied by the toy either. They aren’t deep into the skin vibrations, but they aren’t surface ones either. They’re just kinda there.
That’s exactly how strong the vibrations are too: moderate. For a smaller, discreet vibe, it’s on the strong side of vibrations, but in comparison to most vibrators, it just has average strength. The vibrations transfer throughout the entire shaft, there’s really no ‘strong” point. If you require really strong vibrations to get off, this one probably won’t work for you, but it will get you close. The vibrations definitely can be heard in the same room, and they could possibly be heard through a closed door if the peeker was nosy.
For sex toy cleaning, use warm water and antibacterial soap. As this vibrator is non-porous (and will easily slip into a condom), it can be used with multiple partners. It is NOT waterproof, so be careful to avoid getting water in the compartment. It’s compatible with all types of lubricant, and you don’t need to use lubricant for external use unless you want to as the vibrator is pretty slick already. For storage, it can just be tossed anywhere without any problems as it doesn’t pick up lint, and it’s pretty sturdy.
Overall, the Marble Vibe 5″ Antique Gray vibrator is just an average, but slightly smaller, traditional vibrator that will deliver moderate vibrations but is still a rockin’ sex toy. If moderate vibrations are okay with you, I really can’t think of any reason not to purchase this toy. It vibrates, it functions well, and it looks neat; that’s a winner in my book! Thanks to Topco Sales for providing this vibrator for my Marble 5″ Vibe review.
