Lovelife Dream Vibrator Review

The Lovelife Dream is a brand new silicone vibrator from the makers of OhMiBod. Part of the Lovelife series (which includes other vibrators and kegel exercisers), the Lovelife dream is made from body-safe silicone and PU-coated ABS plastic. The vibrator is 7.1″ in length with a diameter of 1.4″ at the widest point. It’s fully rechargeable, and it features a cute pink and white design (the only color scheme available). The vibrator comes with a 1-year warranty from OhMiBod from any defects in faulty workmanship.

The Lovelife Dream comes with a USB charging cable, the vibrator itself, and a white, satin, drawstring storage pouch. The packaging for all of this is pretty high-quality. All of them come in a heart-covered, sturdy box. This box can easily be used for storage if you’d prefer. This heart-covered box then comes in a slipcover cardboard box that displays information about the product. It all makes for a very pretty presentation if you end up giving this as a gift.

The Lovelife line is made by OhMiBod, and you’ll need some similarities in the design to some of their other toys. For one, it’s made with that super-awesome, silky smooth silicone that feels amazing. The silicone isn’t plushy at all – instead, it feels like the silicone is just covering up a firm material (like plastic). This isn’t a bad thing in my book – the firmer design means that the vibrations transfer more easily throughout the toy. However, depending on how plushy or squishy you enjoy your toys to be, the rigidity of this toy may be uncomfortable for vaginal use. It’s not an issue for me, but some people really prefer their vaginal toys to be very flexible.

The Lovelife Dream Vibrator itself

One of the neat things about the Lovelife Dream vibrator is that it’s fully rechargeable. You won’t need to mess with batteries to power this one. The toy comes with a cord that allows the vibe to charge via USB. The USB cord can be plugged into a wall outlet (like I do) or it can be plugged into a USB device to charge the vibe. While the vibe is charging, the LED-lit control button flashes with white. When it’s fully charged, it just stays illuminated. The full charge completed in under 2.5 hours, and it’s designed to last for at least 2 hours and provide about 90 days of standby time.

The vibrator was designed to be pretty simple to control. It just includes that single push-button at the base of the vibrator. Hold down the button to turn on the vibrator, and once it’s on, you can use the three separate “sides” of the heart button to control the vibrator. The point of the heart cycles through the different vibration patterns while the two different curves of the heart increase and decrease the vibration intensity. The heart will light up with a back-lit white light, so it makes it pretty easy to find the controls in the dark (if that’s going to be an issue).

The vibrations are actually pretty strong. They don’t have that buzzy, annoying feeling, and they “feel” about as strong as they sound. The vibrations don’t decrease in intensity when pressure is applied, so if you like to push up against your vibrator, the vibrations still stay strong and true with this vibrator. The vibrations are mostly centered in the tip of the toy, but they are strong throughout the toy – including at the base. For those that were looking to insert this, that makes it even better as you’ll get stimulation throughout the entire toy inside of just at the tip. The base also gets vibrated through diffusion, and after a long, long time it will start to numb your hand, but it’s not nearly as bad as some of the other vibrators out there. It’s completely within “reasonable” territory with the OhMiBod LoveLife Dream.

The vibrations aren’t as intense as some other toys, but they’re definitely on the medium to upper-end of strong. They won’t rival your Hitachi, but as far as rechargeable toys go, the vibrations are some of the stronger I’ve felt.

As for the vibrations themselves, they aren’t insanely loud, but they aren’t particularly quiet either. They can certainly be heard in the same room, but with a door shut and music on, it probably can’t be heard outside of a closed door – unless you’re on the highest setting and using it lightly externally. This setting seems to have the most amount of “buzz” to it.

The packaging for the Lovelife Dream Vibrator

I enjoy this vibrator mostly for clitoral stimulation. I’m not a huge fan of rigid toys for vaginal stimulation, so this one tends to get avoided for that. However, it does have a straight, streamlined design if you’re one that likes the rigidity. It also has an interesting shaft. It is small at the tip, gets larger, and gets largest near the base. The controls on the base are much larger than the preceding portion of the base, but I’m not sure I would label it anal safe.

As for clitoral vibrations, though, the vibrator does a great job. Since it doesn’t get weaker when pressure is applied, this makes it great for those that love to push up against the vibe. The vibrations are pretty strong throughout the shaft, so if you want to use just the tip, you can. If you want more stimulation area, you can lay the length of the toy up against you, and the vibrations are still strong enough to make a difference. The rigid design means that you always know where the vibrator is at, and it doesn’t “bend” under pressure; it ends up working out well for clitoral stimulation.

Contrary to many other luxury vibrators, this toy is not waterproof; it’s only splashproof. This means, while cleaning, you should take care to avoid getting any water into the sockets. Water inside the toy could destroy it, and nobody likes a destroyed vibrator. It can be cleaned with usual warm water and anti-bacterial soap, and if you can avoid getting water into areas, it can be sterilized with a water/bleach soaking. It’s best to use water-based lubricant with this vibe, and the silicone doesn’t pick up dust or hair very easily, so you can pretty much store it how you’d like. (However, the toy does come with a pretty white, satin bag, so you could store it in that.)

Overall, if you want a rigid vibrator that can go between vaginal stimulation and clitoral stimulation and has pretty intense vibrations, this vibrator will do a great job for you. It isn’t too quiet, so I wouldn’t recommend it for places where discretion is important, but it has a good shape, is easy to use, and has an adorable design. If you prefer a rigid, straight toy for your vaginal insertion or clitoral vibrations, this one could be perfect for you. Thanks to PinkCherry Sex Toys for providing this luxury vibrator for my Lovelife Dream vibrator review.
