House of Denial Clear Holy Trainer V2 Chastity Device Review

Clear in color and designed with biosourced resin material, the House of Denial Clear Holy Trainer V2 chastity device is an affordable chastity device designed for short and long-term caging of the penis. This particular cage includes an internal, interchangeable lock that sits within the cage for minimal bumps. The cage features three holes near the tip for urinary purposes, and it comes with four different ring sizes for a good fit for various wearers. The House of Denial Holy Trainer V2 cock cage is available in two cage lengths: 60mm (standard) or 48mm (small). Pick the one that best matches your flaccid length to reduce painful tugging on the balls during erections.

This review is over the standard, 60mm size – which is a good fit for my partner.

So, before we get into this review, it’s worth noting that this is *not* the Holy Trainer device you might associate with the name if you’re in the US. House of Denial isn’t reselling the Switzerland Original SA Holy Trainer. Instead, House of Denial has trademarked the “Holy Trainer” name in the UK – and they’re selling their own in-house device. This is something you should be aware of if you’re looking to purchase the device. It is not a “genuine” Holy Trainer from Switzerland. I don’t know why House of Denial didn’t choose to select well, any other name, when making their device, but it is what it is. I will try to refer to this company’s device as the House of Denial Holy Trainer to help you remember.

Inside of a standard, boring, plain brown box, you’ll have your new chastity device when you get it in the mail. The device comes in a brown, sorta-see-through soft case. This case easily fits all of the parts without any Tetris involved (looking at you, other chastity cages). The cage doesn’t come with any instructions, so you’ll just get the cage and keys to play with.

So what does come with the House of Denial Clear Holy Trainer V2 Chastity Device? You get everything you need to play with the cage as soon as you have it. The House of Denial chastity cage comes with the penis tube itself, four different ring sizes, the locking mechanism (which is removable to move between ring sizes) and two keys. This all comes within the previously-mentioned zip-up soft storage case which works wonderfully to keep the kit all together when you’re not using it.

Our cage has an interesting black speck on it. It isn’t noticeable through touch at all, and it doesn’t affect the texture of the cage. It just is there.

The four ring sizes are 36mm, 40mm, 45mm, and 50mm. The internal diameter of the shaft cage is 34mm.

Putting the cage on takes a bit of practice as well. You can find quite a few tutorials online about how to put on a chastity cage. This one tends to follow the same instructions as all of those. With the bioresin material, it’s decently slick, and a little bit of lube will go a long way. The cage also tends to warm up really quickly to body temperature after you put it on. Both things make it particularly pleasant to put on. Unlike stainless steel devices, it’s not usually insanely frigid upon first touch.

When it comes to daily wear, the cage has been pretty good. I was, honestly, a bit concerned about safety because of the lower price point. Lower prices usually means lower quality control – and lower precision. I spent quite a bit of time, when we got the cage, just running my fingers along all of the bits and figuring out if it’d be safe for wear. Once I okay’ed it, it went onto his dick. And it did pretty well there. He says he hasn’t had any discomfort or scratching from the device itself. It still does the standard “pulling on the balls with an erection” thing he hates, but he says there isn’t anything wrong with the device itself. He says it’s pretty comfortable, pretty easy to get in and out of, and pretty comfortable for daily wear.

He and I both have remarked about the lock and key mechanism, though. It’s not “bad”, but it’s definitely finicky. Luckily, it’s only finicky on the locking end of things. When you go to unlock, it’s super smooth. When you slide the lock in and attempt to lock it, it might take a few tries until you have the lock lined up in the perfect spot. It’s particularly fussy about it when you’re doing it on a human versus just locking the cage up for practice with no one in it. We haven’t had any times where it wouldn’t lock, though. It just takes a bit of moving around and trying again and again. I usually expect to spend about a minute just trying to get the lock sealed up. That being said, it unlocks really smoothly, so it’s only the “locking it” part that’s aggravating.

