The CB-6000 The Curve Chastity Device is a plastic, male chastity device designed to keep any penis-toting people from touching their penis or allowing it to get hard. It can be purchased from FunWares sex toys. The cage itself is 3 3/4″ inches in length along with 1 1/2″ inches on the inner diameter, and it’s made from hard, rigid plastic. This kit includes quite a few things, and it includes everything you need to start on your chastity adventure straight out of the box. It includes the cage itself, locking pins and spacers, one brass padlock, five numbered plastic locks, a zippered storage bag, and five ring sizes.
The packaging for The Curve chastity device is pretty basic. It comes in a black and orange box that displays the chastity device plainly on the cover. It doesn’t show any genitals or any pictures of it in use, but you will get a good idea of exactly what this device is for. Inside, the chastity device is packaged inside a plain, discreet, zipper black bag inside individually-packaged baggies for each of the pieces. This zipper bag can be used to store The Curve, and you can throw away the box. This zipper bag is completely black with no tell-tale marks, so it’s very discreet. The packaging also comes with a single sheet of instructions as well.
The instructions are pretty basic. I actually wish that the instructions would include step-by-step pictures, with a penis, of how to put on the CB-6000. It’s not too difficult once you’ve figured it out, but as there’s only about five steps included in the instructions and it’s all text instructions, I feel that the instructions really would have benefitted from picture instructions. If might take a couple read-throughs of the text instructions to figure it out if this is your first male chastity device, but after the first couple read-throughs, you’ll know how to do it just fine.
The device is made from full plastic. The biggest difference between The Curve and other similar CB-6000 devices is the fact that The Curve allows for a longer flaccid penis to be caged. The Curve cage is longer and also more curved than the other cock cages. Also, if you’ve had issues with having too thick of a penis to fit into other cock cages, The Curve is about 1/8 of an inch larger in the inner diameter than other male chastity devices like the CB-6000, CB-3000, and CB-6000S. In order of size, from smallest to largest, the order is: CB-6000S, CB-3000, CB-6000, and The Curve.
To use The Curve, you first are going to want to lubricate the entire penis. The instructions recommend silicone-based lubricant, but that ends up working badly for us because it then makes the device more slippery and also is near-impossible to wash off while the penis is in the chastity device. Instead, we’ve been using a slick water-based lubricant.
Once you do that, you’re going to take a Ring that fits best. There are multiple sizes, so you want to try out to see which one easily fits the testicles and penis and is snug without being suffocating. The Curve includes five different ring sizes, so they’ll be one that fits you best. I recommend starting larger and working your way smaller to find the best fit. If things are too large, they’ll slip off of the penis after it’s been attached which defeats the point. We use the third smallest ring. Again, this ring goes at the very base of the penis and testicles up against the body.
There will be pins and rings that slide through the holes of this ring, but you’ll see the majority of that once you receive the item and start to put it together. It’s not hard to choose your spacers and locking pins, and you just have to choose the ones that match the Ring that you chose. Once you do that, you slide the penis into the cock cage itself, push the cage up against the Rings and the locking pins, and insert one of the locks into the hole, and ta da! You’ll have a full male chastity device for your use!
The Curve male chastity device actually comes with two types of locks. It comes with a metal lock and a key, and for the most part, this may want to be exactly what you want to use for the most part. It’s reusable, and only the keyholder would be able to unlock it (unless you manage to squeeze the device off of you). However, it also comes with plastic locks. Plastic locks can be snapped on easily and are cut off after you’re done with them. The plastic locks have numbers on them, so these seem most practical for travelling use as they won’t set off metal detectors and they also can be “tracked”. For example, in our home, if I wanted to leave the house or go on a business trip but leave him in chastity while I was gone, I’d use a plastic lock and note the number. That way, in an emergency, he can easily snip off the lock, but when I come back, if he’s changed the lock, I’ll know by the number. That’s really the point of the plastic locks.
The Curve male chastity device does keep the wearer from being able to stimulate themselves. It actually works pretty well. The holes in the plastic are enough for air and ventilation to get through but not enough to touch through. The device is weighty, but not too heavy, so you’ll notice that you’re wearing it, but it doesn’t feel painful. It does, however, slip off if you use too much lubricant, so make sure to use only as much lubricant as you need. We had issues the first couple times with using too much and being able to slip out, but now that we’ve learned better, things stay together a lot better.
I wouldn’t say that this is the most comfortable male chastity device for long-term use, but it doesn’t get uncomfortable too quickly. The boyfriend says that it definitely makes its presense known, but it doesn’t pinch or hurt too much. He mentions that it makes an obvious bulge in looser clothing, though, so that may be of a concern for you. He also says that it can almost make your skin feel a bit “tired” from carrying around the extra weight of the device, but it was more of an annoyance than any sort of pain.
To clean the CB-6000 The Curve male chastity device, you’ll want to use a mild soap and a soft brush (like a tooth brush). You’re not supposed to use hard household cleansers to clean it. For the male in chastity, the Curve includes hygienic holes built into the plastic to help make it easier for water to make it in during showers and for long-term wear. You’ll still want to remove it regularly to allow for circulation (and erections which are needed for your body’s health!), but The Curve’s hygienic holes do a pretty good job of allowing water in for body cleaning while wearing it.
Overall, if you have a longer-than-average flaccid penis and want to experiment with male chastity, The Curve is the male chastity sex toy that you’ll want to pursue. Once you learn how to put it on, it stays on pretty well, and it definitely keeps the person from being able to stimulate their penis. Just make sure you fit it correctly for your size and don’t use too much lubricant, and it stays on pretty well. Thanks to FunWares for providing this male chastity device for my The Curve review.
