The Key Comet G is a stunning silicone and glass dildo made by Jopen. Five inches long with a diameter of about an inch and a half at the widest point, this dildo is designed with a specific and pronounced g-spot curve. Made of silicone (the colored portion), glass (handle), anda stainless alloy (the emblem on the handle), this dildo is designed to look adorable and be completely body-safe. It’s available in a pink, blue, and purple color.
The packaging for the Key Comet G dildo is really pretty. It comes in a high-quality box that includes a cardboard slip-cover. Inside this slipcover, there’s a little foam cut-out where the Key Comet G dildo sits. This dildo can be easily removed from the box. The box does clearly states that it has a sex toy inside it, so it may be not be the best solution for discreet storage. Underneath the tray to store the dildo, there’s the instruction manuals as well as a satin-like storage bag to store the Key Comet G dildo in.
The design of the Key Comet G is a really cute and unique design. I can’t say that I’ve ever seen a dildo that uses both glass AND silicone in the same sex toy in this such way, and I’m really impressed. It has the slick, soft silicone that runs along the shaft, and there are slight textures that run along the length, but they aren’t too noticable during use. The handle is completely made of glass, and it has a slight “bulb” along the end of the handle where the Key logo is located as well.
So about use? I’m in LOVE! I normally have a difficult g-spot to reach, but the Key Comet G does it absolutely amazingly! AMAZING I SAY! Like, it takes all the words out of my mouth for what to say about it. I was afraid that the silicone would be too draggy and make me hate it, but the silicone material is slick, smooth, and glides against the skin which means I don’t have to use half a bottle of lubricant or reapply lubricant often.
And it HITS MY G-SPOT! That’s a problem with most toys. They never do. The Key Comet G DOES! It hits my g-spot in the same way that the Pure Wand and the Bent Graduate do. It has a similar sensation to the Pure Wand, but it feels more filling and more “comprehensive” than the Bent Graduate dildo due to its bulbous and larger head. Like those two toys, the Key Comet G seems to work best with a rocking motion, and the handle of the dildo actually lends itself amazingly well to that rocking motion as well.
Other reviews have mentioned that the size is a bit intimidating. I have to say that I haven’t noticed it to be an issue, and I prefer smaller toys. The size is about the size of the Pure Wand’s larger end, and at the widest point, it’s about the same size of a thickly endowed human penis. It’s not too “huge” at all, really. If the silicone had more “grip” to it, I might mind, but this silicone is pretty slick and glides against the skin nicely. It does require a bit of warm-up to use, but I wouldn’t call it “out of reach” for most people. Just make sure to understand that it’s something you’ll want to use when already pretty turned on (which is what you should do with most g-spot stimulation anyway!).
The handle is made of glass. I’m not sure I 100% agree with this choice of material, but it does make the dildo look so much more unique and pretty. However, as anyone who has messed with glass knows, glass tends to get slick when lubricant is included. As a handle is something you want to be pretty “grippy”, the slickness thing can be an issue. I can’t say I had a huge issue with it, though. The circular “Key” logo at the tip of the handle provides a good place for the side of your pointer finger to rest. If you really tend to get into it or are using the dildo at an odd angle, though, the glass can be a bit slick and hard to grip onto. That can get annoying, but it was only an issue I had a couple times. For the most part, the glass handle worked fine.
I think I actually prefer this one over the Pure Wand and the Bent Graduate – which are my other two favorite g-spot dildos. I like the design of this dildo, and the handle of the Key Comet G g-spot dildo actually seems to fit better in my hand than the other two choices. The Bent Graduate is still nice, but I like the larger surface of the Key Comet G more – and I like that the Key Comet G is lighter than the Pure Wand too, so I think I’d still choose it over my two other favorite g-spot toys. Which now makes this my go-to g-spot dildo!
To clean this g-spot dildo, you just have to use warm water and antibacterial soap. Be careful about the crevices along the area where the silicone meets the glass, and you’ll be fine. This beautiful pink g-spot dildo is only compatible with water-based lubricants, and for storage, you can easily store it in its provided pouch or wherever you’d like. It doesn’t seem to pick up a ton of hair or lint, but you shouldn’t just leave it lying around to find out how much it picks up, either.
Cleaning is probably my other complaint about the Key Comet G. Not enough to make me stop using it, but enough that I hope that Jopen makes a new upgrade to it. The seam where the silicone meets the glass does have an obvious and noticable divet in it. If you tend to insert your toys really far or do a great job smoothing lubricant on it, you’ll easily get lubricant or bodily fluids in this crack – with no problem. This requires using a slim edge of a paper towel or a washcloth (or a cotton-tipped swab) in order to clean this out properly. This is a pain in my ass. I’ll deal with it in order to have such a beautiful coupling of silicone and glass, but I’d love to see if a future design modification maybe couldn’t reduce or get rid of this noticable seam to make cleaning easier.
Overall, the Key Comet G is AMAZING. I have some cleaning concerns, but really, if you’re looking for a silicone version of some of the more well-known and best-functioning g-spot dildos out there, the Key Comet G is a great version of them. It has a stunning design, a perfect g-spot curve, adorable color choices, and silky, rigid silicone. I love it.
