The L’Intimate vibrator is a unique and discreet vibrator that is truly discreet – in fact, the traditional, plastic vibrator is hidden inside of the L’Intimate lint roller! It is available for purchase at MyPleasure Adult Toys. The vibrator is a long, slim traditional plastic vibrator that functions on two AA batteries. So, in total, the L’Intimate kit includes a 7″ Velvet Touch vibrator, 8 meters of adhesive paper for the lint roller, and the lint brush roller itself.
The packaging for the L’Intimate vibrator comes in a very fancy-looking cardboard box. The cardboard box does give you the instructions on how to operate and “find” your little Doc Johnson Velvet Touch vibrator inside the lint roller, and it looks very fancy and discreet – just like the roller itself. You can keep the set inside the box, but as the point of the set is to be discreet and stand on its own, there may be no purpose to keeping the box.
It’s actually impressive by how discreet this is. It compares really well to your “average” lint roller – except it is a little thicker in the handle. I’ve been around lint rollers all my life (an exciting life, right?), and I can tell you that this one is definitely pretty close to your average lint roller except for the thickness. I doubt anyone would even think twice about the thickness of your roller, though, and they might just think that you purchased a cheaper version of a regular lint roller. It does leave me wondering about the lint rolling refills though. At this point, I find no reason to actually use the lint roller, but if a guest actually DOES use your lint roller, and you end up running out of the lint roller sheets, I haven’t found a place to actually purchase refills to the lint rolling sheets themselves, so you may have to purchase an average lint roller refill or repurchase the entier L’Intimate lint roller vibrator.
It’s pretty easy to get at your vibrator when you want it, but it’s really hard to accidentally “discover” how to get inside it. I know because I tried to take a guess at how to do it before peeking at the backside, it was impossible. I think I almost broke the thing trying to pull it apart before I peeked at the instructions. For those out there who are looking at this vibrator, I won’t spoil it by telling you how to do it, but the instructions are on the backside of the vibrator’s box, and I promise, it’s a less-than-30-seconds procedure that can even be done when you’re really distracted (by what, I wonder?) It’s just as easy to put back together as well, but you may want to take out the batteries from the vibrator as the vibrator with batteries makes the lint roller suspiciously heavier than a normal one.
As a note, you MAY be able to use a different traditional vibrator inside of the lint roller okay. It will have to have similar dimensions to the Velvet Touch vibrator, and even then, unless it is exactly the same, the vibrator may not fit or it may move around inside of the lint roller’s secret compartment. For best results, stick with the included vibrator, but if you want to experiment, it’s possible.
So what about the included vibrator? I would recognize this vibrator anywhere! It’s a Doc Johnson Velvet Touch vibrator, and it requires two AA batteries. The vibrator is a dial-base vibrator, and it is made with plastic and includes the Velvet Cote plastic which makes it silky smooth to the touch. The vibrator is also waterproof, and it’s a traditional plastic vibrator which means that it is very rigid and does not have any softness or bendability to it. While my regular Doc Johnson Velvet Touch vibrators don’t have any scent to them, this Velvet Touch did come with a slight scent on the surface. I think this is because it was cooped up in the packaging for so long, and the scent did go away after a couple washes. Just make sure to wash your Doc Johnson Velvet Touch (like you always should!) before use.
The vibrations are certainly not the strongest, but they aren’t weak either. For a vibrator run by two AA batteries, the vibrations are on the stronger end of the moderate scale. They aren’t the quietest, but they aren’t loud either. I’d say that they can easily be heard in the same room, but it’d be hard to hear them outside of a closed door.
As I’ve previously said in my Velvet Touch review:
This is a great traditional vibrator for anyone who wants to try a vibrator or anyone that just wants to experiment with the Velvet Cote feel. The price mixed with the fact that it is so easy to use make it a great starting vibrator. It has great levels of vibration without all of the advanced features.
I still believe that is true. it is not the most advanced vibrator out there, but it is a basic, traditional vibrator that provides all of the features that someone would want in their basic vibrator at a very affordable price. Partnered with the fact that this Velvet Touch vibrator can fit into this lint roller to become even more discreet, I must admit that I’m definitely impressed!
Cleaning this vibrator is simple as it is waterproof. You just use warm water and antibacterial soap. You don’t need to worry about cleaning the L’Intimate lint roller itself as it shouldn’t be getting bodily fluids on it, so you just have to clean the toy and make sure the toy is clean and dry before placing it back into the lint roller vibrator case. The vibrator is compatible with all types of lubricant, and as it’s plastic, if you want to store it among lint and other materials, it won’t have a problem with that.
Overall, if you need a discreet and very hidden way to hide your vibrator when not in use, the L’Intimate lint roller does a fantastic job of that. It’s pretty impossible to tell that there is a vibrator inside, and the vibrator itself is a pretty good vibrator as well. It’s a little bit on the pricey side, but if you really need a good way to store your toy so no one knows, the L’Intimate does that job well. Thanks to MyPleasure for sending me this vibrator for my L’Intimate review.
