Pink Water Lube Review

Pink Water Lube
The front of the bottle

Pink Water is a water-based lubricant. The bottle is made completely of plastic which makes it less likely to get hurt if dropped. The bottle includes 3.3 ounces of the water-based lubricant. If you couldn’t guess, “Pink” is a lubricant intended for use on vulvas. Pink Water does include Aloe Vera for moisturizer.

The bottle is made entirely of plastic and has a slight curve towards the center to make it easier to hold – even if your hands have lubricant on them. The bottle itself looks really pretty, and while it’s obvious what it’s for if someone would examine it, it doesn’t look sexual just by appearance. The pump-top dispenser works great for dispensing the lubricant, so you don’t have to worry too much about messing around with the bottle and trying to open it. The bottle rests easily on flat surfaces, and we haven’t had any problems with the bottle leaking either which is great.

The ingredient list: Water, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Ale Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Methylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea, Propylparaben, Sodium benzoate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Paullinia Cupana (Guarana) Seed Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Extract, Polysorbate-20, PEG045M, Polyquarternium-5, Aspartame. Some people experience irritation with parabens and I’m honestly not sure what aspartame is doing in here, but aside from that, the ingredients look pretty safe. It’s also worth mentioning that Pink Water is glycerin-free which is an irritant for many women.

Backside of the bottle

The lubricant is pretty thick. It’s not like water at all. It’s easy to pour, but at the same time, it’s pretty thick so it doesn’t run all over the place. This makes it easy to pour, but it stays in the place you pour it without slipping all over the place until you move it yourself. When placed, it also has no distracting odor, so it’s basically like an addition your own lubrication that only helps – never hinders.

Like all water-based lubricant, the Pink water will require reapplication if your session is going to be a long one. However, it doesn’t seem to require as much reapplication as some of the other water-based lubricants I’ve tried. It seems to last a long time which is always a good thing – I don’t like having to reapply the lubricant. We only had to apply the lube the initial time for both of the sex sessions we tried this with – It definitely lasts a long time. It’s very light and smooth, and it honestly only requires a small dab of it to get full use out of it – we only used a quarter-sized amount for all of our lubrication needs for one session. As such, this bottle can last a very, very long time just because you use so little of it.

After use, it was really easily to clean up – and honestly didn’t feel greasy if you chose not to clean it up. I can’t say I honestly noticed any softer skin or anything due to the Aloe, but it also wasn’t irritating either.

Since this is water-based lubricant, it does wash off pretty easily with some soap and water. It doesn’t seem to leave a stain on any fabrics (specifically my t-shirt), but I wouldn’t toss it onto any of my BDSM toys. Since the bottle doesn’t seem to leak, you should be able to take this with you traveling or keep it hidden away in a drawer with no problem.

Pink Water is a nice, light, long-lasting lubricant with which a little goes a long way. It’s safe with all different kinds of sex toys and perfect for vaginal use. I wouldn’t recommend it for anal use because it’s just too light and not thick enough, but for everything else, this is a great lubricant that’s probably going to quickly become a favorite.
