FunFactory Spring Vibrator Review
The Spring Vibe

The Spring Vibe is a small vibrator from the mini-vibe series from FunFactory sold by Babeland Sex Toys. The Spring is made from soft, silicone and features little textures of flowers throughout the body of the toy. The Spring is a rechargeable toy and is a little over five inches long with a diameter of about an inch and a forth. This is basically meant as a clitoral vibrator because of the short length though I’m sure some women would enjoy using it as an insertable vibe. This should not be used anally because of the lack of a flared base.

The packaging for the Spring is really basic. I’m not sure if it’s how Babeland ships it or just because of how FunFactory makes it, but the charger for the vibrator comes in a separate box. I thought it was odd, but the charger works fine, and when it’s sold like this, you can get the vibrator cheaper since you purchase the charger separately. And if you want other mini-vibes from the FunFactory series, the charger will work with all of them, so that’s always a good thing. Either way, the packaging is classy, and the Spring Vibe itself comes in a slide-out tray that will work well for long-term storage. An instruction book as well as a full-color page of other FunFactory products is included.

Showing the packaging for the Vibe

Like stated before, the Spring is rechargeable. No hunting down batteries for you. Since this is their new line of magnetically-rechargeable vibrators, you just plug in the charger then the charger lines up with the base of the Spring Vibe. It’s a bit finicky, but it’s nothing too frustrating to deal with. When it lines up, the charger will glow “red” to indicate that it’s charging. The first charge is supposed to take 3 hours, but honestly, I think mine just charged for an hour. When it’s done charging, the light will just stop glowing red. According to the instructions, it should run an hour and a half on a single charge. Like stated before, the charger should work with other FunFactory Mini-Vibe toys as well including the Flash Vibe and Bubbles Vibe.

A neat feature of the Spring is that it’s waterproof. Completely. Since this charges magnetically, there are no holes at all that lead into the vibrator, so you don’t have to be worried about water. I’ve fully submerged it quite a few times for cleaning and use, and no adverse effects at all. Plus, since it’s the soft, some-what grippy silicone, it makes it pretty easy to hold onto during use even underwater.

The silicone on this definitely produces some drag. It feels like other FunFactory silicone. Without lubricant, this would probably not be very comfortable during insertion. It produces enough drag to make this comfortable to grip during use. It basically shares the same type of silicone as the other FunFactory mini-vibes. Like stated before, the body of the vibrator does have a couple flowers etched into it. The body is slightly flat towards the top and gets rounder towards the base. The silicone of the toy has a bit of flexibility to it, but really, it’s going to keep its shape. It feels like the silicone was just added around the base motors which means it won’t bend much.

The length of the vibrator

As a neat feature that I love, the buttons of the vibrator are actually part of the silicone itself – no separate buttons. This means that the buttons don’t really get too horribly slick with lubrication. It’s controlled by two buttons: a + and a -. The “-” is slightly smaller in size and less pronounced on the surface of the toy. The “+” is much more pronounced and larger in size which makes this extremely easy to locate the controls during use without looking.

The vibrations are relatively strong for such a small clitoral toy. I was impressed. It was more than I needed. I had it turned to a medium setting and didn’t feel the need to turn it up any higher. I wouldn’t call it Hitachi-strength, but the vibrations are nice and deep which makes them seem really strong. Since the body of the vibrator has squish (but not an excessive amount) this makes it perfect for those of us who really love applying pressure during use. Really, though, I didn’t find myself wanting more power out of it which is amazingly rare for me. Along with the strength, the vibrator is relatively quiet. It could be heard in the same room, but it wouldn’t be heard outside of a closed door.

I basically used this vibrator for clitoral use. While I’m sure some people would enjoy inserting this, I found the small size to be much easier for me for clitoral use. The flower texture wasn’t noticed too much during use, but I did notice the drag of the silicone – it was nice. Plus, the vibrations transfer amazingly well through the body of the silicone, and honestly, I can’t come up with much of anything in terms of a complaint about the toy. I’ve got nothing. It’s an amazing vibrator and works amazingly as a clitoral vibrator. It provides everything I’d want out of my external sex toy, and it does it well. It’s easy to hold onto, strong, relatively quiet, and pretty cute with the flower patterns too. For insertion, it wouldn’t do much for most people’s g-spots since it’s so straight and short, but if that’s what you like, then just make sure to use some good lubricant as well.

For storage, you can keep it in the original box. If you so choose, it can also be stored elsewhere. For cleaning, you don’t have to be careful about water, and antibacterial soap and hot water will clean it right up. For sharing, use a condom to make it easier to clean-up. For lubricant, use water-based lubricant as silicone-based could end up harming your toy.

I ended up loving my Spring Vibe from Babeland Toys. It’s a strong vibrator that’s small enough to be extremely easy to store while still providing the strength I need for use. It’s easily one of my favorite clitoral vibrators, and it’s cute as well. I love it enough that I’m looking into getting some of the other FunFactory Mini-Vibes. So if this sounds like a good vibrator for you, check out Babeland Toys for your own Spring Vibe.
