The book is a softcover book and comes with black and white pages on the inside. It’s formatted like most of the Cleis Press erotic anthologies – extremely easy to read and navigate as well as come back to at a later date. The book has 225 pages and includes 21 different stories. This means that each story is an average of about ten pages. The front of the book shows a woman’s butt and naked legs and the back shows the same picture. As long as you could keep the cover hidden, you could easily read this book in public. However, since the title is so large, it could be obvious what you are reading, so you might want to take that into account.
I enjoyed the fact that each story had a good amount of plot to it as well as the sex scenes. I love my erotic stories to give me a good background about the characters, and this book does a great job of it. Unlike some other women’s erotica books which describe the sexual action in vague details, this book specifically describes the sexual action in an arousing manner. I think Violet Blue did a really great job of picking out some of the best women’s erotica out there.
The stories are all heterosexual in nature. There are no gay or lesbian stories included in this compilation. There is no specific “theme” to this book. Instead, all of the stories are just a selection of some of the best women’s erotica out there.
In one of the best stories of the collection “Voice of an Angel” by Teresa Noelle Roberts, the female character makes costumes for a set of a play. The lead vocalist sings amazingly, and the female ends up masturbating at home every night over his voice. When she has to custom measure the pants for this vocalist, things happen to get a bit out of hand when he gets an erection. A very sexy story with a great plot and long, drawn-out seduction.
In “Just Watch Me, Rodin” by Cate Robertson, a young female answers an ad in the local newspaper advertising for a model for art. This story follows the artist and the model while the artist asks her to do more extreme things including posing nude, holding sexual poses with another man, masturbating for the artist, and other kinky things. The story is written well, and we get to see into the mindset of the model after the artist asks her to do each new level.
In “The Upper Hand” by Saskia Walker, a woman finds that the two young men from the next door neighbor’s yard are looking through peepholes in the fence at her. She chooses to seduce them by laying out on her lawnchair nude and slathering lotion on herself. She uses a videocamera from her upstairs bedroom to tape across the fence and see their reaction. After watching the tape, she goes next door and asks the two boys to help her put up a bookshelf. Of course, this turns into a kinky threesome. It’s a very hot story.
For “Paid for Pleasure” by Adrie Santos, a woman answers a phone ad in which a man asks to visit a woman to give the woman oral sex – and even offers to pay for it. It’s a really short story, but I feel it’s worth mentioning because the plot is so unique.
In the story written by Donna George Storey, “Wet”, a young woman is studying in Japan. With the odd bathing rituals in Japan, she finds herself aroused by the idea of a strong Japanese man focusing her to “wash” herself because she’s dirty and force her to have sex. When she meets a Japanese boyfriend, this becomes a possibility. It has a great plot, and I enjoyed reading about the Japanese bathhouses.
I honestly have to say that this is easily one of my favorite erotica collections out there. It has a lot of different variety in the types of stories that were included, and the stories are all pretty hot. This is a great collection of erotic novels chosen by Violet Blue. If you enjoy erotica at all, I’m sure you’re going to find at least half of the book is extremely arousing to you.
