I always have loved the Don Wands packaging. If you purchase a glass toy from them, they make sure that it’s going to stay safe. The outer packaging is a bit of a “bubble” of plastic that allows you to see your glass toy on the inside. They include a free sample of Wet Platinum silicone-based lubricant. Along with this, they also include a pink, extremely padded storage bag to keep your glass dildo in. This is probably my favorite glass storage bag, so I’m glad Don Wands is still including them with their products. I absolutely love the Helix pattern on this Don Wands dildo. It looks great in the picture, but it looks even better close up. The pattern seems to have little particles in it, and it spirals up and down the length of the toy. The Helix Dichio Glass Dildo doesn’t really have any texture to it. The head of the dildo is a bit pronounced and is easily the widest part of the sex toy, but aside from there, there is no texture to it. It’s a bit wide for most people’s anal usage, but because of the flared base, it can be used anally if that interests you.
For those who don’t know, Don Wand’s products are made from Pyrex Glass. This makes them extremely strong and extremely resistant. I’ve heard questions about how to keep a glass dildo from breaking during use. It’s easy; it doesn’t break. The glass is very strong and try as I might, my strength can’t break it. Even tapping it up against tables doesn’t break it. Your vagina definitely won’t.
One of the properties of glass is that it’s slick. I’ve been on a glass kick lately due to that very reason. I absolutely love easy-to-insert sex toys, and glass is extremely easy to insert due to the slick surface. This also means that the dildo requires virtually no lubrication to use. (I didn’t have to use any extra lube.)

However, if left alone, the glass toy will stay at a cool room temperature which makes it really easy to use. Do not microwave nor freeze the dildo though; it will break down parts of the glass.
This sex toy does have a slight curve to it, but don’t expect it to hit your g-spot. The slight curve is barely noticable, and unless you have a really sensitive g-spot, it won’t hit it. However, the head is very pleasurable during use. The head is very pronounced away from the rest of the body of the dildo, and it’s really neat to just use shallow thrusts with just the head of the dildo to get just that sensation. This sex toy is really slick though, and it won’t end up requiring multiple applications of lubricant which can make things even more pleasurable.
If you enjoy deep-reaching toys, this one can end up lightly rubbing up against the cervix if you find that enjoyable. However, you can use shallower thrusts if that doesn’t sound good to you. Either way, the dildo does a good job of being an insertable dildo that will probably hard, rigid sensations and is extremely easy to insert.
Glass is really easy to take care of. You just have to wash it with water and mild soap. It can be sterilized with bleach as well. It can also be covered with a condom to share it between partners. If you see a chip in your glass sex toy, make sure to throw it away; it’s better to be safe than sorry. Glass is compatible with any type of lubricant you own. I recommend storing this sex toy in the nicely padded pouch that the Don Wands toy comes with. It should keep your toy safe – even if you have a habit of tossing it around.
