Leaf Bloom Vibrator Review

Leaf Bloom Vibrator
Leaf Bloom Vibrator

The Leaf Bloom vibrator is a silicone vibrator made by Swan Vibes and sold by this sex toys store. This vibrator includes two separate motors for two different points of vibration, and it’s rechargeable. The Leaf Bloom is one of the six vibrators in the Leaf series, and it’s 100% waterproof as well. The Leaf Bloom is about seven inches long with a diameter, at the Leaf end, of about an inch and a half. The Leaf end is certainly not rounded shaped, though, so it’s not a round inch and a half.

The packaging is really, really beautiful. Each one comes in a brown, recycled cardboard box. This box is held together by a magnetic on a side of the box, but it’s very easy to unclasp it to retrieve the toy. The box is much larger than the toy itself, but it’s also a quality toy, so if you want to keep it in the box, it will work out okay to do that. The box also includes the charger, instructions on how to use the vibrator, and a cute storage bag for the vibrator.

The Leaf vibrator series is a line of Eco-Friendly Sex Toys from Swan Vibes. These vibrators are made by the same manufacturing plant that makes the Jopen Vanity vibrators, so you’ll probably notice a same-ness in both texture of the silicone as well as the controls of the vibrators. This is perfectly fine by me as I like the way that the Jopen vibrators set up their control system.

The Leaf Bloom has an interesting design that you aren’t going to have seen in other sex toys. I’m not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. The Leaf has a “leaf” like head on one side with a long, thinner “stem” on the opposing side. Each one of the ends has its own motors, and you can control both motors using the buttons on the shaft. The Leaf end is more flattened in size while the stem end is more rounded. The stem end contains the controls for the vibrator, so if you are hoping to insert the stem end for pleasure, keep that in mind.

The Leaf Bloom vibrator is rechargeable. There is a charging port at the bottom of the stem end where a large socket plugs into it. This socket does have to be kinda “forced” in the first time, but it’s not a big deal – just be aware that it happens. Once it’s plugged in, a red light will show up until it’s done charging. The manual recommends charging this one for at least 3 hours when you first receive it, but the vibrator does seem to come pretty fully charged from the warehouse.

The control buttons of the Leaf Bloom Vibrator

Controlling the vibrations is easy. The Leaf Bloom uses the “Press and Hold” technology. This makes controlling the vibrator very simple. If you want stronger vibrations, you just hold down the button and the vibrations get stronger. For weaker vibrations, you just press the button once, and the vibrator turns off. You can then press and hold to the desired level. There are two buttons on the shaft of the Leaf Bloom, and each one corresponds to one of the two motors. Both motors can be operated independantly of each other.

The vibrations are okay. They are in the middle of moderate. They seem like they could be much, much more strong, but the fact that they are buzzy tends to hold them back. The Leaf-shaped end is the stronger of the two ends, but the stem-shaped end is much quieter. The stem end can barely be heard in the same room, but the Leaf side can definitely be heard in the same room. If you are okay with surface, buzzy vibrations (which seems to be what this toy was designed for when you include the flexibility aspect of the shaft), the Leaf Bloom may provide enough strength for you for orgasm.

For use, it really depends on what you want out of the Leaf Bloom. The middle part of the shaft, as shown in the pictures, is pretty flexible. This is a good thing or a bad thing depending on your preferences. I personally, whether for g-spot or for clitoral use, like a good, hard feeling of pressure. Because the Leaf Bloom does bend in the middle, it’s pretty impossible to get any sort of good pressure out of this silicone vibrator. This means that you really can’t get g-spot stimulation, or if you use it externally, you really can’t get good clitoral pressure out of either end of this vibrator. For me, that’s a pretty big deal breaker – just because I require that for both of my main two uses of a vibrator.

If you don’t require it, though, the Leaf vibrator can be a good choice. The vibrations tend to work better if they are very lightly pressed against the skin instead of having pressure applied, and both ends do vibrate which allows you to choose which side you want.

I still have found a pretty okay use for this vibrator. While it’s not large, the stem side of the Leaf Bloom can be used for insertion, and the vibrations on that end feel pleasurable when inserted. It isn’t the use I had planned for the vibrator, but it does end up working pretty well. The only problem is that the buttons for controlling the Leaf Bloom are on this end, so you really can’t change the vibrations after you’ve already inserted it.

Cleaning this Leaf vibrator is easy as its one of those luxury adult toys. It’s also waterproof. You can use warm water and antibacterial soap to clean it off, and due to the small shape, it easily slides into a condom as well. It’s only compatible with water-based lubricant because of the silicone material, and I recommend storing it in the storage pouch that comes with the vibrator. The silicone doesn’t tend to pick up too much lint, but you’ll want some sort of protection for it.

Overall, I like the Leaf Bloom, and I think it’s a good vibrator, but this is not the vibrator for me. I require strong and a good, firm pressure both internal and external use, and while the design of the Leaf Bloom is promising, the fact that it bends so easily means that it isn’t for me. The packaging and the vibrator both are good quality, though, so if you don’t require strong pressure, the Leaf Bloom could be just what you may want. Thanks to TabuToys for sending out one of their Vibrators for my Leaf Bloom review.
