UPDATE MAY 2022: These sex coupons do not seem to be currently in production; however, you can find sex coupons virtually anywhere at this point. This sex toy review remains as a reference for those who are interested. While you’re here, why not check out my BDSM advice, femdom advice, and BDSM scene outlines?
The Sex! Coupons is a book of coupons. The coupon book includes 20 perforated coupons that name and show a sex position for the coupon to try. The coupons are about three inches tall and six inches long, and they are full-color with no design on the back.
Each coupon displays a couple of things. For one, it has a perforation along the left-hand edge of the coupon that makes it easy to tear out the coupon to give to a partner. Just like some types of checks, there’s information on the left-hand side of the coupon that allows you to fill in the To, From, Date Given, Date Redeemed, and Notes if you want to look back at the coupon’s spot. As the little remaining portion that includes this information is pretty tiny (and doesn’t show a picture of the sex position), it could be pretty darned difficult to figure out what, exactly, the sex position that you tried out was, so if you really want to track what the sex position was, draw a quick drawing of the position on the back (as it is a clear white).
The design of the coupons are all very, very similar. Each one is in color and features a black background with a panties-and-bra woman arching her back along the length of the coupon. The words “This Coupon is Good For: (Sex position Name)” is written overtop of the picture of the woman. In the corner of the coupon (at about a square inch in size) there is a line-figure illustration of a man and a woman acting out the name of the position. You can easily see what the two people are doing, but it does not describe anything about the position nor tell you how to get into the position.
Throughout the coupon book, there are no position names that you’d expect. It appears that the Sex! Coupon book makers ended up changing the names for the positions. There are positions like “One Supported Swirl”, “Sexy Swirl”, “Wrangler”, “Kneeling Goddess”, and “Mynx Mating”. Just by the names, you will have no idea what the positions are, and the pictures are really there to help you figure out what, exactly, each position is supposed to show.
The sex positions are definitely on the harder side of sex positions. You won’t be finding anything like your typical missionary position in here, but there are a couple of modified missionaries, so I’d suggest that you probably be flexible or willing to make modifications to the pictures of the sex positions. For example, one of the sex positions shows a woman gripping onto her chair with her arms and the guy supporting her hips as he holds her in the air. Others include sitting sex positions, and other easier positions, but as a whole, the positions are on the harder side rather than on the easier side. They will probably be challenging, but if you like a challenge, it will work well for you.
Overall, this coupon book is okay, but I don’t think I’d recommend it to everyone unless you specifically want sex position coupons to give to your partner. The small pictures make it a bit hard to figure out the specifics of the position, and a book would definitely show more positions as well. However, the coupons are easy to tear out and easy to write on, so if you specifically want sex coupons to give to a partner that offer specific sex positions, the Sex! Coupons may end up working well for you.
