Tantus Leisure Vibrating Silicone Dildo Review

Tantus Leisure Vibrating Silicone Dildo
The packaging and the Leisure

The Tantus Leisure Silicone Vibrator is a dildo and vibrator set made by Tantus. This is a Tantus dildo that is made from 100% pure silicone that is body-safe. If memory serves me correctly, Tantus has discontinued the copper color as well, but it’s a surprisingly pretty color, so I do like it. The Leisure is about seven inches long, and at the widest point, it has a diameter of a bit over an inch. The base includes an average-sized bullet hole to add vibrations to the dildo itself.

The packaging of this Tantus dildo resembles most Tantus packaging. It comes in a clear box that shows off the dildo really nicely. It doesn’t work too well for discreet storage as it shows off the product, and it also is a bit bigger than the dildo, so it might not work well for long-term storage. I tossed mine after I took the dildo out. It does give care and cleaning instructions as well though which is nice.

The Leisure is completely smooth, and it has no extra texture on it. It curves very slightly for a good g-spot stroking, but it isn’t too rigid, so the dildo will right itself as straight when too much pressure is applied. The dildo will bend in half without too much issue, so as you can tell, that’s pretty flexible. It is not one of the firmest types of silicone out there. I also like the Copper color on it. It’s a metallic copper that is surprisingly shiny, but it doesn’t look like a dull copper. It’s definitely pretty.

Like previously stated, this dildo includes a bullet hole in the base. This allows you to slide in the included bullet to make your dildo vibrate. This is just a standard-sized bullet hole, and as such, it will fit any standard-sized bullet – not just the one that Tantus includes. As I’ve learned my hard lesson before, make SURE you put a dab of lube into the bullet hole before you actually insert the bullet. If you don’t, the bullet can definitely get stuck, and we have a coupld Tantus dildos that we just can’t, for the life of us, get the bullet out. The ones where we put lube in first have no issue though, so just remember that before you insert it.

The included bullet is a one-speed bullet. It’s a pretty high-pitched, buzzy vibration. When inserted, most of the vibration is felt in the base of the toy, so it ends up being most pleasurable for the wearer. However, a bit of the vibrations end up being transferred through the body of the dildo as well. The vibration is very quiet and couldn’t be heard outside a closed door, and it is a moderate-strength vibration, so don’t expect too much strength from it.

This dildo is harness compatible. It does slip into most harnesses pretty nicely. The base feels a bit small for it, and I always worry that it’s going to be too droopy, but no matter what I do, it isn’t too bad. With the curved end pointing up, the dildo does make itself “straight” from gravity pulling on it, but it does not droop at all. The dildo’s base also works well to keep the dildo sitting upright. The dildo will sit upright on any surface without too much of an issue. It doesn’t knock over easily, and the curve doesn’t unbalance it either.

Where does this dildo excel? It isn’t the most interesting of the design, and it didn’t hit the g-spot for me, but I think it excels in just being a plain, introductory dildo that happens to be long enough for harness-use as well. It looks a bit like the Silk series, but it’s a lot longer which makes it better for harness use. In terms of thickness, it’s about the same size as the Silk Large, so again, if you’ve had the Silk series and want to upgrade to something larger, this dildo is there to help you out! It doesn’t have any fancy texture or fancy features, but it’s just a plain dildo that’s there to provide sensation while being both in the average range of girth and length. It’s a good dildo for that.

For cleaning, this dildo just needs warm water and antibacterial soap. Like all Tantus toys, this one can be sterilized by boiling it or by washing it in the top shelf of the dishwasher. It does tend to pick up quite a bit of lint and such if left out, so be careful where you store it to avoid getting fuzzies on it. For my storage, I’m going to keep it in the original packaging. Because this is a silicone dildo, it’s compatible with water-based lubricants, and it also works well with HIGH quality silicone lubricants, but again, if you’re concerned, spot test before you go all-out with your lubricant.

I do like the Leisure, and I think it looks gorgeous in the copper color. It’s a beautiful dildo that does an amazing job of providing a good, filling sensation without any of the frills of some dildos. The vibrating aspect is definitely a plus, and the base makes it harness compatible too. Check out Tantus after reading my Tantus Leisure Silicone Vibrating Dildo review.
