UPDATE: April 2020. While the Stronic Eins appears to be discontinued, the Stronic line, in general, is still going strong. They’ve varied the textures and made all sorts of different designs using this same, self-thrusting technology. Check it out!
The Stronic Eins, a brand new type of vibrator made by FunFactory is a silicone luxury thrusting vibrator. At over nine inches long with a diameter of over an inch and a half at the widest point, the Stronic Eins is rechargeable and waterproof. A brand new type of vibrator, instead of vibrating, this sex toy actually pulsates which provides movement in a whole new way that vibrators have never done before. Featuring luxury features like travel lock, magnetic charging, quick-off button and more, the Stronic Eins sex toy is designed to be a new experience in sex toys.
The packaging for the Stronic is comprehensive enough to easily house the dildo. There’s an outer, cardboard slipcover that explains the Stronic’s features. Inside that slipcover, tehre’s a sturdier cardboard box that easily opens up to displays the Stronic. The Stronic is resting in a pseudo-tray thing that will hold the dildo easily. Along with this, you’ll also find the charger, an instruction book, and a charging-warning booklet along with your Stronic. The packaging isn’t too luxurious or fancy, but to be honest, I’d rather they not overcharge to make up for packaging, so I like this basic, but functional, packaging.
The amazing thing about the Stronic Eins is exactly how different from a vibrator it is. It’s not your average vibrator with just “new features”. It’s really its own type of toy. Instead of *vibrating*, this sex toy does more of a pulsating and thrusting motion. It’s hard to explain, but it feels like there’s a piston-type motor inside the sex toy. And this piston-type motor causes the toy to move forwards and backwards during use – instead of just vibrating in place. It’s hard to explain, but watch any video of the Stronic Eins, and you’ll see exactly how it moves. It DOESN’T vibrate, but it has this extremely unique motion. So don’t expect a vibrator out of this one – instead, it’s a unique sex toy all in its own classification.
As for the design of the Stronic Eins vibrator itself, it’s designed pretty nicely. It’s worth noting that it’s a big on the large side in terms of girth. The girth itself isn’t all that large – in fact, it’s relatively average in terms of size compared to a human penis. However, the silicone that the Stronic Eins is made from is on the matte side, and it’s very draggy. This means that it requires lots of lubricant, and it does feel “larger” and more “grippy” than human skin or condom-covered skin. So the vibrator ends up feeling larger than its actual size would make you think.
The tip of the vibrator has a slight flexibility to it. It can bend slightly if you want it to. The entire shaft of the Stronic Eins has absolutely no texture or extra design on it, so aside from the feeling of the matte silicone, it feels completely smooth. There’s a slight ridge near the base of the vibrator that is designed to be a “clitoral bump” that can provide clitoral stimulation during use. This bump is slight and only extends about 1/2 inch up above the shaft itself, so its placement may not be optimal for most women.
Like many of the FunFactory vibrators, the Stronic Eins charges via the Click’n’Charge system. This is a magnetic charging system that most of their vibrators share. The Click’n’Charge charger seems to easily connect to the charging spot, and I’ve never had an issue with it unplugging itself. As long as you don’t situate it in a way that’s pulling on the toy or cord, it stays connected pretty well. There’s a red LED light on the charger that glows while it’s charging, and the light turns off when the vibrator is fully charged. While I can’t give you an exact number, I know the first charge didn’t take more than four hours.
The buttons are all at the base, and they allow you to easily control the vibrator. I must admit, though, that I still don’t have a huge grasp of how the vibrator works – the instructions ONLY include pictures, and the pictures are kinda confusing – at best. With a bit of playing around, though, it seems that I’ve discovered most of the features and how it works. So just be aware that there’s a slight learning curve with operation since the instructions are vague. There’s three buttons at the base – there’s the + button, the – button, and the on/off button. Holding the on/off button, as you can imagine, turns it on and off. The plus and minus buttons adjust the pulsating strength – including cycling through the various patterns that this sex toy includes.
