The Red Acrylic Paddle JR is made from a strong, 1/4 thick layer of acrylic plastic. It’s sold by Cane-IAC. The paddle itself is about four inches wide and is a foot long (including the handle). The entire surface of the red paddle is very slick and non-textured, and this paddle also comes in different colors (including clear) as well as can also come with holes. The handle comes with a nice, strong no-slip material covering it which makes it easy to hold the paddle. There is a hole at the bottom of the handle where a string hangs through and makes it very easy to hang it on the back of a door for storage.
There isn’t really any specific packaging for this paddle. It does come with a small tag hanging off of the hanging string that is extremely easy to cut off. The tag does let you know where the paddle came from so you can purchase another if you want to.
The handle is definitely nice and big for a variety of hand sizes. I happen to have a medium-large-ish hand, and it fits perfectly in mine. However, since it’s so long and large, it’d work just fine for those with larger hands as well. The handle isn’t perfectly square nor perfectly round, so it does end up being a bit awkward to hold, but it’s nothing that you don’t get used to quickly. The paddle is a bit heavier than it would look like at first glance, but it’s nothing compared to the heft of most other paddles, so it should actually feel pretty light compared to other paddles. (It is compared to mine.) There isn’t any flexibility to the paddle portion itself, so it’s extremely easy to control, and if you set out to hit a specific portion of the body, it should hit withot any problems in aim.
The paddle was obviously made with quality in mind. The acrylic paddle portion was nicely filed down along the edges to make sure that there were no rough edges to cut the bottom. Along with this, the acrylic was nicely shined to give it a gorgeous appearance. The material of the handle seems to be nice and high-quality and shows forethought since it makes it really easy to grasp the paddle no matter what your previous activities had been. The paddle portion is firmly attached to the handle itself, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to come out at all. This is easily one of the nicest and most “professional” looking paddles that I actually own.
The neat thing about this paddle is how versatile it can be. If used gently (think “bedroom” paddle), this thing is much more thuddy and ends up being not-so-painful on the skin. If used that gently, it might bring a red blush to the skin, but it isn’t going to feel painful, and it will end up being fun for the top to wield.
However, when used roughly, this paddle can be mean. It can leave quite a bit of a sting (think like the palm of your hand) and it can definitely cause a red blush to the skin. If paddle roughly enough for long enough, it can leave some bruising as well. It doesn’t end up scratching since the sides of the paddle are nicely finished, but it still will end up being one of those toys that really provides a nice thuddy sensation while still being stingy and painful which is always fun. Because of these two different sensations, you can also purchase this knowing that it will be fun to use when you want stingy as well as when you want a softer, thuddy sensation.
The paddle doesn’t have sort of flexibility to it, so it lands exactly as it is swung. This will make the paddle more painful, but it also means you can use it more accurately and with more force since you know it’s going to land where it is aimed. Because of the short length, it’s absolutely perfect for over-the-knee spankings and could also be used with the bottom sitting next to you or in a near vicinity.
Cleaning this paddle should be easy. You just have to take a warm washcloth and some antibacterial soap and wipe down the paddle. Both the paddle and handle can be wiped down this way. Because of how stingy and rough this paddle *can* be, I recommend only using it on the butt unless you are experienced enough to try it elsewhere. Even if you are experienced though, I don’t think a a bottom would enjoy this quite as much because of the stingy factor if used on other parts of the body. For storage, I keep mine hanging on the hook on the back of my door.
The Red Acrylic Paddle JR is a high-quality paddle that looks amazing and stands out in a crowd of toys. It is beyond affordable as well as it will hold strong despite lots and lots of use. It can provide both a nice, thuddy sensation as well as some nice sting depending on how it is used.
