The Body & Soul Desire vibrator is a plastic vibrator designed by California Exotics. Powered by two AAA batteries, this vibrator is about five and a half inches long and has a diameter of slightly over an inch. It’s like an extra-long bullet. Including a soft “Satin Finish” coat over the plastic, the Body & Soul Desire vibrator is waterproof and includes 10 different functions of vibration. It’s available in multiple colors.
The packaging for this vibrator is pretty basic. It comes in a plain white cardboard box, and this box is small and lightweight. The vibrator is housed inside the box. The box is pretty flimsy, and as the vibrator can store on its own anyway, there’s really no reason to keep the box. It can be opened and then recycled.
This vibrator is very basic in design. It’s about the diameter of your average bullet vibrator except it’s much longer in length. The plastic material is pretty smooth, and the material easily glides over your hands without any problem. The base of the vibrator can be unscrewed, and the base also includes the control button as well. There’s a single button that is easily pushed down to control the vibrator. You can do single presses to make the vibrator change settings while holding it down will make the vibrator turn off.
As the previous paragraphs said, this plastic vibe uses two AAA batteries. These two batteries are easily inserted through the base of the toy which unscrews. There is a cardboard liner on the inside of the compartment that makes the batteries avoid rattling while turned on. However, this liner does make the compartment a tight fit, so you do have to do some good shakes of the vibrator to get the batteries to slide back out.
The vibrations on this sex toy are on the moderate side. They are definitely more buzzy than rumbly, but they also can be easily felt, and this slim vibrator does pack more of a punch than what you’d expect from a bullet-type vibrator. It’s not as strong as some of the larger vibrators out there, but it’s moderate enough. I can’t orgasm from it.
If you’re looking for something stronger, the We-Vibe Tango X is going to be shorter in length but packs in a lot more power. (It’s also more expensive, too!)
The vibrations themselves can be heard in the same room but not outside of a closed door. This is probably not something you’ll want to take into a quiet room because it could be easily heard.
This vibrator is okay. It’s a pretty back-to-basics vibrator. It has a pretty simple and slim body that vibrates decently, and the vibrator also includes the button on the base which is simple and easy to press. The vibrations really aren’t as strong as I’d like, but I really do like the design. The long, slim design mixed with the smooth plastic feel really nice, and if the vibrations had more intensity, I’d actually really like this vibrator more than I do. As it stands, though, the Body & Soul Desire vibrator is just not strong enough for me; I’m sure it might be strong enough for some, but for me, it just isn’t the best choice.
To clean this sex toy, you’ll want to use warm water and antibacterial soap. As this one is waterproof, you don’t have to be quite as careful about the water. It’s compatible with all types of lubricant, and as the vibrator is made of a slick plastic that holds up strong, this vibrator doesn’t have any particular storage concerns and can be stored anywhere.
Overall, while the Body & Soul Desire isn’t fancy, it does just fine at being a very basic vibrator that’s simple and affordable. It’s made of safe material, and it’s a breeze to use. The vibrations may not be strong enough for everyone, but if it’s strong enough for you, I could easily see this becoming a trusted toy at a low price point. It’s basic, but it’s well-designed.
