GreyGasms Sirs Grey Tie, a new bondage item from the GreyGasms line sold by 50Toys, is a silver necktie designed especially for bondage. About sixty inches in length at about four inches at the widest point, this necktie is made from polyester, and it can be used as both a necktie as well as a fun bondage tie.
The packaging for this is pretty minimal. It comes in a cardboard box that easily opens up to show the tie. The box is oblong-shaped, and it really doesn’t work for storage because you won’t be able to stack anything on top of it – or around it. The box is also much larger than the tie, so you really don’t need to keep it for anything. The tie itself comes in a plastic sleeve, and it’s easily removed from the sleeve. The sleeve is also disposable.
As you can imagine, this is actually just a simple grey tie. It has a silver sheen to it, and it has a silk-like material as well. This silk-like material feels really nice against the skin, and the slick material makes it really simple to tie up as well. There’s really nothing too “bondage-like” to this tie. In fact, if you wanted, you could easily wear it with a suit or dress-up outfit without anyone thinking twice about it. So it very passably looks like a regular tie, which, for those with discretion requirements, that will be a good thing.
The quality on this bondage tie isn’t the best. It’s not the worst, but it isn’t the greatest either. Straight out of the box, there were some loose threads, and there are some areas where you can see the stitching. It will work fine for bondage, and it looks good enough, but it may not be the high-quality, professional tie that you’re looking for. For bondage, though, it works just fine. Though I imagine the stitching may start to fall apart with very heavy usage of the tie just because of how it seems to be held together. So I wouldn’t expect this GreyGasms Sirs Grey Tie to last forever because it doesn’t look like the stitching is going to hold up to that.
As to how well it holds knots, it holds knots much like a semi-silky tie would. That is, it holds them really well. This is a good thing and a bad thing. For one, it’ll work really well for your bondage, and it allows you to easily keep the bondage knots that you put into the tie. On the bad side, though, it also means that you DEFINITELY have to have scissors or something else nearby in case you can’t undo the knots. With struggling, knots will pull even tighter with this tie, and while that’s part of the fun, it also means that you have to plan ahead, safety-wise, to make sure that you can undo the knots, somehow, after your play is done. So have scissors available ahead of time (safety shears, if possible).
Overall, if you like the silver coloring and the idea of having a specific “bondage” tie, the GreyGasms Collections Sirs Grey Tie will work well. However, don’t expect anything extra out of it – it’s mostly just a low-quality necktie that really doesn’t have any extra “bondage” features that would make it exceptional.
