UPDATE JULY 2021: The BNaughty Deluxe is no longer is in production. This sex toy review remains as a reference for anyone who’s curious about the toy. While you’re here, why not check out my BDSM advice, femdom advice, and femdom podcast?
I love any toy that looks beautiful, sleek, and technologically advanced. Imagine how excited I was when Laurel announced that I had won! After using it a couple of times, I do think I’ve learned enough to report on it.
The BNaughty Deluxe is a beautifully sleek bullet vibrator. The bullet itself is about an inch and a half and about an inch in width. The controller is about four inches long and about two inches wide. The cord is almost two feet long. It’s long enough to easily play with it yourself, and you could play with a partner (one wearing the bullet, one controlling), but it’d be a little constraining. The entire bullet and controller are made from plastic. The plastic controller is the shiny plastic while the bullet has more matte plastic. The ruby color of the one I own is pretty close to the color of the pictures – it’s possibly a little more light pink.
The packaging is pretty basic. Just like all of BSwish’s products, the box is absolutely sleek and tasteful. The black box is accentuated by a pink bar that includes the details and a tasteful photo of a girl. The instructions that are included offer a link to register your warranty, instructions on how to insert the batteries, steps to take if the vibrator is malfunctioning, and how to use the vibrator. The use instructions actually seem like they were made for another vibrator instead of the BNaughty; it recommends inserting the bullet which I certainly recommend against.
The BNaughty Deluxe also comes with a cute cotton draw-string bag to store the bullet and controller in. It easily will fit them both, and the bag is soft to the touch.
The BNaughty Deluxe was intended ONLY for external use. While the cord seems firmly connected to the controller, inserting it vaginally or anally still isn’t a risk you should take unless you slide it into a condom first for easy retrieval. That having been said, the bullet actually does work well for clitoral stimulation. It does provide surface vibrations, but it is firm enough to be able to apply pressure with the bullet to any area you choose.
The BNaughty takes two AAA batteries. They aren’t included. To put them in, it’s very easy – you just pull down on the little trapdoor “trigger” and then it will let you slide the panel out. From there, you just slide in the two batteries with the side facing up that matches the lid to the batteries. You slide it shut, and you are good to go. As for battery usage, I’ve used it for a couple hours and the batteries haven’t died on me yet, so it seems to be pretty decent about it. The batteries also don’t apparently drain unless the bullet is actually turned on, so leaving them in shouldn’t be too big of a deal.
The vibration levels are pretty normal. The first one is a low steady vibration, then medium steady vibration, then high steady vibration, then a level that steadily escalates in a quick stepping pattern, then medium pulsations, then fast pulsations, then three short pulsations followed by a long one. That’s seven total vibration patterns in all. The neat thing about the controller is that the LED background lights match up with whatever vibration level is currently set. The steady vibrations stay as a steady on light, but the other lights all match up with the pattern to let you know what pattern is going through the bullet at that time.
Noise-wise, it’s not very loud at all. It actually is quite discreet. With Jor on the couch with the bullet between his legs and under a blanket (all for noise testing, you know), I could hear it, but barely, from about four feet away. I’m confident this wouldn’t be heard through a closed door as long as you were apply the bullet to an area of the body with pressure.
The controller feels natural in my hand. The shape of the controller easily contours with my fingers and feels completely natural to be holding. My only complaint? The on/off button is hard to push in. This is an amazing and annoying thing. It’s great because it’s darn-near impossible to push it in accidentally during use, but if my hand has lube on it, it’s a pain to actually push it in to turn it on/off either. The vibration-changing button is much, much easier to push in, so I’m thinking the button was difficult to push in intentionally, so you wouldn’t turn it off/on on accident. IF your hand was lubricated, the controller might be a little slick, but it’s really not all that bad.
Cleaning isn’t too rough with a plastic toy. Just some warm water and antibacterial soap will clean it up in a hurry. Some isoprophyl alcohol is also another choice for sterilization. Since it’s non-porous, you can share, but if you do, I just recommend a condom for piece of mind. Since it’s plastic, any type of lubricant will work: I liked water-based, but water-based, silicone-based, or oil-based will all go okay with this bullet vibrator.
Overall, did it do what it was supposed to? Yes. It’s definitely a high-tech, strong bullet vibrator that can easily provide strong external vibrations. It isn’t anywhere near the Hitachi, but it still is a little bit stronger than most vibrators – and that’s saying something considering it’s run on two AAAs. It’s plastic, so it can also provide the pressure some women need to climax as well. It’s a great, well-made bullet especially compared to some of the other choices.
I recommend the BNaughty Deluxe to anyone who enjoys surface vibrations, clitoral stimulation, and strong vibrations.
