Picobong Tano

The Picobong Tano next to the Picobong dice

The Picobong Tano vibrator is an anal vibrator made from silicone and plastic and sold by Paris Intimates. It is about four inches long, and it has a diameter of slightly under an inch. With one battery (AAA), it should get about two hours of use. It includes regular, steady vibration patterns as well as patterned vibration patterns as well.

This Picobong Tano review will not cover everything about this Tano vibrator as I covered the Picobong vibrator controls, the battery system, the packaging, and how their vibrations are over at my Picobong Vibrators Overview post. Please go there and check out that information for futher information about the use of the toy. This review will deal with the specific information on the Picobong Tano.

Showing the base of the toy

The Tano anal vibrator was intended to be an anal vibrator. It includes a silicone shaft as well as a plastic base to keep it anal-safe. The vibrator is widest near the middle, and it moves down to a smaller width towards the base of the vibrator. However, I don’t think that it was meant to be a stay-in anal plug – more of a plug only for a short duration of use.

Out of all of the Picobong toys, I probably dislike this one the most. To start off with, the plastic base is not very comfortable. It is made of rigid plastic, and as such, it doesn’t fit comfortably between the cheeks. Other toys, like the Nexus or Aneros toys are made of plastic, but their base is much, much smaller. With the Picobong Tano, the base is about an inch in width which makes using it for any sort of sitting/standing position uncomfortable. It does, however, work okay if you tend to spread your legs while inserting a plug. (Imagine if you were straddling something between your legs) For the most part, though, especially if you have a larger butt, the base of this plug can be really uncomfortable to wear.

Again, another look for the base

The other issue is the control placement. The controls to control the Picobong Tano are actually on the shaft the toy. This would work great if the toy wasn’t meant to be inserted, but as this one is meant to go into your butt, the controls will go along with it. This means that you can’t change the strength of the vibrations once the toy has been inserted. If this isn’t a problem for you, then you probably won’t mind, but for us, that was definitely bothersome as we like to change vibration strengths during use.

Overall, I can’t really recommend the Picobong Tano vibrator unless you have some specific needs: you won’t mind the plastic base and you rarely change the vibration setting mid-use. If those two things don’t really apply to you, I’d say that the Picobong Tano is not a good toy for you. However, you could definitely get it and use it as a regular vibrator with the base as a handle for using it if you wanted. Thanks to Paris Intimates for providing this anal vibrator for my Picobong Tano review.
