The Hold On To Me kegel muscle balls are a set of varying weight kegel balls with two different silicone sleeves to customize your vaginal workout to your own preferences and strengths. This set is sold by Babeland Sex Toys. The vaginal exercise weight can vary from 25g to 75g depending on what combination of weight you use. Each one of the weights is made from plastic and inserts into the single or double silicone sleeves.
The packaging was honestly a bit of a disappointment. The outside of the box reminded me a bit of a LELO box because it seemed really nice quality, and the design was really pretty. Inside, the lid itself opens up to displays the toys sitting in a cardboard tray that is loosely covered with satin where the balls sit. The balls are pretty impossible to get out of this tray without pulling the tray up and poking out the balls from underneath, and when you do that, you’ll notice that it’s just a piece of fabric attached at the edges to a piece of cardboard. I just threw away that piece and will be keeping the kegel balls in the storage baggie that they come with. The packaging does look very pretty at first glance, though, but for long-term use, I’d say that it’d be easier to keep things in the satin storage bag.
This is a new line of toys from the Bedroom Kandi line which was created by Kandi Burruss together with OhMiBod. The full line includes vibes and other items, and it all features the pink and black color scheme with all of the products.
This set of kegel exercise balls gives you a couple different ways to use it. If you notice, this set comes with two silicone sleeves and four different weights. Each one of the balls is a different weight, and you can tell the difference from the back-side of each ball. There is a 25g, 30g, 35g, and 40g weight, and as there is a single-sphere silicone sleeve and a double-sphere silicone sphere, your weight usage can vary from 25g to 75g depending on how you do things.
The instructions included with the kegel balls do help quite a bit. They explain what the muscles are, why you should exercise them, how to use the Hold On To Me kegel balls, what the weights are, how to take care of your toy, and exercises you can do with your kegel balls. Like OhMiBod instructions, the instructions are very helpful – especially if you haven’t owned kegel balls in the past.
The balls are okay to interchange inside of their silicone sleeves. The plastic kegel weights were not meant for use outside of the silicone sleeves – mostly because there are “indentations” in the plastic where the silicone sleeve should rest at, and those indentations really can not feel very pleasurable when inserted, so just stick to using them with the sleeves. To remove the sleeves, getting a fingernail underneath the silicone sleeve makes it easy to remove. You kinda have to finangle to get the new plastic weight into the silicone sleeve, but if you work at it, the weight will go in relatively easily. Once it’s in the silicone sleeve, it’s near-impossible to remove from the sleeve unless you are attempting to remove it since the plastic balls do have “grooves” where the silicone sleeves sit.
Each one of the silicone sleeves includes a long, flexible silicone retrieval cord as well. This cord is pretty long and thin, and while I’ve pulled the crap out of it (poor string), it doesn’t appear to be breaking. I can get up to about a foot of pulling with it without it breaking, so despite it looking like it might break, it doesn’t appear that it actually will as long as you’re careful. The string itself is a bit long at about three inches, so it may hang out a bit longer than some of the other kegel ball exercisers you’ve used. Because it’s so thin and flexible, though, it really doesn’t get in the way nor is it bothersome in any way.
The Hold On to Me kegel balls are pretty good for use. I found that the lightest single weight was too light and unstimulating for me, but the heavier weights ended up giving more of a “filling” feeling and requiring more thought about keeping them in (thus working the muscles). I found that the Hold On to Me kegel exercisers tend to slide out more easily than other kegel balls I’ve used. I think this is partly because the silicone sleeves are flush with theballs themselves and the fact that the balls themselves are made from plastic; I think this gives the balls a bit less “texture” to them, so they’re harder to naturally grip onto. This does give you a bit more of a work-out, though, but it also means you may not be able to take the same amount of weight with the Hold On to Me as you would with other kegel exercisers.
This particular set of kegel balls is semi-similar to the Luna Beads from LELO. The biggest difference is that the Hold On to Me set includes four different-weight kegel balls while the Luna bead set just includes two sets of the same weights. With the Luna Beads, also, the silicone sleeves sit “above” the balls themselves and hold the balls in. With the Hold On To Me set, the silicone sleeve is actually flush with the plastic of the kegel balls which gives a different feel to it.
In comparison to all other kegel exercise ball sets, this one is about on-par with the weights. Luna Beads go from 56g to 74g in weight, and the JeJoue Ami set goes from 47g to 106g. This means that the Hold On To Me kegel balls have more versatility than both the JeJoue Ami set and the LELO Luna Beads, but they also do not reach the higher weights that the JeJoue Ami set will reach.
Cleaning these is pretty simple. You’ll want to take each of the plastic balls out of their silicone sleeves for the best cleaning. It can be easily cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap, and allow each piece to dry thoroughly before putting them back in storage. For lubricant, you’ll want to se a water-based lubricant for the best results. The silicone sleeves do pick up a bit of lint and fuzzies, so I recommend storing this in the satin storage bag that the kegel balls come with.
Overall, the Hold On to Me kegel exerciser balls are a good set of exercisers. I’m not sure if I would recommend them as fantastic ones for a beginner (just because they tend to slide out more which might be frustrating for a beginner), but for someone had has had a bit of experience with vaginal exercises and wants a way to vary up exactly what they want – when they want, the Hold On to Me kegel balls are really cute and they do a good job. Thanks to Babeland Adult Toys for sending me these kegel exercisers for my Bedroom Kandi Hold On To Me review.
