Studio Collection Mascara Vibrator Wand

The Studio Collection Mascara Vibrator is a discreet vibrator designed to look like a mascara brush and is sold by Adam & Eve. It includes multiple vibration speeds, and it is waterproof. It’s made from plastic and silicone, and it includes the batteries needed for function (watch batteries). The vibrator is about four inches in height with a diameter of about a half an inch. This mascara vibrator is intended for external use only.

The packaging for this vibrator is a pretty black and red theme just like the sex toy itself. The packaging allows you to see the sex toy through the see-through front, and the vibrator can be removed easily in its own tray. The packaging doesn’t really work very well for storage at all, but since this is a discreet vibrator on its own, the packaging wasn’t meant to hold the toy. The packaging does look pretty snazzy, though, and it’d work well for gift-giving.

The outer casing of the mascara vibrator

As someone usually buys a vibrator like this for discretion, I’ll talk about the design and discretion a bit. The discretion is…okay. From a distance, people probably wouldn’t know that it’s a vibrator. However, once you get up to it, it’s not very discreet. The outside cap is pretty wiggly which is a dead giveaway because a loose cap on a regular vibrator would dry out the mascara. Along with that, the lid says “The Screaming O” in small letters. Once you open it up, the inside bristles definitely give away that it’s a not a mascara wand though it doesn’t really “scream” sex toy unless you really give it a once-over and read all the words on it.

The control for this vibrator is on the button of the sex toy as well. Like where the vibrator sits when you sit it up. This really isn’t too much of an issue. The button is a bit “set into” the bottom of the vibrator, so it doesn’t really turn itself on accidentally. It possibly COULD turn itself on accidentally if something very firm pressed onto it, but it doesn’t seem like a very likely option.

This mascara vibrator uses three watch batteries. The vibrator comes with a set of batteries in it, and it also comes with another set of batteries for you to use as well. The batteries are easily inserted by twisting the base of the vibrator then inserting the batteries. I would have preferred it to use a AAA battery as it looks like the base of the mascara vibrator is large enough to do that, but the watch batteries seem to work okay for it as well.

The mascara vibrator bristles looked a bit scary in the pictures. I’m happy to report that they really aren’t scary at all. Instead, the bristles are flexible and relatively soft. The material feels like a thicker version of what a cnodom’s material feels like but the material is thicker and has no scent. The mascara vibrator brush ‘s material does have some pretty decent drag to it, so you’ll want to be careful about how you pull it on the skin or add some lubricant before using it. The actual wand part of this vibrator is completely firm and stiff, but the bristles of the brush are flexible.

The vibrations are definitely on the softer side. They are definitely softer than what you’d get in an average vibrator and probably not enough for orgasm for most women. The motor for the vibration seems to be in the handle of the vibrator, but honestly, the vibrations are still pretty easily felt in the mascara tip of this vibrator. It actually ends up being about equal in terms of the power you get on either end. I must admit that I”m not a huge fan of the vibrations in this vibrator. The vibrations are definitely on the buzzy side, and when you add that to the fact that the “mascara wand” tips are little nubbly, flexible things that move around when the vibrator is vibrating, the entire sex toy ends up feeling more ticklish and giggly than sexual. It actually tickles me too much to actually be comfortable using it; it just feels too odd. It’s like a more tickly and intense sensation than the usual rabbit bunny ears, and I must say that I’m not particular fond of it.

On the bright side, though, the vibrations are pretty quiet. They can be heard in the same room, but barely. They could be heard in a dead-quiet room like a bathroom, but as long as there’s some sort of noise going on, it’s hard to hear the vibrations.

The packaging for this vibrator

For my own use, I do have to admit that I’m not too fond of this vibrator. The vibrations are just not nearly enough for me to like it as a vibrator. I find the design and the idea of it really cute, and if it had the power, it’d be a more positive experience for me, but the subtle power it has mixed with the tickly mascara wand brush just doesn’t make this a good purchase for me. If you like the tickly feeling of rabbit clitoral arms, this might work better for you, but if you lik deeper and more pressurized vibrations, this vibrator may not be the best for you.

To clean this mascara vibrator, you will want to use warm water and antibacterial soap. As I’m not sure the bristles are 100% silicone, you will probably want to use this with a condom if you want to share it with other people. The vibrator is supposed to be waterproof, so you shouldn’t have to be too careful about water, and with the plain and simple design of the vibrator, it’s pretty easy to thoroughly clean this vibrator without requiring too much effort.

Overall, the Studio Collection Mascara Vibrator Wand could go both ways depending on your preferences. If you wanted something with some power or something that was really discreet, the Studio Collection Mascara Wand will disappoint. However, if you are okay with softer vibrations and a Mascara that is semi-discreet, the Studio Collection Mascara Wand could work fine for you. Thanks to Adam & Eve Sex Toys for sending this discreet vibrator for my Studio Collection Mascara Vibrator review. They have tons of varieties of toys, and they also have a bunch of toys like the ones used in the 50 Shades of Grey novels.
