Designed specifically for strap-on use, the Fuze Wilde Dildo is the company’s most generously proportioned toy. Offering a slightly pronounced head at the tip with a bit of ripples nearby but otherwise textureless, this toy is 1.75″ in thickness with a length of 7″. Like all Fuze toys, the dildo comes equipped with a flat, ribbed base for wearer stimulation. Next to this ribbed base is a small hole that allows for a bullet vibrator (not included) for even more pleasure. This dildo offers a high-shine body-safe silicone, and it’s available in both a gem purple and a shiny black.
Similar to other dildo manufacturers, most of the toys from Fuze will come in similar-types of packaging. Fuze uses a slightly-sturdy plastic see-through box. The box allows you to view the dildo from all angles before purchasing. The packaging probably won’t hold up to any heavy objects placed on top of it, but it does provide a ton of useful information about the dildo, and it will keep your toy safe until you get it. One of the biggest draws to the Fuze Dildos brand is that they’re especially designed for use in strap-on harnesses. While some people with penises do use strap-on harnesses, a good chunk of the strap-on harness market is taken up with vagina-owners who are wearing harnesses. With that in mind, some of the round, thick, or unwiedy bases don’t seem particularly designed for the harness wearer’s pleasure – or even for their comfort. I’ve had bases that pushed into my thighs or ones that pressed painfully into particular areas.
Fuze changed that. They wanted to make a base that was just as fun for the wearer as it was for the receiver. The base actually achieves that relatively well. If you’re a vagina-owner who can orgasm from grinding up against firm objects, this is a toy that could help you orgasm during strap-on sex. Unlike other strap-on toys, there wasn’t a single second of discomfort or annoyance while wearing this dildo. At the same time, being able to orgasm and enjoy all of the ridges will depend upon how the dildo is situated against the wearer’s body. Experiment and feel free to try different positions until the ridges hit where they need to. The most important lesson is that: even if the base doesn’t always get you off, it’s always been comfortable for strap-on use. I’ve never once had it get in an uncomfortable area in any positions or times that I’ve used it.
In terms of size, the Fuze Wilde is about the width of an average human penis. It might have a bit more length compared to a human penis. However, for being one of the largest and thickest toys that Fuze offers, it’s surprisingly not all that “size queen/king” like. It’s pretty standard in size compared to many dildos.
At the same time, the Fuze Wilde isn’t made of particularly flexible silicone. The silicone isn’t rigid, but it takes quite a bit of effort to be able to bend it. This makes it particularly well-suited to anal play. It won’t bend when you’re trying to slide it in various areas. This lack of flexibility means that the silicone isn’t very soft or plushy either. The size that you measure on the dildo is the size that you’re going to get.
The Fuze Wilde shaft is also one of the thickest toys that Fuze offers. Its thickness lends itself well to strap-on harness users that enjoy a thicker toy. For those that enjoy being able to feel every “touch” of the material, the Fuze Wilde provides that as well. The glossy silicone tends to produce a pretty noticeable drag on the skin. Depending on how much of that sensation you enjoy, you might end up reapplying lubricant particularly frequently. We’ve taken to covering it with a condom; it makes for easier clean-up while reducing how often that lubricant needs to be applied. If you enjoy that sensation of dragging of a toy against the skin, though, the Fuze Wilde definitely provides that.
While you’re wearing it in your harness, you might be pleased to realize that the dildo doesn’t really droop. It doesn’t quite have the upward angle that some of my Vamp Silicone strap-on toys do, but it doesn’t droop like a lot of my Tantus or Vixen Creations toys do. The ridged and curved base helps support the weight of the dildo, and it keeps the dildo pointing slightly upwards.
I enjoy the Fuze Wilde – probably the most out of the various Fuze brand dildos that I’ve played with so far. I know they’re still a smaller company, but I’m hoping to see them expand their dildo size line-ups. I’m particularly fond of dildos of slightly-above-average length so it looks more in-ratio with my thicker hips. I know some people are fond of pretty thick-diameter dildos for pegging as well, so again, that’d be another market they could get into with their revolutionary base. I’m hoping to see them expand into non-standard sizing as they get larger. Many pegging couples, in particular, really tend towards above-average width toys.
As a full piece of high-quality silicone, the Fuze Wilde is designed to be easy to clean – and it is. The only annoying cleansing concern is the hollow bullet space at the base of the dildo. Make sure you take the time to clean out the hole to avoid any bacteria build-up. The Fuze Wilde can be cleaned pretty simply, though. Use warm water and anti-bacterial soap, and the entire toy will clean up very easily. There are no crevices or various annoying spots to worry about. When using lubricant, make sure to choose a lubricant that’s compatible – that means you’ll most-likely want to select from water-based options.
For storage, this type of silicone tends to pick up a lot of hair or dust. You could keep it in the original plastic box, or you could choose a plastic baggie or other drawstring bag. It may require a quick rinse in the sink to remove any hair that’s taken a ride right before any uses, but water makes the hair/lint come off really easily.
Overall, if you’re into the idea of a standard-size dildo that excels with strap-on harness use, the Fuze Wilde is a good choice for you. The ridging at the base can provide a good amount of clitoral stimulation, and most importantly, it fits so comfortably between the legs that it doesn’t hurt during harness wear. The dildo provides a particularly good sensation – especially for people who love thicker dildos or silicone that produces a bit of a dragging sensation.
