I have been a huge fan of Crystal Delights toys for a long, long time. I think I’ve been a fan for so long that they don’t even produce some of the favorites I have around the house anymore. They’re high-quality, downright gorgeous, and hand-made by a small business owner here in the USA. It’s hard to argue with any of that. (plus, they’re glass, and I’m definitely a glutton for glass sex toys).
The Crystal Delights My Lil Pony Tail plug is no different. In short: it’s awesome, amazing, and worth every penny.
The plug itself, like all Crystal Delights plugs, is a gorgeous, high-quality glass. I have yet to have any of my Crystal Delights plugs break on me, and I’m 95% sure they’ll outlive me unless all of my possessions happen to fall into a black hole. I have zero concerns about their safety, and they’re just amazing glass plugs in general. Unlike some of the jewel butt plugs I’ve reviewed before, the Crystal Delights toys always have the gem set inside the glass with a lip of glass around the sides of the plug. This, essentially, protects you from any scratchy/sharp edges of the plug.
But, back on track! This tail is gorgeous and fantastic. The My Lil Pony tail synthetic wig hair is my favorite part. The synthetic hair has been styled into gentle, romantic curls that go the entire length of the hair. The hair itself is super long, and it goes past my partner’s knees when they’re wearing it. (Want to see that? I avoid any explicit pictures here on Kinky World, but the photo is available on my Fetlife.) It’s a full, voluminous tail that makes a serious statement when you wear it. I love the hell out of it.
The tail itself is connected to a swivel that was BUILT INTO the glass plug itself. This means the tail is so securely attached, I’m seriously impressed. This also means that the tail “swivels”. Not only does this allow you to do a bit of “swishing” if you wag your tail, but it also means that the tail will always point towards the ground. Even if the plug gets twisted or moved inside your bum, the tail still functions as a tail and points downwards with no tangles.

I love that Crystal Delights also chose to make these in a rainbow of pastel colors. No dark colors found here – those are colors found elsewhere. Instead, they’ve focused on the bright, colorful and playful pastels that are completely unheard of in high-quality toys. That makes every part of me happy. Sex toys, bondage, and pony play doesn’t need to be super-serious and always set in black.
The glass butt plug itself is basic, but it’s a high-quality basic that Crystal Delights is known for. It’s a very beginner-friendly size at 1.3″ in diameter, and because of the glass, it slides in really easily. It’s solid, you can definitely feel it while its in, and the plug does a surprisingly good job of staying inside the butt. I’ll admit that I was a bit worried, but nope. As long as you use a very-thin layer of lube, it seems to stay in pretty well – even for my partner who loves anal stretching with huge toys like the Egg Plugs by Square Peg Toys.
In short, I’m in love with the Crystal Delights My Lil Pony butt plug pony tail, and they really hit a home run with its creation.
