UPDATE APRIL 2020: The Jopen Vanity Vr4.5 is no longer in production. The Jopen Vanity line, however, is still in production – including other rabbit vibrators

The Jopen Vanity Vr4.5 is is rabbit vibrator made of silicone and designed by Jopen. It’s part of the new .5 series which is new vibrators that were added to the Jopen Vanity line after customer requests. The internal portion has the widest diameter of an inch and a half while it has about five inches of insertable length. The full vibrator is about seven inches long, and this vibrator is also rechargeable and waterproof.

The packaging for the Jopen Vanity is pretty standard packaging for the Jopen Vanity line. It comes in a cardboard box that is a plain white and shows off the features of the Jopen Vanity Vr4.5. Inside the box, there is a tray that the vibrator sits in as well as a storage bag, the charger, instructions for the line of vibrators, and a feature list. The packaging doesn’t look nearly as fancy as other luxury vibrator’s packaging does, but it does do the job of keeping your vibrator protected until you get it.

The Jopen Vanity Vr4.5 is pretty simply designed. It’s a rabbit vibrator which means that it specifically is designed to be pleasurable internally and externally at the same time. The internal portion is of about average size (at the widest part), and it includes a slight g-spot curve. The external portion is pretty flexible, and it also includes a small “attachment” to it that looks like the little finger coming off of it. This is part of the toy and not removable. The internal portion and the external portion of this vibrator both have their own motors as well, and the internal one’s motor is focused near the largest width while the clitoral arm’s motor is also focused in the place with the largest width.

Like previously stated, this vibrator is rechargeable. There is the a charging port right in the back of the vibrator towards the bottom. The plug fits very firmly into this port, so be aware that you have to give it some push. When it’s charging, the light will glow red to let you know, and it doesn’t take very long at all to finish charging. When it’s done charging, you just plug it, and it’s ready to go! It’s really quite a simple charging process, and the vibrator does come partially charged, but you should fully charge it before use.

Controlling the Jopen Vanity Vr4.5 is pretty darned simple. There are two buttons on the base of the vibrator. One button controls the clitoral portion and one controls the shaft. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you do, it works really well. In order to increase vibrations, you press the button and hold it down. In order to turn off the vibrator, you just press the button once. There’s no way to “decrease” the vibrations, but you can easily just turn it off then go straight back into the vibration you wanted. I’m really fond of this control system, and most people will learn how it works very quickly.

The vibrations on the Jopen Vanity Vr4.5 are surprising – for sure. The insertable portion is pretty intense; those are rumbly and strong, and if you were to place them on a wood table, it sounds slightly light a jack-hammer since the vibrator bounces up so powerfully so much. They are definitely a good intensity. The vibrations in the clitoral arm – not so much. They are much more on the buzzy side and not as powerful. However, the vibrations of the clitoral arm seem designed to make the little clitoral part flutter, and for that, they do a very good job. They just don’t feel like much to me when I try to apply pressure which is how I prefer to use my toys. When inserted, the toy is hard to hear in the same room, as well, so it’s very quiet.

Something that really stands out about the Jopen Vanity Vr4.5 is the clitoral arm. Most clitoral arms on vibration-only rabbit vibrators like this one tend to be more like an attached “bullet” vibrator in a round and short size. With the Vr4.5, it has that round “bullet” shape, but instead of just leaving it there like most vibrators would, Jopen then went and attached that little “arm” you see on top of the clitoral portion. This, when the vibrator is turned on, does small little fluttering much like those rabbit ears on usual rabbit vibrators. For me, that little clitoral arm ends up lining up perfectly, and with not too much pressure applied, the clitoral arm does end up fluttering.

However, I’m more of a person that really enjoys stronger and firmer vibrations, and I’ve found that, when you try to apply pressure with the fluttering arm, the little fluttering arm just tends to give way more than it does actually apply pressure. That’s why the clitoral portion just doesn’t really work for me. For those that like the fluttering sensations, though, the little portion does a good job. It’s not the most fluttering I’ve seen in a rabbit vibrator, but it does do a butter of fluttering.

The internal g-spot portion does pretty good! I’m not 100% fond of it because it doesn’t hit *my* g-spot, but I have a pretty deep g-spot. If you have a g-spot that standard g-spot toys tend to hit, the Vanity Vr4.5 should be able to hit it as well. Plus, the vibrations on this internal part are nice and rumbly and feel really nice. However, keep in mind that the inserted shaft part is pretty flexible, so it’s pretty hard to apply pressure and get it continue to stroke the g-spot – it tends to give under pressure.

The packaging

To clean this rabbit vibrator, you can use warm water and antibacterial soap. The vibrator is waterproof, so you don’t have to be too careful with cleaning. As the vibrator is made of silicone, you do need to use water-based lubricant on the vibrator for lubrication. For storage, as the Vr4.5 does tend to pick up a bit of lint and hair, you’ll probably want to keep it in the included storage bag.

Overall, if you like a fluttering sensation with your clitoral vibrations, the Jopen Vanity Vr4.5 could be perfect for you. I prefer a harder pressure for my vibrations, so it’s not best for me, but it’s still a really good vibrator worth checking out – especially if you have a shallower g-spot!
