System JO Clitoral Stimulation Wild Gel
The packaging for the clitoral gel

The System JO Clitoral Stimulation Gel in Wild is a small, 10 cc squirt bottle of the gel that provides a tingling sensation on the clitoris in order to arouse the person using it. It’s safe for use with condoms, but be careful with use with silicone toys. The bottle is supposed to last up to 50 uses which seems pretty accurate to me. It’s PH-balanced and includes no L-Arginine. In order to use the tube, you do have to have scissors handy, so make sure to include that before you play. This gel is made by System JO.

The packaging for the Clitoral Stimulation Gel is pretty neat. It’s a little cylinder-like box where both ends fold in to hold in the little tube. It includes instructions for use and ingredient information in a couple different languages on the back of the box. There’s really no reason to keep the box once you’ve taken the gel out, but you’re free to if you want to.

System JO has a couple different clitoral stimulation gels in different sensations and intensities, so if one doesn’t work for you, don’t give up! After all, not everyone requires the same amount of stimulation, so System JO did a great job by making different intensities in order to work with a variety of people. There’s the Light gel, the Mild gel, the Mild gel, and the Atomic gel. So if one is too intense or not intense enough, you just move up or down in the chain in order to find the one you want.

I can’t say I like the smell. This gel definitely smells like mint, and fun fact about me: I actually hate the smell and the taste of mint. I’m one of the few people on the planet who feels that way (based upon the toothpaste selection at my local stores). I wasn’t very fond of the smell, though, so it didn’t get off to a good start with me. It takes a very small amount to apply, and while the liquid is pretty darned runny, it’s not too messy, and you’ll be able to get it on the area pretty easily.

The instructions are pretty basic. You apply this stimulation gel, and it should take about 3-5 minutes from the initial application to start to feel the effects of the stimulation gel. From there, it should last another 45 minutes before it requires another reapplication. For us, we never had to reapply since once usually did the trick just fine, and neither of us really wanted to mess with the gel twice. However, we were a bit annoyed that the peppermint smell stays throughout your entire play session, so if you want to use this, you should enjoy the smell of mint.

The gel itself

How was the sensation? It definitely tingles! It took a bit to start up, but once it got started, it was a bit intense. It honestly was probably a bit on the weaker side for me, but I felt this one a lot better than I felt the Mild formula. It didn’t feel greasy afterwards, but it did feel pretty slick. We made sure to use a small amount, so it was pretty easy to wipe up, but it does require some warm water and soap as it does have some silicone elements.

The sensation isn’t really arousing, but it’s definitely an interesting sensation compared to no sensation at all. It gets the most intense about five minutes after applying, and it usually gets pretty unnoticable after about 25 minutes to the point where, if you’re doing something else, you won’t notice the sensation. It’s a weird sensation though, and it does add something to your sex life once in awhile, but this is not something I would rely on to regularly arouse me.

The ingredients in this gel are: Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclotrasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Dimethicone, Peppermint (Mentha Piperita), Oleoresins Capsicum. I honestly can’t say that I see anything about the ingredients, but then again, I don’t even know what half of those ingredients are. I did not experience any rash or irritation though.

Overall, I like the Clitoral Stimulation Gel, but I wouldn’t really call it arousing. It’s much like using a new sex toy; it helps to get you more excited about the idea of sex and sex itself, but in and of itself, it isn’t arousing. It seems to be powerful enough to be there without being too strong, though, so I think I found the right strength for me. Thanks to System JO for sending this clitoral gel to me for my JO Clitoral Stimulation Gel Wild review.