So, how does it feel? Definitely different. Don’t expect huge, intense in-and-out thrusting. That’s not really how the Stronic Eins works. However, it’s impressive because it DOES end up doing some minor thrusting. For example, if I hold this vibrator in my hand while not in use, it doesn’t numb my hand or just make it shake. It physically MOVES my hand back and forth. Watching a video of the Stronic Eins will show you this. This same idea applies to using it, too. The movement is more intense on the slower thrusting patterns, but it can be felt on the faster patterns too. The Stronic Eins definitely has some power behind it, and while it isn’t vibrational power, you can easily feel how much power this vibrator has when on the slower thrusting sensations – this silicone thrusting sex toy moves a lot!
As for noise, its surprisingly, surprisingly quiet. Yet again, Fun Factory did well. It’s near-impossible to hear while just on my lap and in the same room, and definitely impossible to be heard outside of a closed door. Applause on that one.
I must say that the Stronic Eins, and its unique pulsating sensation, are one of the few times where I actually like the patterns on a sex toy. The patterns make the thrusting feeling a lot more natural, and depending on the pattern, it’s really nice to feel something “different” than the same rhythmic thrusting sensation that are on the constant speeds. The different patterns are unique enough to make it feel more realistic, and I really like the fact that they included them. It’s one of the few sex toys where I enjoy experimenting and playing with the patterns more than the steady vibration modes.
The Stronic Eins seems to have a clitoral bump added to the thrusting sex toy at the base. I can’t say that this has made much of a difference to me. It really depends on what you like. As the Stronic Eins has this interesting “mini thrusting” sensation, as you can imagine, the bump will move away from the body then press against the body again. So it’s only occasional contact instead of the constant contact assumed when using a vibrator. So if you like that occassional, rhythmic contact on your clitoris, as long as the bump is right for your anatomy, the Stronic Eins can make that sensation. But it really doesn’t “stay” too much on the clitoris unless you hold it there, and at that point, you’ll be messing with the thrusting-type sensation of the vibrations.
Another note about the clitoral bump is that it may not work for all bodies. It depends on your body. For me, the clitoral bump doesn’t reach where it’s supposed to without some really awkward angling that makes the sex toy hard to thrust with. So for me, the bump wasn’t quite right. Other reviews I’ve read say tha the bump works for them, so again, it just depends on your body and your anatomy. If you don’t want to deal with the clitoral bump, though, you could turn the vibrator upside down (though the slightly curved tip would be pointing in the wrong direction then) as well as angle the vibrator in a different way where the vibrator’s bump will be pulled even farther away from the body.
When it comes down to it, though, I like the Stronic Eins. Surprisingly. It isn’t a one-toy-only type of toy. If I want to finish off while using the Stronic Eins, I’ll add another external vibrator. But the sensations it provides are actually pleasurable and enjoyable, and I actually am happy to mess with the two-toys-at-once in order to use the Stronic Eins. It has a nice thrusting sensation, and while it doesn’t vibrate or give the clitoral pleasure needed, when paired with another toy, it provides a semi-hands-off type of thrusting sensation that allows you to focus on other things.
When using it, you do have to be careful how you hold it. If you start to hold it too firmly or too rigidly, you can cut off the sex toy’s natural thrusting movement and limit it. Allowing the sex toy to thrust and move works best. On that same note, if the vaginal muscles tighten up while you’re using it, you won’t get the same amount of intense thrusting, so keep that in mind as well.
To clean this thrusting dildo, you just need to use warm water and antibacterial soap. As this sex toy is waterproof, you don’t have to be too careful during cleaning, but it never hurts to be careful the first couple times. Do not clean it while its charging (does that really have to be said?) It’s only compatible with water-based lubricants (though it could be used with HIGH-quality silicone-based lubricant). For storage, it really does tend to pick up small pieces of lint and fuzzies, so I recommend storing this silicone sex toy in a storage bag (not included though I would have liked to see one for the price) or in the original box.
Overall, the Stronic Eins vibrator is unique – and pretty amazing for the first toy of its type. As Fun Factory learns this new technology, I imagine the thrusting potential will get more powerful, and honestly, for their first attempt into this type of sex toy, I’m extremely impressed. It thrusts well, is whisper quiet, feels nice, charges easily, and is high-quality and well-made. As long as you’re okay with the price and the minimal clitoral stimulation, the Stronic Eins is really a pretty impressive sex toy.
