The Pink Spanking Paddle is a suede and faux fur paddle designed and created by this sex toys store. It comes in multiple colors, but the one I received was in hot pink and black. One side of the paddle is faux fur while the opposing side is made of suede. At the end of the handle, there is a large D-ring that can be used for hanging up the paddle for storage.
It doesn’t come in any specific packaging. It came in a little plastic bag that included some instructions for care. Keeping those in mind, you should be able to throw away the packaging that the Pink Spanking Paddle comes in without any issue.
I actually am in love with the hot pink and black color. It’s near-impossible to find such a combination in most bondage gear. I will say that, in product pictures, the hot pink looks really, really pink, but in natural sunlight, it will end up as more of a deep purple than a hot pink. Once I took it out again for bright lights for the product pictures, though, you can definitely see the hot pink, so the color of your pink will depend on what lighting you’re in. Brighter lights tend to make it look more pink.
I love that this bondage paddle is double-sided. One side is covered in faux fur while the opposite side is covered with suede. Both sides use the rivets to hold the leather and faux fur together and the rivets outline the entire outside of the paddle as well as the handle. At the end of the handle, like shown in the pictures, is a large D-ring that works wonderfully for storing the paddle when you’re not using it. Because there are multiple layers of leather and multiple rivets in the handle, the handle does hold up really firmly while you’re gripping it, and it allows you to wield the paddle pretty easily. The faux fur side is really, really plushy and fur-like with it almost feeling like a rug is on the underside of your paddle. This paddle doesn’t feel cheap at all.
What you can’t tell from the pictures is that the paddle portion is not rigid. It’s actually an unique paddle because it’s really one of the very few paddles that we have that isn’t rigid. When you wiggle the paddle, the paddling portion actually will wiggle as well, so it isn’t a rigid paddle. This actually works out pretty well as it gives a unique paddling sensation compared to other paddles. The flexibility of the paddle portion will actually give you much more of a sting and a hit if you want to “pull back” and put all of your muscle into it since you’ll get the momentum going. If you want to do a lighter hit, the paddle doesn’t feel nearly as “firm” for more pain, so depending on what you want to do, you can get some very different results out of this paddle.
You can get some very different sensations depending on how you use the Pink Spanking Paddle. If you want a lighter, more moderate hit, you can use the center of the paddle. This way, it’s pretty equal as to the sensation you get. If you aim for using the side of the paddle closest to the handle, you’ll get some wrap-around with the tip of the paddle that can be very painful. Make sure you know what you’re doing before you attempt to do that. You also can use the very tip of the paddle which can definitely be painful. Because the tip of the paddle gets the chance to build momentum, you get the most “bang” for your buck if you are swinging in order to cause pain.
You can also vary the sensation by using the two different sides of the paddle. As you can imagine, the faux fur side is much, much more gentle than the suede side is. The faux fur side actually feels really soft while using it, and it feels more thuddy than stingy. With the suede side, as the rivets are much more easily felt and there isn’t any fur to cushion the hit, the suede side is much more intense and will be the side you want to be a bit more gentle with while playing.
Cleaning-wise, you’ll want to clean your Pink Spanking Paddle with a slightly damp washcloth. Do not use soap on it as it could harm the fur and the suede and leather. You can use a very-lightly-damp washcloth on the material though. Because of that, this paddle should only be shared between those you are fluid-bonded with, and you’ll want to keep it hanging up somewhere or a place where it can lay flat as you wouldn’t want to warp the leather or the suede by keeping it folded up.
Overall, if you want a spanking paddle that provides two different sensations and provides a different sensation than your average paddle due to its flexibility, the Pink Spanking Paddle does a wonderful job.
