The Hustler Bad Girl “Brass Knuckles” vibrator is a small and edgy vibrator sold by TabuToys adult toys. Requiring one “N” battery to function, the packaging nor the official website says what material this is made from. It says it’s a body-safe, phthalate-free material, but it does not feel nor smell like pure silicone, so keep that in mind. The vibrator is about three and a half inches long, and it features that removable vibrating bullet that adds vibrations. According to the packaging, you can burn about 45 calories an hour using this vibrator, so that’s an interesting tidbit.
The packaging for this vibrator is definitely unique. It comes in a small plastic bag that’s resealable. It’s a clear, see-through bag, and as the plastic is barely larger than the toy itself, you can easily use this for storage. The bag has that zip-close function on the top, so it will keep out hair and lint. Since it isn’t large and bulky, it works surprisingly well for keeping it away from hair and lint without adding bulk. The packaging is also cute and basic enough to work for gift-giving.
I must admit that I’m disappointed that the packaging nor the official Hustler Toys website gives any information about the material. I get that it’s body-safe and phthalate-free, but the specific material name is very important to me. It determines how I can store it. It determines how comfortable I would be sharing it. It determines how I clean it. The material, though, is very flexible, and has quite a bit of drag to it, so if you tend to slide your vibrator against your skin, you’ll probably want lots of lubricant. It has a VERY faint scene only if you place your nose up to it. Just holding it and using it – it has no scent to it.
The design of the Brass Knuckles vibrator is pretty simple. It actually is a flexible-material that includes a hole to slide in a small bullet vibrator. This bullet vibrator is included and requires one N battery to function. The vibrating bullet can be removed and used on its own, and another, stronger bullet could be placed in the sleeve as well. The Hustler name is etched into one side of the vibrator while the opposite side doesn’t have that. The “knuckles” portion of the vibrator is made of four hearts, and the place where your fingers slip in is very stretchy and will stretch out for your fingers. The material of the hearts is slightly squishy as well, and it squishes in when pressure is applied. HustlerToys considers this one of their “Intermediate” vibrators.
One thing that both my partner and I found amusing was the fact that these “Brass Knuckles” aren’t actually wide enough to comfortably and easily fit all of your fingers. It fits three of my fingers okay, but when it comes to getting the fourth in, I have to wiggle the material. The material is stretchy enough to physically “let” all four of my fingers in, but once all four are in, it is uncomfortably tight. My partner had the same issue, so it looks like most people with average-sized hands will only get three fingers in comfortably. It WILL fit four, but be aware that it squeezes pretty tight when that’s done. I just wish Hustler would have made the Bad Girl vibrator just a bit larger so it could have easily fit four fingers.
The small bullet vibrator in the Bad Girl vibrator is is larger than standard-sized. It’s a bit thicker and a bit longer than your standard-sized bullet vibrator. It can be switched out for a standard-sized one, but be aware that the standard-sized one may slip out and may not be as snug. The longer length does make using the bullet vibrator as a sex toy in itself much more easy though.
The vibrations from the bullet are okay. They have that pretty audible sound that couldn’t be heard through a closed door, but if you wanted to use in a quiet room, it can easily be heard in the same room. If you have something loud going on (a movie, etc), it’s harder to hear though. The vibrations themselves aren’t so bad, but once placed in the sleeve, they are definitely on the “barely can be noticed” scale. They are very, very soft. The sleeve seems to deaden the vibrations quite a bit, and unless you’re very sensitive to vibrations, I’d say that the vibrations from this sex toy are only going to be a tease and will not lead to orgasm. Whether you apply pressure or not, the vibrations with this bullet, when in the sleeve, are very soft, so keep that in mind.
I can’t say that I’m a huge fan of the design of this vibrator sleeve. Mostly, while it’s cute and edgy-looking, the design also leads to a lot of the material being used. This isn’t so bad except for the fact that more material means more that the vibrations have to travel through. This means that the vibrations end up being weaker by the time you get to use them. This is the biggest issue for me – that the vibrations end up being so weak. Weak vibrations don’t do much for me, and I don’t usually need a toy just for teasing. However, if most vibrators tend to be too strong or you’re just very sensitive, you could still really enjoy this. You possibly could also try placing a stronger bullet vibrator in the sleeve, but again, with the excess material in the sleeve used in the “knuckle” design, it will deaden the vibrations quite a bit.
So, what about the design itself? It’s actually surprisingly good. I wouldn’t call it “amazing”, but the handle from the “knuckles” actually makes it very easy to grip. Much easier than a regular bullet. It does take a couple tries to really learn how best you want to use it, but after you get the hang of how to use it comfortably (and there are many ways to do it), it’s really simple to use and press against the body. It’s especially helpful when pressing against the body if you have a squirmy self or partner because you can slip the vibrator around three fingers and use the rest of the hand to help hold your partner down (or whatever you happen to be doing). I actually really like the handle grip on this vibrator and just wish that there wasn’t as much material around the “knuckles” so that the vibrations would come through more easily.
When you want to clean this vibrator, you’re going to want to use warm water and antibacterial soap. Make sure to remove the bullet vibrator and clean inside the sleeve as well. The bullet doesn’t say that it’s waterproof, but it looks water resistant, so as long as you’re careful (like we’ve been), it hasn’t gotten water inside of the bullet. The sleeve itself is just a sleeve with no electronic parts, so it can be soaked. As I don’t know the material, I can’t tell you what materials are compatible with it. Again, this is a HUGE negative on the company’s part. For storage, I recommend keeping this in the original pouch unless you learn what the sex toy’s material is. I wouldn’t want a reaction with another toy’s material.
Overall, the Hustler Bad Girl Brass Knuckles vibrator is cute, and it’s actually pretty easy to hold and handle, but the vibrations may be too soft for most. The design lends itself well to handling, the design is edgy, and I also wish that Hustler Toys had released what material this sex toy is made from. However, if you want something cute, egdy, and light on the vibrations, the Hustler Bad Girl Brass Knuckles vibrator could do it.
