UPDATE FEBRUARY 2022: The Jopen Vanity Vr6 is no longer in production. This sex toy review remains as a reference for those who are curious about it. While you’re here, check out my BDSM advice, femdom advice, and BDSM scene outlines

The Jopen Vanity Vr6 is a silicone rabbit vibrator. It includes two separate motors in the shaft and clitoral arm, and both motors are controlled by the press and hold button technology. The Jopen Vanity Vr6 is rechargeable, and it is waterproof as well. The insertable shaft is about an inch and a half in diameter, and the toy itself is about seven and a half inches in length.

The packaging for the Jopen Vanity Vr6 looks like the packaging for the rest of the Jopen Vanity line. It comes in a white box that is very basic and shows the logo for the Vanity line. Inside the box, the Vr6 sits inside a cardboard tray, and under the tray, there is the storage pouch, the charger, and the instruction guide. The packaging is not the most luxurious out there (especially for the price tag), but it will keep the toy safe until it gets to you.

The Jopen Vanity Vr6 is designed as a rabbit vibrator which can stimulate both internally and externally at the same time. The shaft does not rotate – instead, it vibrates with a deep g-spot curve. The Jopen Vanity Vr6 is made out of silicone, and it’s a nice, silky silicone instead of a plushy silicone. The silicone barely produces any drag. The clitoral arm has a little bit of flexibility to it, but not much, so the design of this rabbit vibrator works best for those, like myself, who enjoy some firm pressure clitorally while using a silicone rabbit vibrator.

The Vr 6 vibrator is rechargeable. The charging port for the rabbit vibrator is on the lower backside of the toy. The toy’s lighted panel will flash while it’s charging, and it will stop flashing once it’s done charging. The plug can be a bit difficult to push in, so just be aware that you will need to push it in with a slight bit of force – you aren’t hurting the sex toy to do so. Once plugged in, it will take about 3-4 hours to charge. It then easily unplugs for use.

The controls for the Jopen Vanity Vr6 are the touch sensitive, “Press and hold” controls that I enjoy. Both the shaft portion and the clitoral portion can be controlled separately with the buttons on the base of the shaft, and to turn on the vibrations, you just press and hold the button and the vibrations will turn on and get stronger. If you want it to get more strong, just continue to hold down the button. Release the button when you like the vibrations at their current level, and when you want to turn the vibrations off, you just have to do a single press of the button.

The vibrations are on the higher side of moderate. The shaft’s vibrations are relatively rumbly and are very easy to feel when inserted. The clitoral portion’s vibration could use a bit of a boost in terms of power, but they are still moderate, and as long as you aren’t used to more powerful vibrators (or require more powerful vibrators), the vibrations of the clitoral portion will probably be enough. The vibrations, for the most part, will probably be enough for most people unless you’re used to a stronger vibration. The vibrations can be heard in the same room, but they are pretty quiet, and they could not be heard outside of a closed door – especially when inserted.

The Jopen Vanity Vr6 seems to provide good clitoral stimulation and good g-spot stimulation. The g-spot curve seems pretty deep, so for most women, this will probably work well. For me, it’s more of a gentle rubbing up against my g-spot because mine is so deep, but that’s no fault of the toy. It does start to hit the g-spot, though, which is more than what most toys can say, so I’m definitely impressed! The vibrations in the shaft can easily be felt throughout the inside which is really nice, and the vibrations are very pleasurable.

When it comes to use, the Jopen Vanity Vr6 is a pretty good rabbit vibrator, but it does have some exceptions: the clitoral arm is going to press pretty hard up against you (because of the lack of flexibility), so if firm clitoral pressure is not for you, this may not be a good one for you. It also had slight issues with the alignment of things. It works fantastically for g-spot stimulation, but when I really get into that, the clitoral piece seems to go off-base. When the clitoral piece is perfect, it doesn’t seem amazing for g-spot stimulation. There’s still good stimulation when either is amazing, but it’s almost like I can’t get “both” sides to be amazing if that makes any sense. This is more of a personal anatomy thing, though, and what works for my anatomy won’t work for yours and visa versa.

To clean this sex toy, it’s actually pretty simple. Because it is waterproof, you can easily clean it with warm water and antibacterial soap without having to worry about harming your sex toy. It’s only compatible with water-based lubricant, and for the most part, you’ll probably want to avoid using it with non-fluid bonded partners for safety, but it could be sterilized with a bleach mixture. The material does tend to pick up a bit of lint, so you’ll want to store this away from fluff and inside of the storage bag.

Overall, the Jopen Vanity Vr6 is a good rabbit vibrator that really does have a fantastic design. Despite the fact that I can never get things to line up *just* right, I still want to use this on a regular basis, and I’m hoping that practice will make perfect. Like all rabbit vibrators, this is really anatomy-dependant, but if you like a firmer clitoral vibration as well as a g-spot sensation out of your silicone rabbit vibrator, the Vanity Vr6 may be able to provide.
