The D-rings are secured very heavy-duty like, so you can get some extremely rough use out of these, and they will hold up just fine.
The cuffs are comfortable, and they do have some padding on the inside to make them even more comfortable for regular wear. The padding isn’t much, but it’s enough to keep the firm leather from feeling uncomfortable against your skin. You can still feel the firm leather with the padding, though, so don’t expect them to be plushy – the cuffs do feel like bondage, but they aren’t really uncomfortable at all.
The cuffs fasten with a regular buckle fastener on the side. However, at the end of the fastener, the buckle includes a metal tip for looks and probably to help keep the “buckle” down against the cuff. This works okay if you’re using the Pink Wrist Bondage Restraints down at the smaller setting. When having the setting set to smaller, the metal fastener will be pulled up against the cuff and kept out of the way due to the extra D-ring that it threads into. However, if you have larger wrists, the fastener doesn’t have enough excess length to thread into the extra D-ring. This means that you have the excess leather hanging off of the cuff with the metal piece hanging off with it. It’s not really too much of an issue, but it’s something that does look a bit odd, and if it touches yourskin, it might feel a bit cold to the touch too.
The cuffs are really comfortable and cute, and I like how they do have a matching set. I wish they were a bit more softened as, especially for the tighter settings, it can be really difficult to get the cuffs to fold in that way. It’s like the leather needs to be softened more before the cuffs will fold into such a tight circle, and that can be difficult to fight with – especially when you’re really just wanting to play. I recommend storing it with the sizing you would use for play to help soften up the leather. Flexing the leather will help soften it up more quickly as well.
Cleaning the Pink Wrist Bondage Restraints is pretty simple. You just want to wipe them down with a damp cloth, but make sure that you don’t soak them. Let them air dry. You then should leave them out in a well-ventilated area for best leather health. Try to avoid getting bodily fluids on them if you plan on sharing with others.
Overall, I do like the Pink Wrist Bondage Restraints. They are really cute, they are definitely made to last long-term, and they’re comfortable without being too plushy.
