UPDATE JANUARY 2024: This sex book is no longer in production – but this review remains for anyone who’d like info about it. While you’re here, why not check out some additional educational info – like online submissive tasks, beginner pegging positions, saran wrap bondage, and enema 101 info.

“Cosmo’s Bedside Quiz Book” is a Cosmopolitan quiz book. The book, as you can guess, is written by Cosmo editors. The book is softcover with black and white (and pink!) pages inside.

The book is 148 pages long and includes 27 different quizzes. All of the quizzes seem to be in a multiple-choice format. The front of the book shows the feet of a couple entwined in blankets with the title. The backside just shows the titles of quizzes. Since it’s just a quiz book (and no more risque than a Cosmo magazine), this should be a book that will be just fine to take out in public – although you might look a bit silly since it’s called “bedside quizzes”.

If you are a fan of Cosmo or other women’s magazines, you’ll notice the same format with these quizzes. They are basically the same type of quizzes that you would expect to find at the back of women’s magazines. Most of the quizzes have ten different multiple-choice questions. You choose your answers, then, at the end, you pick out your answer from the answer bank and add as many points as your answer signifies. Then you add together your score, and the book will give you the solution to your quiz. It’s just a basic format used in most women’s magazines. It’s really easy to do.

I’ve used pencil on this book, and it ends up erasing relatively well. It will still leave a mark, and it will still show the place where you had originally marked it, but it will erase without much of a problem. If you want to keep your book looking neat, I’d recommend you answer your quizzes on a separate piece of paper. This will keep the book looking the nicest. With only ten questions per quiz, it’s not exactly hard to just pull out a piece of paper to doodle on.

The quizzes in this book are divided into three different subheadings – there is love, lust, and life. As you can imagine, the quizzes in each of the different subheadings all stick to the theme. Each one of the subheadings are relatively equally split with “Lust” containing the least amount of quizzes.

In the Love subheading, some (but not all) of the quizzes you will see:
Are you a Commitment Phobe?, Is He Worthy of your Love?, Is He a Keeper?, How Deep is Your Love?, Are you Compatible or Incompatible?, Are You a Together-Forever Couple?

In the Lust subheading, some (but not all) of the quizzes you will see:
How Bare Do You Dare?, Are You a Tease?, What Kind of Sexual Vibe Do You Give Off?, Cosmo’s Sexual Aptitude Test, How Good Is Your Sexual Etiquette?

In the Life subheading, some (but not all) of the quizzes you will see:
Do You Need an Attitude Adjustment?, What’s Your Emotional Age?, What’s Your True Calling?, Are You Psychic?, Do You Have a Healthy Ego?, Are You a Trauma Queen?

As you can imagine, the quizzes in this book don’t actually have much validity behind them. They are just quizzes that some Cosmo editors came up with to judge the different parameters. As such, they are just intended for fun, and I can vouch that some people find them amusing since it’s one of the submissive‘s guilty pleasures to take some of these types of quizzes.

The quizzes themselves just seem to take after the magazine quizzes. I don’t remember ever having taken them before, but the quizzes themselves are relatively fun to take – as fun as a quiz could be, anyway. They don’t produce amazing answers, but reading the “paragraph” that includes your answer is amusing. Each answer is usually at least half a page, so you do get a nice explanation of why the editors decided your answers belonged in that category.

“Cosmo’s Bedside Quiz Book” is a neat little book of 27 Great Sex and Relationship Quizzes. If you sometimes buy women’s magazines just to take the quizzes included in the magazine, this neat little quiz book is a great compilation of them. The quizzes are fun to take, and while it won’t take you too long to make it through 27 quizzes, it’s fun to retake the quizzes in a couple of years and see where your answers are now.