Speaking of locks, the key itself isn’t particularly glamorous. It’s not the end of the world, but as a lot of keyholders – myself included – like to wear the keys as teasing, you have to be particularly careful with this one. It looks like a very industrial key. This isn’t a problem in itself, but it doesn’t “look” like a feminine, softer key that someone would wear as a necklace, so you’ll definitely get questions from vanilla people. My excuse was that I lose the key to my office, so I like to keep it on my neck. Which definitely made people suspicious too, but it was better than nothing. This one, with its industrial appearance, tends to work better as an anklet where fewer people will notice it – but your chaste subject will still know it’s there.

We’ve worn the cage for two weeks straight at this point. We’ve gone off and on with chastity, but most of the time he wears it, it’s for two weeks. He isn’t as fond of ball-trap devices (such as this chastity cage) since trying chastity belts, but we still enjoy playing with them sometimes. (If you’re looking to move onto regular male chastity device wearing too, you might appreciate my 6 week femdom chastity training plan) With that timeframe in mind, we had to keep cleanliness in mind too. With all three holes towards the tip of the House of Denial Clear Holy Trainer V2 chastity device, urine drains out pretty nicely. It also provides a nice spot for easy cleaning during showering – especially if you have a removable showerhead. In fact, it seems to be a lot easier to keep clean than a lot of our other chastity devices; the devices with a single hole at the head don’t clean up nearly as easily.

Discretion is an important part of wearing your chastity device. And the House of Denial Clear Holy Trainer V2 Chastity device does okay with that. Especially because of the lack of an external lock and key, the chastity device tends to sit really comfortably between the legs – and makes very little pronouncement beneath the wearer’s underwear. It is pretty much undetectable underneath his business pants and his jeans. The only time we’re barely able to see it is when he’s underwear-less with thin pajama pants. So if you’re looking for really discreet, this one does a great job.

A common question is whether this is a good fit for airport security or metal checkpoints. Because of the integrated metal lock on the House of Denial Holy Trainer V2 chastity cage, I’m going to go with a “no”. We haven’t actually tried it, but considering my finger rings will set off their alarms, this still seems like enough metal to cause an issue. It’s a really, really, really close fit, but one of those disposable plastic locks can fit into this bioresin chastity cage when assembled – but it isn’t nearly as sturdy as with the dedicated metal lock being used. For that reason, I’d honestly recommend that you just allow the wearer to remove the cage, go through security, and put the cage back on. You could require photos or audio or whatever you had in mind or making sure they don’t “cheat”. The important part is making it through a security checkpoint without issue – so make sure to keep your game of chastity in a proper perspective with that in mind.

Despite the House of Denial Holy Trainer V2 chastity device being comfortable, we still remove it on a weekly basis for full cleanings. You can turn that into a ritualistic part of your chastity if you want. Or just be lazy like me and command your sub to clean out their cage and bring it to you for inspection. He says the cage cleans up pretty damn easy too. Warm soap and water – and some fingers with a washcloth – and it is presented to me almost as good as new. Since the plastic has a slight cloudiness to it by default, any hard water stains or anything aren’t too visible – but it will be visible if the cage isn’t entirely clean. So it’s a nice mixture of the two.

On the topic of cleaning, though, make sure to keep the water nowhere near the lock and key mechanism. The last thing you want is to start rusting that – or harming it. I usually hold onto the lock and key while he cleans it – and I make sure the device is clean (or he has to use a hairdryer to REALLY make sure it is) before sliding the lock back into its hole. Again, you don’t have to, but the day where you find out that your lock accidentally rusted to the point of unusability is the day you’re going to be very sad.

Overall, while we have yet to experience an Original SA Holy Trainer branded device for comparison purposes, we have to admit that the House of Denial Holy Trainer V2 device is a fantastic device in its own right. It’s comfortable, it’s really easy to wear, and it’s really discreet as well. The clear design is the perfect amount of see-through while the cage itself has been really comfortable for long-term wear – including easier cleaning with the multiple holes. We’ve been slightly frustrated by getting the lock properly situated when locking it up, but it’s never been a deal-breaker. When you consider the price tag, this chastity cage definitely gets a “recommended” from me. Thanks to House of Denial for providing this resin male chastity cage for my House of Denial Clear Holy Trainer v2 Chastity Device review. House of Denial also sells their full line of various House of Denial Holy Trainer versions.
