The Satin Silk Brief is one of the crossdressing panties available from XDress. (They also have a fine selection over at Body Aware!) The panties are made of a soft, satin/silk material, and they come in pink, black, and blue. They also come in sizes Small through 2XL, and a size chart is available on their website. The panties are specifically created with the male body (and genitals!) in mind, but they could also be used for women who enjoy packing.
Now, as I’m sure you know, my partner is a crossdresser. This means that we are regularly purchasing female panties from stores and such for him to wear. However, those panties were just not made for men, the penis, and the testicles. There just isn’t enough fabric around the crotch area to really hold everything in comfortably without something hanging out (unless you do a lot of adjusting). I’d honestly never considered specially-made crossdressing panties up until this point, but when you think about it, they make sense!
For one, they are created with the male genitals in mind. This means that the panties include extra fabric in the front of the panties. Where normal feminine panties wouldn’t have the fabric (which makes the genitals “fall” out), these have the extra fabric so the male genitals can stay enclosed in the panties. Along with that, the panties don’t have as much fabric in the butt area, so panties don’t appear saggy for those with less of a curvy butt, and instead, they appear form-fitting which panties the panties look very flattering!
For another, they are soft! I think it’s something with a lot of crossdressers, but they tend to enjoy softer materials. I suppose it makes sense; guys don’t usually get to dress up in satin, silk, and other silky materials.
The boyfriend absolutely loves them. He says that, since there’s more room for everything, they are much more comfortable than his current female-intended panties. He also loves how soft they are. He mentions that they happen to be softer on the outside of the panties than on the inside of the panties, but he does mention that the panties are still soft on the inside as well. There is a small tag in the back side of the panties, but the boyfriend mentions that it doesn’t get in the way nor is it scratchy. The panties have a fair bit of stretch to them, and there’s extra material near the front portion (where the crotch would be) to make it more comfortable for a male to wear. The material of the crossdressing panties is relatively thin, and it does let air pass through really nicely, so the boyfriend doesn’t feel like he’s sweating or insulated when wearing the panties.
There are also frills that surround the outer edges on the entire panty. These frills match the color of the panty, and they are small (about 1/4 inch in length). They certainly do not make a mark under clothes unless you happen to be wearing women’s, thin yoga pants. With regular guy clothing or jeans, though, the frills will not show under clothing, and they certainly add a cute aspect to the panties when the clothing is removed!
Cleaning is one of those fuzzy matters. I know what I should do (which is handwash and hang dry), but we honestly don’t have the time to do all of that. Instead, we’ve had plenty of luck just putting them in a lingerie bag on a softer washing cycle. It seems to have worked okay for the panties, but I definitely do recommend getting them in a lingerie bag or something as a zipper could catch on the material and harm your beautiful crossdressing panties.
Overall, these are fantastic! They sit low on the hips, they look sexy, and they provide the extra material that a male-bodied person needs for comfortably-fitting panties. The panties flatter the butt in a nice way, and it makes the butt look firm and curvy. The frills on the outer edges add a sexy touch, and the panties seem like they are going to hold up for a long time. The boyfriend loves how soft they are, and he’s been wearing them quite often lately. Thanks to XDress for providing these crossdresser panties for my Satin Silk Brief review.
