Fleshy Thrust Sync Review: How Does It Feel?
Ooooooh, boy. Partnered with the synchronization, the Fleshy Thrust Sync is one ultra-potent stroker. The pleasure potential is genuinely off-the-charts.
It’s important to note that the Fleshy Thrust Sync doesn’t feel as all-encompassing or as snugly textured as a full-sized Fleshlight or KIIROO stroker. It simply doesn’t have the length or the tightness. During this review, when I required my submissive to manually hold the Fleshy Thrust Sync and move the entire unit up and down his shaft, he noted that it’s a lot less texture-intense than some of our other full-size strokers.
The magic is in the synchronization. While the sleeve itself is less intense than some manual options, the synchronization and automation really takes the stroker’s texture to the next level. Instead of thinking about how the sleeve feels, your brain is caught up in the action on the screen and your penis is just along for the pleasurable ride.
(My partner compares it to vaginal sex with a partner. An Extended Warranty?
I gotta be honest, this is the first time I’ve ever seen this in the world of sex toys. The manufacturer, Fleshy, offers an extended warranty on your Thrust Sync. If you subscribe to their Fleshy+ subscription service (which includes FapTap Premium), the warranty on your Thrust Sync extends coverage as long as you’re subscribed.
That means, as long as you’re still paying for Fleshy+ (and using FapTap Premium), your Thrust Sync is covered under warranty, protecting it from any defects in workmanship or parts.
It’s important to know what your sex toy warranty actually covers, though – especially if you’re using it as part of your reason for choosing the Fleshy Thrust Sync. You can see their full, current policy here.
Their current published gist is: “If your product becomes non-functional through normal use within 1 year from the moment you placed your order, and you are no longer eligible for a completely free replacement or a full refund (see the other policy above), you are, at a minimum, still eligible for an at-cost replacement during the duration of the year. In short, we will make things right, and we won’t earn a penny while doing so.”
Which sounds pretty solid, if you ask me.
There are a couple things to note.
- It won’t apply if the toy has water damage. The Fleshy Thrust Sync is NOT waterproof; do not get it anywhere near water.
- It won’t apply if you use silicone or oil-based lubricants with the toy. Those, again, are not compatible with the stroker.
- It doesn’t apply to the inner TPE stroker sleeve. This warranty is primarily for the expensive motors and its plastic parts. The TPE stroker sleeve, with use, WILL break down. However, you can purchase the sleeve, by itself, to replace the TPE stroker sleeve at a much, much lower price. (Swapping out the sleeves also gives you new sensations including tighter or looser fits.)
This extended warranty is essentially unheard of in the world of sex toys. As long as you’re a Fleshy+ subscriber (which you probably will want to be, for the FapTap Premium account), your sex toy is covered. If you know that synchronized porn will be a life-changing, wanna-use-it-often experience for you, this instantly shoves the Fleshy Thrust Sync to the top of the list.
(It’s worth noting that the components and motors required to constantly lever parts up and down will break down faster than other, less-intense movements. Replacing a toy with automated movements – like in the Thrust Sync – every year or so is not unheard of or unexpected – especially with heavy use. Larger and thicker shafts will make this replacement necessary more often as the motor meets more resistance with every stroke. Take this into account.)
The Included USB-C Charging Cable
Fleshy is doing what more sex toys should be doing: going with a standard USB-C charging cable to charge the sex toy. This means you don’t have to worry about stupid, dumb proprietary charging cords that only work with one sex toy.
However, Fleshy seems to have missed the mark here. Their instruction guide clearly states that you MUST use Fleshy’s own USB-C charging cable. If you use a different, third-party cable with your Thrust Sync, it will void your warranty.
So…it essentially is a proprietary charging cable again, despite using the universal series bus-C port that my cell phone uses.
I’m sure this was put in place to protect the device against crappy USB-C charging cables that don’t provide a steady, safe current, but it negates part of the point of equipping your device with a USB-C port in the first place.
Fleshy Thrust Sync Review: Final Thoughts
I am very rarely jealous of penis toys, but this is the one case where I’ll make an exception. I want this level of interactivity and functionality in a clitoral pleasure toy. The Fleshy Thrust Sync has gone above-and-beyond what “teledildonics” has looked like in the past.
Even compared to my KIIROO toys (considered some of the leading teledildonics options right now), the Fleshy Thrust Sync is winning. The set-up and connection is quick and easy. The video synchronization is flawless and reliable. The system is easy-to-understand and quick to jump into.
