The Black Full Length Lace and Mesh Gown is a plus-size piece of lingerie that is a low mesh and lace gown with a split down the front of the dress. This piece of queen-sized lingerie can be purchased from TabuToys. Included with the Black Full Length Lace and Mesh Gown is a thong as well. The gown comes in a black color, and it includes regular shoulder straps (instead of being a halter top).

The packaging is really basic. It just comes in a regular plastic bag that easily is opened to take out the outfit itself. Once you take out the dress, there’s a tag on the lace that is easiyl removable. Aside from that, though, just like regular clothing, it’s then ready to wear! It’s packaging that you’ll probably throw away after you open it. As you could probably guess, this outfit does not come with a hanger, but it hangs up really easily on any hangers you have laying around.
I prefer lingerie that is longer in length. I think it really frames my hips better, and surprisingly, it’s actually hard to find lingerie like that. Most lingerie usually cuts off right around the butt area, and while I’ll wear that lingerie, it doesn’t really provide the same “sophisticated” feeling that the feeling of a long dress does. Plus, if you are self-conscious about your legs (or possibly haven’t shaved in awhile), the lingerie’s slightly see-through mesh will really frame your legs nicely while hiding your insecurities.
The Black Full Length Lace and Mesh Gown comes in both 1x/2x and 3x/4x. As you can tell by the picture, the gown has two regular straps that hold the gown up, and there’s a lacing detail around the cups and down the center of the stomach. The lacing along the stomach helps draw the eyes away from the hips and arms, so it works wonderfully to discreetly “disguise” parts of your body. Along with that, the side panels to the dress are made of mesh, and the dress portion is also made of mesh. The dress portion is a full skirt that hits the ankles, but it has a slit through the front of the dress up to the crotch area. This makes it sexily sway along your legs, and it makes it really easy to have sex in it since the dress just splits apart. This dress probably can not be worn in public since it is entirely see-through, but you could get away with wearing it at a swingers club/adult function as long as you had panties on and possibly some pasties. While the lace breast portions are see-through, the lace does a good job of making it hard to see the nipple, so you may not need pasties depending upon your comfort level.
The one thing that surprised me the most was the comfort of this lingerie! It’s really, really comfortable! I expected the lace to be at least somewhat scratchy as that’s what most lace usually is. It isn’t! I could happily hang around in this outfit as pajamas (if it wouldn’t be so awkward to fetch the mail when the doorman came). I wouldn’t wear them on a daily basis as the material is probably too fragile for those frequent washings, but I certainly feel like I could. I would have no issue wearing this to a kink party or a lingerie party either all night. The material just really seems to caress the skin nicely, and while it makes you look sexy, it’ll make you feel sexy as well.
I was pleasantly surprised by the bust of this lingerie. When it said “D/DD”, I was worried that, like most plus-size lingerie, it would assume that I had a huge chest (which I, unfortunately, do not). Many pieces of lingerie are just huge for me in the chest. I am pleasantly surprised to say that it hugged my breasts just right. It had extra room, but it wasn’t baggy in the slightest, and it was obvious that the material would stretch to fit larger chests.
The bust portion is not as supportive as it could be, but it’s not bad either. It won’t push-up your breasts or keep them in a way for cleavage, but it also doesn’t let them droop in an awkward, un-supportive way. The fabric was a bit loose on my B-cup size, so you can probably go up to a D or DD cup without there being too much of an issue. It won’t support the larger breasts (over a D) quite as well, but it still should support them enough to look attractive. I wish it had some sort of push-up properties to make my breasts look better, but it still does a good job. Because there is no underwire in this dress, it does make it much more comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
For point of comparison, I’m 5’7″, and the dress hit right above my ankles. I own the 3x/4x size. When I took my measurements a week ago, I had a 48″ bust, a 47″ waist, and 62″ hips. I usually wear about a size 26/28 on my bottom and a slightly smaller size (26) on top. I was planning on wearing this lingerie after I had lost a bit more weight, but it does fit my body now! This dress fits very comfortably! I have to put it on over my head to avoid putting the narrower parts on my hips, but it still does fit really comfortably. The dress does ride up slightly on my hips if I move around a lot, but it still stays looking really attractive and flattering on my larger hips.
To be honest, I’m not much for handwashing lingerie. I probably never will be. The tag asks you too, but I’ve been washing mine in a lingerie bag (by itself) on the gentle cycle in the washer and leaving it to hang dry. It seems to be working out okay for it. It might cause it a slightly earlier death, but it still seems to work well enough that I’m not worried about it falling apart in the next cycle. Just to be safe, though, I’d attempt to avoid getting bodily fluids or too much sweat on the outfit.
Overall, I’m in love with this outfit. Lingerie is supposed to enhance what you have and make you feel beautiful, and that’s exactly what this outfit does. It does a good job of showing off your hips, and while it doesn’t push-up the breasts, it does a decent job of keeping them where they should be. Plus, having the little dress tails glide against your skin feels really sexy and makes you feel almost like a princess (and helps hide some of those leg areas that you may not like). I’m in love with this plus-size lingerie, and I certainly would recommend it to anyone.
