How Does It Work?
Because of its long length, the Lockink Adjustable Golden Anal Hook comes in three different pieces. This is actually a god-send. Not only does that make it adjustable, but it also makes it much, much easier for discreet sex toy travel. Instead of needing luggage that’s 30″ in length to hold an anal hook, you only need a 20″ container for the longest piece.
When traveling with it, I still wrap each individual piece inside articles of clothing. I don’t want to accidentally scratch up the beautiful gold surface.
The Lockink Adjustable Golden Anal Hook comes in three pieces:
- The anal hook itself
- The long, straight extender bar
- The 360-degree two-square clip
You can “mix and match” these three items to make the anal hook you need for whatever BDSM scene you have in mind.
Leave the straight extender bar out of the equation, and attach the two square clip to the top of the anal hook itself. This makes a “standard-sized” anal hook that’s 12.4″ in length that’s ready for use.
Alternatively, attach the long extender bar to the top of the short anal hook. This dramatically lengthens the anal hook. The two-square clip then attaches to the top of the long, straight extender bar. This makes for the adjustable, extra-long anal hook with a bondage point right at the top of it. You can adjust this version from 24.2″ to 30″ in length – which is, effectively, my partner’s entire back.
How Does this Gold Anal Hook Adjust?
If you’re using all three pieces, the Lockink Adjustable Golden Anal Hook becomes adjustable in length.
If you look at the point where the straight gold bar meets the curved anal hook base, there’s a bunch of open holes. There’s a tension-release node on the curved anal hook base. Simply push in this tension-release node until it’s flush with the material around it, then slide the straight gold bar where you want it. Find the nearest hole on the straight gold bar, and allow the tension-release node to pop out of that hole. This, effectively, secures the curved anal hook base with the straight gold bar.
To adjust the length, press the tension-release node back into the bar again, move the straight bar where you want it, then allow the tension-release node to spring back into an open hole again.
You’ve probably used similar adjustment systems with some metal items you’ve used before, and it works flawlessly here.
The tension-release node presses down really comfortably (even when I had long acrylic nails!), and it springs up comfortably. The node protrudes enough that attempting to pull the anal hook apart doesn’t work with my hands. Good luck attempting to pull it apart while half of it is settled in your butt.
It’s a really quick system that’s easy to understand and adjusts in seconds. Absolutely zero complaints on my end. It’s pretty much the perfect adjustment system for an anal hook.
My only recommendation: try not to adjust it while your hands are lube-y. Cleaning the lube out of the holes and the tension-release nodule is annoying, and I’d recommend avoiding it if you can.

This anal hook is, by far, my favorite anal hook to look at for standing use. It’s long enough to extend all the way up my partner’s back on its longest length setting (a feat, as I’m a femdom, and he’s a 6ft tall submissive), and it just looks sexy as hell.
Don’t get me wrong; I like seeing rope wrap up a bottom’s back, connecting the top of an anal hook to the collar wrapped around their neck, but seeing a full metal rod run up the entire back feels much kinkier and invasive somehow.
So, from the top’s perspective, the LOCKINK Adjustable Golden Anal Hook wins out against all of our other anal hooks in a landslide. As I’ve mentioned before, as long as our luggage can handle it, we’ve stopped bringing our other anal hooks to hotel takeover events. We only bring this one.
This anal hook has been just as pleasurable from the bottom’s point-of-view. We were cautious during our Lockink Adjustable Golden Anal Hook review testing phase, but he’s fallen in love with it too.
A familiar feel, the “hooked” angle of the anal hook feels like the other anal hooks we own. There’s been no adjustment period to this anal hook. It slides in smoothly with no seams, and it snuggles into his butt. As with all anal hooks, it will eventually slide itself out if you never secure the other end of the anal hook to a bondage point, but you can quickly prevent that with a bit of bondage.
We really have enjoyed connecting this gold anal hook to collars or waist cuffs. Because of the anal hooks length options, you can do this with a double-sided clip (and we have, multiple times) or use the classic: rope bondage. I’ll be honest that I often default to the double-sided clip for speed during our BDSM scenes, but you can take your time and use rope to make it happen too.
The only downside from his perspective is the fact that the metal material (which can get cold) runs all the way up the back. If we’re in a chilly room (and the metal anal hook is chilly), a standard-sized anal hook only has a small length of material that actually touches skin. With the Lockink Adjustable Golden Anal Hook, we’ve taken to snuggling the full length of the hook against warm body heat before playing. That way, the top metal of the hook doesn’t press against the back of his neck for a shockingly cold surprise.

The design is beautifully upscale. I rarely see gold-colored anal hooks, and this one instantly stands out simply due to its color choice. Its long, full-back length and square attachment points only add to the look of luxury that this LOCKINK Adjustable Golden Anal Hook offers. In a dungeon full of hundreds of people, this is a toy that will catch people’s attention.
It isn’t just pretty, though. The design team clearly spent time on its functionality. The adjustability system works flawlessly, and it lets you enjoy the anal hook’s full-back length on a variety of heights. The square attachment points offer enough movability to make wearing this comfortable, and the curve of the anal hook works wonderfully for curving up along the back.
