Mixing the world of vibration and air suction together, the Satisfyer Pro3+ is one of the three vibration + suction toys that Satisfyer makes. The Pro3+ is made from medical-grade silicone with a width of 1.9″ and a length of 5.7″. This air suction vibrator does NOT have a removable tip for easy cleaning or a customized fit. The air suction and vibration are independently controlled, and the entire toy is rechargeable via the magnetic USB cable.
Simple and to the point, the Satisfyer Pro3+ is an air suction vibrator with built-in vibrations. The tip of this vibrator is noticeably thick and plushy – and unremovable. It feels squishy when you touch it. The handle of the vibrator is entirely rigid and easy to grasp in your hand. The vibrator is pretty straight to the point. Press the tip up against the clitoris (or nipples or other small pleasure points), and it should work its magic.
To avoid fussing with batteries (and make it easier to make it waterproof), the Satisfyer Pro3+ is rechargeable via a magnetic port along the handle. You don’t really notice the port on the handle while holding it; it’s pretty comfortable. The magnetic cord is strong enough to hold its connection as long as the silicone vibe is stable. It won’t be able to hold the toy up on its own – or prevent the toy from rolling. The Pro3+ doesn’t seem to have a habit of rolling, though, so it charges up pretty easily and without much fuss. The instruction manual says the Satisfyer Pro3+ charging time is four hours – and that should give you a run time of about an hour. Decently okay in the world of sex toys.
The Satisfyer Pro 3 Plus has three buttons on the shaft/handle of the toy. Two of these buttons control the suction (increase and decrease intensity) while the third button is a single button that cycles through all of the vibrational intensities. The buttons have a nice “click” once pressed, and they’re decently easy to press down as well. The buttons, however, do not have an easy distinction between the three. When the toy held in your hand and between your legs (and presumably, out of easy sight), it’s near-impossible to figure out which button controls what. You’ll need to pull the toy away from your body and into some light to actually figure out which button to press.
I have to admit, I’m not really all that fond of this “vibration and air suction” stimulation that the Satisfyer Pro 3 + has going on. I honestly had imagined that the vibrations of the toy would “enhance” the suction that it already provided. I don’t know if I’d agree that is the case. In fact, I’d generally say the vibrations are buzzy and noticeable enough that they very-quickly take over all of the sensations from the air suction aspect. After having the air suction and vibration both on for five minutes, I really can’t even tell a difference when I turn the air suction off – and that’s no fun. Especially as the vibrations are on the buzzy side.
It’s odd, but the vibrations really seem to be focused more in the handle than in the tip of this air suction vibrator. That certainly isn’t the end of the world (and pretty much gives you a sex toy with dual-end functionality!), but at the same time, I was really expecting the vibrations and the air suction functionality to be useful from the tipped end – and preferably simultaneously. If they aren’t, why not purchase a dedicated air suction vibrator – which will likely have more power – or a dedicated vibrator – which will likely have more power and a shape that’s really designed for vibrational use while holding it? As it stands, you pretty much have to use the two functions entirely separately or else the buzzy vibrations quickly numb and overpower the air suction sensations.
It’s also worth noting that, in order to turn off either the vibrations or the suction, the corresponding button must be pressed AND held down for a few seconds to turn it on OR off. This means, if you’re in the middle of pleasure and find you don’t want to fuss with either suction or vibration, you’ll need to move the toy away from your body, locate the button you want to press, press and hold the button, and then put it back to your body. It’s a noticeable disruption if you just wanted to flip off vibrations or flip off the suction.
If using the Satisfyer Pro 3 Plus, I tend to prefer the suction-only. Possibly due to having to share room with a vibrator or maybe it’s the plushy tip (which is pretty unseen in suction toys), but the suction is noticeably less powerful than most of my other air suction vibrator toys. If you’re not into powerful suction, you might enjoy that (I know I’ve heard people say that the Womanizer is just too intense – even on the lowest settings!). But I’d say this has about 30-60% of the power of my other air suction toys – depending on which toys you’re comparing it against. It doesn’t provide the same power nor intensity of suction – but you might consider that a plus if you tend to find most air suction vibrators too intense for you. If you aren’t a fan of tugging on the clitoris – or grinding – you might enjoy the Satisfyer Pro 3+ air suction option.
It’s also worth noting that the head of the Satisfyer Pro3 Plus doesn’t really envelope my clitoris like other air suction vibrators too. I think it has something to do with the large, plushy thickness of the walls of tip of the vibrator. It’s very different than the thinner-sizes of most air suction toys. It makes it hard to “nestle” between the folds of the vulva and actually get a good seal. It seems like it’s always bumping into skin and leaves very little room for movement of the toy either. If you have more of a protruding clitoris, this may not be an issue for you. It tends to be an issue for me.
The vibrations are okay as well. They’re definitely on the buzzy side – and oddly more focused around the metal band than the tip of the vibrator. You do get some decent vibration at the tip of the vibrator, though. Definitely softer than average, but it isn’t terrible. Again, if you like softer and lighter clitoral sensations, it could be your jam.
Noise-wise, I wouldn’t say the Satisfyer Pro Three Plus is particularly quiet. It isn’t. Expect to hear a buzzing – whether using the suction, vibration, or both – while using it. It’s easily audible inside the same room. You’d need to have a good level of noise (TV or music) if trying to hide the noise while in a separate room.
The Satisfyer Pro 3+ comes packaged in a thin, cardboard box that clearly displays what is inside the box. Inside the box, the vibrator comes in a plastic tray that’s specifically crafted to hold the toy. The rechargeable charging cable and the instruction booklet fit underneath that. The box includes some basic information about the Pro 3+ on the sides. It is, however, a relatively thin box. It’ll easily get crushed if put under something of any weight. (We’re talking a hardcover book here). It’s not suitable for long-term storage of your toy.
For cleaning, with a waterproof design, the Satisfyer Pro 3+ cleans up okay. The tip doesn’t, however, come off, so you’ll have to take the entire toy into the sink to get it clean. (Thank goodness for that waterproof capability!) Depending on your anatomy, the ridge around the tip is going to get dirty and require some deep cleaning – particularly with a toothbrush. Having a removable tip would have solved that, but okay. It doesn’t. Just make sure to pay special attention while cleaning to get that cleaned up – or you could end up accidentally missing it. Warm water and mild soap will clean up your vibe. And there’s little reason to use lube (though, technically, you could insert the handle end with no issue, so there’s a reason), but if you choose to do so, this air suction and vibrator needs water-based lubricant.
Overall, the Satisfyer Pro3+ really isn’t my favorite Satisfyer vibe. I think you’re better off picking up the Pro 2, Number 1, or Traveler if you’re looking for air suction – or picking up the Wand-er Woman wand vibrator if you’re looking for vibration. Packing them into the same toy just really isn’t doing it for me – at least if you’re looking for power. If you’ve been looking for a softer air suction toy which is gentler on the clitoris, though, the Satisfyer Pro3+ could actually be a really good fit for you. Thanks to Satisfyer for providing this air suction vibrator for my Satisfyer Pro 3+ review.
