The Kinklab Butt Plug Harness with Cock Ring is a leather harness made by Kinklab and sold by FunWares. The harness includes a nickle-plated cock ring and is made with three locking buckles. It fits a 28″ to 44″ waist , and all three straps are adjustable.
The packaging for the Kinklab Butt Plug Harness with Cock Ring is similar to other Kinklab pouch packaging. This butt plug harness comes in a flexible plastic bag with a button closure. There is a piece of cardboard that shows a picture of the harness and of the features of the Kinklab butt plug harness. This pouch is completely see-through, so it doesn’t store the harness discreetly, but it will keep the leather from shedding on other items. It includes a plastic D-ring, so you can hang this up if you wanted.
The Kinklab Butt Plug Harness with Cock Ring‘s design shows that Kinklab definitely tried out their product and added in all of the features that bring it from “okay” to “wow!”. All of the buckles on the butt plug harness are locking buckles for extra bondage fun. The cock ring itself uses snaps, so you can change it out with another cock ring. Both the waist straps and crotch strap can be lengthened and shortened. There is a snap thatholds the butt plug holder piece on, so you can unsnap the snap to switch out/take out your butt plug instead of having to take off the entire harness. The crotch strap was made thinner than the waist straps for extra comfort. It definitely shows that Kinklab put some good thought into this product.
Something to be aware of is that the leather of the Kinklab Butt Plug Harness with Cock Ring does shed little fluffs of leather for awhile after you first own it. Once you’ve had it and used it a couple times, it will stop shedding as much, but at first, the black dots will show up on white fabrics, so you may not want to wear this with white clothing or play with it on white sheets if the leather pieces will both you. They don’t stain or anything, but they can be a pain to wipe up.
The Cock Ring on the front of the harness is a two inch cock ring. It’s also metal. Unless you are experienced with cock rings, I honestly do have a slight issue with this. Metal is very unforgiving and very hard to get fully “into” and out of. As the design of this harness pretty much requires that you use the cock ring around the base of your entire penis (instead of just at the base of the shaft) in order to fit comfortably, this means squeezing both balls through this metal ring – which is a scary thing to think about for unexperienced cock ring users. For experienced users, this two inch metal cock ring may work just fine. There is a saving grace of this though which only makes it slightly annoying: the cock ring itself can be switch out for other cock rings!
The neat thing about this cock ring is the fact that it can be exchanged out for another cock ring. There are snaps, much like a regular strap-on harness, that allow you to unsnap this cock ring and place other cock rings in its place. Cock rings similar to metal harness rings may work best for the design of this harness, or if you want something more flexible, strap-on O-rings that are large enough in diameter would be more flexible and would still fit into the snap holes for this butt plug harness. Regular cock rings that have width to them will also fit into this butt plug harness – though it’ll be a tighter fit in the leather.
The butt plug pouch on the backside of the Butt Plug Harness with Cock Ring will hold a variety of dildos. It actually is two layers of leather. The inner-most layer has a small rectangle cut in the leather to “hold” ring-tailed butt plugs (like the Njoy Pure Plug) in. This layer also isn’t fully riveted on the sides, so if you wanted, you could squeeze a flared base inbetween the two layers (though it is very hard to do and depends on which butt plug you’re using). Both layers are thin, but both are study, so this will do a good job of keeping your butt plug inside your bum. It doesn’t stretch much either (again, a good thing).
Is the harness the most comfortable thing in the world? No, not really. The boyfriend says that the strap between the legs can get slightly uncomfortable – especially the first time he wore it. He says that the leather seems to be softening a bit as he wears it (Or maybe he’s getting used to it), so it’s becoming more comfortable over time. He does say that it’s not painful – it’s just really awkward as it’s something that he’s not used to. He mentions that if you do a ton of walking around (wearing this during an active job during the day), it might chaffe a bit though. (If you were to do this, make sure you choose a non-restraining cock ring size). As long as it’s tight (tighter than your jean’s belt as the jeans may snag on it and pull it down), he says that he has no issue with the harness pulling down and slipping off. He does mention that he makes it pretty tight, though, around his waist – to the point that it’s uncomfortable for bending over. The fact that it includes a cock ring does help to keep it tight against your body as well.
Does it hold your butt plug in though? Surprisingly, yes! As long as you have this butt plug harness fastened securely and tightly, he claims that it doesn’t seem to try and “push” itself out like a butt plug would normally if you weren’t wearing a harness. He says that, depending on your body, the harness’s butt plug area may not be in exactly the right spot, but he says that it still does a great job of holding in the plug – even if it’s off slightly like his is (due to anatomy differences and the fact that you can’t “move” the butt plug holder along the strap of leather). You can, however, shorten and lengthen the strap itself which does help a ton. It is impressive that this butt plug harness does hold in the toys really nicely though. Whether a ring base toy (we tried an Njoy Pure Plug) or a flared base toy (we tried the VixSkin Spur), this butt plug harness seems to keep both types in just fine.
Have a locking fetish? This harness can also be locked on! All three of the buckles (the two waist straps and the crotch strap) are all adjustable, and all three can also be locked on using the locking buckles that is uses. The buckles allow you to easily adjust the sizing of this harness, and with the locks on them, you can easily lock someone “captive” into this piece of bondage, too.
Cleaning this is a bit of a pain. This is leather, so it can not be sterilized. This means that this is fluid-bonded. Assuming that you use lubricant with your toys (like you should!), you’ll probably end up with some sort of lubricant on the harness. Leather shouldn’t be cleaned with soap and water, so you’ll want to just wipe it down with a damp washcloth and make SURE to let it air dry all the way. For this reason, it’s probably a one-person harness because bodily fluids are certainly going to get on the leather in one way or another. For best storage, let the leather sit out somewhere where it can air, but you can keep it in the storage pouch as well.
Overall, the Kinklab Butt Plug Harness with Cock Ring is an amazing butt plug harness. It’s adjustable in many ways, and while not extremely comfortable, it’s comfortable enough to wear to keep your butt plug in. It locks for extra bondage fun, and it keeps both flared and ringed base plugs in just fine. It does, however, come with a metal cock ring, and to use the harness, you have to use SOME sort of ring. However, the cock ring itself includes snaps to change out the ring, so if you aren’t use to using metal quite yet, you can change it out for your favorite type of cock ring. I also wish the leather didn’t shed quite so much, but it’s improving the longer we own it.
