The Remote Control 10-Function Little Black Panty vibrator is a set of a remote-controlled vibrator with a pair of side-tie panties. This set is manufactured by California Exotics. The vibrator and remote are both plastic, and the panties are made One Size Fits Most and are made from elastic and lace. The vibrator portion is supposed to be waterproof, and it should fit comfortably in the crotch liner of any set of panties.
The packaging is pretty basic. It comes in a regular cardboard box that displays pictures of the women in the panties (and the toy) on the front of the box. It also talks about the features throughout the packaging. It says that this set is the perfect accessory to the Little Black Dress. Inside the packaging, each individual item comes in its own plastic bag.
This set comes with a pair of side-tie panties, a remote control, and a vibrating bullet. The bullet runs on two AAA batteries (not included) while the remote runs on a 23A bullet (which is included). Neither seem to have an “off” switch, so pull out the batteries after use to avoid running the batteries dry from overuse. The range of the remote to the vibrator is supposed to be about 20 feet.
The panties are alright. They seem really sexy when you first see them, and they are relatively sexy. However, they just don’t work well with this set. The panties include elastic along the front and the back waistbands of the panties. While this seems fine, the vibrator that slips into the panties is relatively heavy. (It’s not too heavy, but once you add in two AAA batteries, it’s certainly like having a light-weight cell phone in your panties). With the elastic in place, the panties will end up squeezing their way over your hips when you’re wearing them, and oops! You’ll have no more panties!
That aspect is not helped by the fact that the sides are side ties. I don’t know about you, but if I want to pull up my pants or underwear, I grab at the hips. Well, as your panties are sliding down (from the weight of the vibrator in them), if you go to grab at the hips of your panties, you may actually accidentally untie your panties which is an even-bigger oopsie. Also, because of the ties and the strings that hold the panties up, these sexy panties will certainly have panty-lines that would show through a sleek dress.
For the good things, though, the panties certainly can be cute. They seem to have a bit of extra room in the butt area, and the pictures show them being worn relatively high-up on the backside, so that may be why we had that issue. The panties are soft (for lace), and they aren’t too scratchy like we’ve had with other panties. They are certainly comfortable enough to wear for a night out, but because of the lace, I wouldn’t want to do too much movement (a full day’s worth) in them. The side ties also make it easily possible for this to fit a variety of sizes. The lace panels on the front and back of the panties don’t get “larger” like the sides do. For that reason, if you tend to have a larger butt or a larger front, these panties may not cover you if you’re in the plus-sizes. I’d say that the panties will easily fit a size 0 to a size 14 though, but I’d say it’s more iffy any larger than that because of the fabric panels on the front and the back.
The wireless capabilities of this toy are okay. There are times when you have to press the button twice to make it transmit the vibrations like it’s supposed to, but for the most part, when you press the button on the remote, the vibrations will change in the vibrator. It does seem to have more issues when you use it with thick clothing like heavy jeans instead of a thin dress or pajama pants though, so that’s something to keep in mind.
The vibrations are alright. This vibrator includes ten speeds – each of which are controlled by pressing the button in the remote. The button in the remote is a single button; there is no other control for the bullet. If you want to get to a speed, you have to scroll through all of the speeds with the remote. If you want to turn it off, you have to hold down the button until the toy turns off. The vibration, at the highest setting, is on the higher side of moderate. It probably is not enough for orgasm for most people, but it’s possible that you could orgasm from the vibrations if you are sensitive to vibrations.
The biggest downside to this vibrator is the fact that it’s so loud. It isn’t loud enough to be heard outside of a closed door, but the packaging and name of this vibrator seems like this toy is intended to be used in public, and for that, it is way too loud. When you are in a quiet room, it emits a very noticable buzz. When you’re watching television, it’s much less noticable, but it definitely is more of a “What is that sound?” type of noise. If you really wanted to use this out in public, your best bet would be a loud place like a sports bar or a club atmosphere. In smaller, “little black dress” places like a restaurant or a sit-down place for food, you’ll find that the buzzing is just way too loud to be discreet.
The last issue is just that the placement is a bit off. The vibrator seems like it is supposed to slip into the clothed panty liner that most panties have built-in. The vibrator ends up sitting much closer to your vulva area than near the clitoris which will not lead to orgasms for most women. It certainly could be pleasurable though!
From what I can tell, the best use for this kit would be at home. You don’t have to worry about the panties slipping off, the side-ties are great for easy access instead of an issue, and you can deal with the louder vibrations without anyone asking questions. If you’re looking into this item, I’d say that it’s certainly best for at-home use.
Overall, as much as I hate to say it, I probably wouldn’t recommend this vibrator. The heavy weight of the vibrator drags down the panties, and the side-tie panties do make it difficult to keep the panties pulled up. The vibrator doesn’t tend to stay in the right place for a pleasurable orgasm, and there’s no “oh shit!” button (instead, you have to hold down the single button for two seconds to shut it off). However, if you want a pair of cute panties just to wear around the house for the wireless functions, this could end up working well for you.
