The box seems to be made with durability in mind. I thought it might just be the inner cardboard stuffing that was keeping it held strong, but no. The storage case actually comes with a strong, durable outer lining that makes the toy box hold up to things. You can easily stack other boxes or items on top of this storage box without worrying about it crumbling. It’s even more sturdy than many cardboard boxes that I’ve gotten from the postal system! This definitely was designed to be a box that can hold up to some abuse.
So what can this box hold? It definitely can hold a fair bit of items. If you have multiple toys, it probably won’t hold your entire sex toy collection, but it easily can hold a couple toys with no issue. It’s wide enough and tall enough to easily hold a rabbit vibrator (or two!), and you can definitely get condoms, lubricant, moist towelettes, or washclothes in the case as well. It has no issue fitting pretty much any standard-sized toy. It may not fit the hugest dildo out there, but for standard toys, it should be fine. With its nice little storage pouch along the lid, you also can simply include the lubricant, condoms, or any little accessories (charger for electronic toys, etc.) that you need for your toys. This makes it a fantastic little “carry all” storage box if you regular travel with your toys.
I was surprised by how simple it is to get into and out of the box. Some storage cases are low quality or aren’t made well, so the zipper tends to stick. The zipper on this box is insanely smooth. In fact, it’s impressive how smooth it is. Both zippers unzip and rezip with a slick ease that’s even hard to find in my clothes! The two zippers easily go close enough to one another to use the lock to keep the box shut. The lock is pretty easy to operate. It’s a bit confusing at first, but once you figure out how to work it, it’s really simple to get the lock on and off. You can always replace this lock with one of your favorites if you’d prefer a key-lock or just to use another lock.
My only complaint is the outer velvet material. While it looks luxurious and feels luxurious, it’s slightly a pain. The velvet material is going to be hard to clean up, and it won’t just wipe clean like the inner lining. However, I bet there’s going to come a time where I try and open the box with lubricated hands when I need another toy or when I want to store something. This is going to be a pain to keep the velvet clean because it won’t just wipe up as easily like a softened leather would. However, if you’re careful, the outer velvet material shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
As a positive, the inner material is made of a satin-like material that’s designed to be slick and easily wipe up messes. So if your lubricant spills or your condom leaks a bit, you can easily clean up the mess on the inside of the box without making too much of a mess on the material. However, make sure to clean it up ASAP as I’m not sure how easy it will be to clean up once the material has fully absorbed it.
Overall, I think a lot of people are going to love the Love to Love Toys Secret Box. If you want a luxurious box that can hold your sex toys and sex items safe and sound, this box does a wonderful job while still exuding a sensual air. The inside is going to be easy to clean in case of any accidents, and the entire case was made with durability and high-quality design in mind.
