While most sex toys aren’t cheap, sex dolls happen to be one of the most expensive out there.
From the material that it takes to make them all the way down to the cost of shipping an 80-pound object, sex dolls are an investment – just like sex and BDSM furniture or sex machines can be.
With that in mind, as I’ve slowly grown my own collection, I’d like to rank some of the sex dolls I own. As most dolls excel in some areas, instead of ranking these dolls on a scale from 1 to 10, I’ll be showcasing my favorites based on why we primarily love them. Best Sex Doll for Realistic Detailing
The Yeloly Tonya has to take the top spot for realistic details. A silicone sex doll, the level of detail in this love doll is literally unbelievable. I seriously can not believe how lifelike it looks. I sent some close-up photos to friends when we received it, and they thought I was playing with a new play partner. It looks THAT real.
From barely-visible blue veins along the inner thighs to actual birthmarks to visible hair follicles and the literal, visible squamous cells of skin all over the doll, it’s absolutely breathtaking.
The detailing is so hot; I especially love the look of sliding a shaft in-between the labia, watching as every inch slides inside.
That being said, with the silicone material (which is going to last you longer than TPE!), the doll’s butt doesn’t jiggle as much as other sex dolls’. We love this one because it genuinely feels like we have a new person in our bed; we’d pick a different doll for jiggle physics, but this one remains the top pick for visuals. We almost exclusively use this one vulva-side-up.
Best Sex Doll for Compact – but Lifesize – Ratios
After owning quite a few sex dolls, I’m finding that we’re essentially searching for the holy grail. We love having “life size” dolls, but we simultaneously hate moving around “lifesize” sex dolls. Moving something that’s 70 pounds is NOT an easy feat – especially when it’s wet and wiggly after going into the shower for cleaning.
That’s why we’ve been looking for that holy grail – something that’s realistically ratio’d while being simultaneously easier to move around.
We’ve found that recently in the Salorein Sabrina. This TPE sex doll features electronic, motorized pleasure features inside of its TPE shell. This makes the doll feel very “firm” to pick up and move around. It feels like a layer of TPE material surrounding a firm, interior core everywhere on the doll except the one penetratable tunnel. That’s been fantastic for us.
The doll’s height is not quite life size, but all of the doll’s areas are in proportion, making the doll feel like an adult with enough “heft” to it to make it feel like really pushing into something present.
Best Sex Doll for Breast Jiggling
The manufacturer Tantaly trademarked their “Tantabosom” technology, and I’d say that’s probably where my favorite realistic jiggling is at. In particular, I’ve liked the Tantaly Hannah. Every thrust jiggles the breasts which keep “jiggling” long after the rest of the doll has stopped moving.
Essentially, their Tantabosom technology fills the breasts with a lighter-weight gel that moves separately from the rest of the sex doll. This lets the breasts move around independently from the doll itself and gives them a natural bounce with skin that ripples with every thrust.
It’s worth noting, though, Tantabosom breasts are more fragile than standard sex doll material. If you’re someone who really pushes sex doll breasts around or stores your sex dolls face-down, Tantabosom breasts are going to degrade/warp faster than standard sex doll breasts.

Best Sex Doll for Butt Jiggling
As of right now, I wouldn’t say any of our sex dolls are big stand-outs for realistic butt jiggling. I’m keeping an eye out.
Best Sex Doll for a Realistic Body Type
We’re kinda in love with the Ppunson Veronica for its realistic body type. Honestly, I’d love to see this body type (and more) on the majority of sex dolls; the “perfectly toned stomach with perfect hips” is fun for a bit, but when it’s the only body type sex dolls represent, it gets a little…one note.
The Veronica has more of an “I work out but I’m also an average person” body type. With large, hanging breasts and a small tummy that protrudes on the doll, it looks more realistic. When you push the thighs back towards the sex doll’s shoulders, some of that design folds, giving you some realistic tummy rolls that look like a real human.
For anyone who loves a puffier mons pubis, this sex doll has that as well.
Best Sex Doll Storage System
If you want discreet storage shipped right alongside the doll, absolutely no one beats Tantaly and Salorein. Their sex dolls ship in a black, plain PVC bag that perfectly fits the styrofoam shell that stores your sex doll.
These bags are awesome because they:
- Are plain black. Literally plain. The most boring bag on the history of the planet with no markings at all. A+ discretion.
- Include two zippers. You can easily lock-up these two zippers to prevent anyone from separating the zippers, making it impossible to open up the storage bag.
- Have nylon, sewn-in handles on both sides. There’s a padded grip where they meet in the middle, making it much easier to move your doll around.
- Include a large, zip-up storage compartment on the side of the bag. This could easily fit other full-sized sex toys, but it easily fits the instruction booklets and sex doll cleaning supplies.
