The I Rub My Duckie Travel-Size Bondage Duckie came packaged in a nice, not-too-wasteful package that warns me “Duck Me if you know what’s good for you”. I think this cute little guy just threatened me.
The inside of the packaging includes three different instructions. One for the duck’s tips and tricks, one advertising the other duck’s friends, and another for the safety instructions for the toy. The little instruction guide includes information about how to use your duckie for the best satisfaction, a note from the manufacturers, and information on how to enter their monthly contest for a free Big Teaze toys product. They recommend things like “double ducking” and “tail slide and wiggle”.
The first thing that I noticed about the travel duckie is its battery compartment. Maybe I just enjoy convienence, but I found the battery compartment to be just plain annoying. You have to slide a coin into the slot and push it around. If my vibrator’s batteries die, I don’t want to have to hunt for a coin to open the battery slot to change the batteries. It does take just one AAA battery so it isn’t too big of a battery hog. To turn the duckie on, you just have to slide a little annoying switch to the “on” side. It must be made for women who have short fingernails because I find moving the switch to be beyond annoying especially when the toy is already vibrating.
Speaking of vibrations, the little duckie only has one speed. For being a AAA battery toy, it actually has pretty decent vibrations. It probably matches most of my “medium” settings on my other AA and C battery toys. However, because of the one vibration level, it probably isn’t good for much warm-up because it doesn’t get much softer. His vibrations are pin pointed at his head and his tail, so those the best spots to look for if you want pinpointed vibrations.
He is a very, very loud little duckie, though. I can’t imagine trying to be even semi-stealthy with this little guy. Even with a firm hold on him, he’s still really loud. He can easily be heard through a bedroom door without any problem. He is not for the person who wants secrecy for their vibrations.
Personally, I bought him because he’s adorable. My boyfriend and I practice BDSM, and we thought it was adorable to have a bondage duckie. I think he’s probably just going to sit on the self, and when people are amused by him, we’re going to show that he vibrates as well. We have the bondage duck, so this really isn’t much of a discreet toy. If you bought one of the regular ducks, though, you could easily leave him out without anyone being suspicious.
Oh yeah – he’s a duck. And yes, he does float. It’s kinda sad floating, but he does float. He’ll kinda just fall over sideways into the water, but no harm is done to the battery compartment, so he’s definitely waterproof as well.
He is not to be inserted vaginally or anally. He’s obviously not the right nor shape to do either of those things. He’s mostly meant for massages and external use.
If you’re looking to get this as a vibrator, there are much better qualityvibrators out there. However, if you’re looking to get an adorable little duck that just happens to vibrate, this is the perfect toy. While Eden Fantasys doesn’t sell the travel-size Bondage Duckie, they do carry a full-size I rub My Duckie Bondage Duck or the regular colored travel size duckies. If you choose to go shop there, and use the code “EP4” at checkout, you’ll receive 15% off your total purchase order. Happy Ducking! :)
