The Fleshlight Flight is one of the smaller and easier-to-hold male masturbation products that Fleshlight now produces. This sleeve is made from Superskin and plastic – but it’s a lot smaller in size than the original Fleshlights. At only eight inches long, it’s a full four inches (almost half of the size of the original!) smaller. It weighs less, and it has a much less bulky design. Fleshlight changed up their packaging for the Fleshlight Flight as well. It doesn’t come in a mini aluminum tin. Instead, it comes in a cardboard box that can be recycled straight after “rescuing” your sex toy. I’m a bit sad to see the change from the nice tins to this cardboard box, but as the Fleshlight Flight is pretty unique in the outer case from the rest of the Fleshlight line, I see why they chose against the more-costed aluminum tins to store it. The packaging does look pretty though, and your small Fleshlight comes with a sample of lubricant and instructions for use.
The design of the Fleshlight Flight is somewhat like a mini “Original Fleshlight”. It has the inner Superskin sleeve in a clear color, and that’s removable from the outside, plastic casing for easy cleaning. The inner sleeve is pretty flexible, so it’s hard to use on its own without the plastic casing. The casing has particular design points to hold the sleeve in during hard thrusting, so the sleeve stays in very well. The Fleshlight Flight includes a tighten-on lid which means that the Fleshlight Flight is a self-contained package that protects the vulnerable inner sleeve from hair and dust. Along with that, the Fleshlight Flight also includes a screw-on cap at the base that controls suction and pressure. When tightened, the chamber includes more suction, and when untightened, there’s less pressure.

The texture this male sex toy uses is called the “Flight” texture. On the bright side, it’s great that the Flight is smaller in length because it means that more people will be able to access the full texture. Towards the entrance, there’s a small portion with numbs on it, and through there, there’s a couple more chambers with nubs. Towards the middle, the texture includes more pronounced bumps, and if you’re long enough to reach the end, the end of the chamber purely just includes ridges. My partner says he wishes that the “end” texture would have been more intense for head stimulation, but he says that he understands why it isn’t as an intense texture hitting the head constantly might have been overstimulation for some people.
For use, it’s critical that you remember to use water-based lubricant. Silicone-based lubricant could harm the material of the Fleshlight Flight. Make sure to lubricate your penis and the outside (and some of the inside) of the Fleshlight before inserting for the best experience. The inner Fleshlight sleeve can also be removed and soaked in warm water to enhance the life-like properties of the material before use if you prefer.
I do wonder about the choice of their “clear” material to make the masturbation sleeve as well. As the case is pure black and can’t be seen through, I find this completely mind-boggling. It wouldn’t be *as* bad except the clear sleeves are stickier than their colored counterparts. It’s even stated in the FAQ on the official Fleshlight website. So we get an extra-sticky sleeve without any benefits aside from a clear-ish color that goes well with the black color of the casing. The stickiness goes away pretty quickly after lubricant is applied, but the material does feel sticky when handling the sleeve for putting it away or getting it out.
I have to say that I may not be as fond of the Fleshlight Flight case as I am of the original Fleshlight cases. Not as in the “packaging”, but the plastic case of the masturbator itself. The partner agrees. In the original Fleshlight, there’s those really large ridges partnered with a giant size difference to help you hold onto the Fleshlight. With the Flight, while they did include a texture on the outside to help, it’s not quite as an easy to handle, and you’ll definitely want to make sure to wipe your hands down really well before putting your lubed hands on the case as it then becomes very hard to use. You can “use” it, but with the slickness, it’s hard to get good, fast thrusting going on unless the Fleshlight Flight is mostly dry. This is a sad downside of the design.
Something to caution for: If you happened to be one of those guys that had enough length to actually fill out one of the original Fleshlights (more details on Should I Buy a Fleshlight?), go into the Fleshlight Flight understanding that it is shorter than most Fleshlights, and it may actually end up being too short to fit your entire penis. For the average male, this won’t be an issue (and the original Fleshlights were WAYY too long for the average male), but if you happened to have an extra-long penis, you may want to stick with the original Fleshlights instead of the Fleshlight Flight if you enjoy being fully inserted into something. As the original Fleshlights were really designed WAY too large for the average male, though, the average male will find that the Fleshlight Flight’s lack of weight and bulky-ness is much better.
So what about the feeling itself? I obviously had to bring my partner into this one to try it out. I will say, though, I was curious, so I stuck a couple fingers into it, and I see why he’s always saying “It’s so hard to describe!” because I’m pretty sure fingers have more tactile sense than a penis, and I still couldn’t come up with anything besides “texture-y”. So I totally feel for him.
But as someone who has used the “Sex in a Can” line from Fleshlight which was their last travel-sized trial, he agrees that the Fleshlight Flight is much better. It has a great amount of suction, but he does note that the suction doesn’t have quite the adjustable range that he notices in the originals. The chamber feels tight – but not painfully tight which was a problem we had with the “Sex In a Can” line. As mentioned above, he had some difficulty holding onto it with slick hands, but he much likes the light-weight aspect of it and how he can use a single hand instead of the two hands required by the heavier Original Fleshlights. He really likes the texture, and he compares it to the nice, pleasurable-ness of the other Fleshlights. He says it’s really just like a regular Fleshlight in texture – except smaller. His favorite texture is still the “Wonder Wave” texture, but he really did like this one as well. It leads, pretty quickly, to orgasm, and it is a pleasurable – but not too intense – texture.
To clean this penis sex toy, you’ll want to use warm water. As with all Superskin products, it’s recommended that you avoid using soap as it could deteriorate the material of the Superskin. Very hot water and thorough cleaning always seems to work fine for us. Make sure it dries FULLY before putting it away. This is to avoid mold. We usually leave ours out at least overnight to let it fully dry, and we’ve never had any issues. For storage, as the box isn’t too sturdy, you’ll just want to put on the two caps to the Flight and store it away from any location that’s too hot. Again, only use water-based lubricant with the Fleshlight Flight.
Overall, for an average-sized male, as the Fleshlight Flight still provides the same, pleasurable and intense experience that a full-size Fleshlight can bring, you may find that the reduced cost and the reduced bulk of this smaller case will appeal to you. The texture is just as great, and while I question a couple of their design aspects, for the most part, it’s a very functional masturbation sleeve.
