The VixSkin Johnny is a VixSkin, silicone dildo made by Vixen Creations. The VixSkin Johnny includes a realistic appearance, testicles, and a harness-compatible base. The Johnny is about seven inches long with a circumference of 5 1/2 inches at the base and a diameter of about two inches.
The packaging for the VixSkin Johnny is different than other VixSkin dildos that usually come in the round tube. This is because the Johnny has testicles, so it, sadly, wouldn’t fit in the tube. Instead, the Johnny comes in a VixSkin box that easily closes via the latching sides. The box comes with all of the information that the tube normally includes including product features and the VixSkin logo. The dildo can be stored in the box for long-term use, but as the box is a softer-type of plastic, please do not store any heavier objects on top of the box as the box would then squish the poor little Johnny.
The VixSkin Johnny is a VixSkin version of the Vixen Creations Johnny. The Johnny was their most popular design, so they remade it with VixSkin material. VixSkin is a type of silicone material, so it is non-porous just like your average silicone is. This particular dildo includes realistic veins, a realistic head, and detailed testicles on the harness-compatible base.
If you’ve never had the pleasure of VixSkin material, I certainly must say that it feels really, really nice. The underside of the shaft is the least squishy while the upper portion of the shaft is much more squishy. The head of the dildo is the most squishy, and you can really reduce the size of the head in half by squishing it. It definitely feels different than your average silicone toy, and the neat thing is the “dual-density’ material. Basically, there’s a firm, inner core that keeps the dildo from falling over. Surrounding this inner core, there’s a soft, squishy outer layer that moves along the inner core. It’s nothing like real, human skin, but it certainly feels a lot different than your average silicone.
The only downside to VixSkin is the fact that it certainly has quite a bit of drag to it. I really dislike the sensation of the drag, so during use, I always cover it with a condom. During anal use, I always cover it with a condom anyway as I wouldn’t want any icky scents to stick to the VixSkin material. Using the condom really cuts down on the drag of the material which, if you hate lubricant absorption and dragging against your skin, will be a good thing for you. For oral use, though, we don’t cover it with anything, and luckily, VixSkin is completely odor and taste-free. It also doesn’t have that awkward, squeaky feeling when your teeth touch the rubber; it’s much more giving.
I think the best use for the VixSkin Johnny is really for those who enjoy the realism of the dildo. Vixen put a lot of time and effort into the smaller details that go into the toy itself. As stated above, it really is hard to find a toy that has this much detail put into it. If you are someone who really wants to enjoy the feeling of a realistic cock (to maybe make the fantasies more real?), the VixSkin Johnny does an amazing job with it. The size is very life-like, and the curve looks like what a real penis could look like as well. Again, though, the texture of the dildo does create some drag, so it doesn’t glide in nearly as smoothly as a human penis would, so if you want something closer to the real sensation during insertion, I’d recommend covering it with a condom.
This dildo is also harness-compatible. The testicles on the dildo may not fit as comfortably as if the dildo did not have testicles, but this one does. Depending on your harness, this may make it a snugger fit than one without testicles. The dildo itself is pretty weighty, and you certainly will remember that you’re wearing the strap-on. It doesn’t droop, but when horizontal in the harness, the curve does straighten out quite a bit. It won’t appear nearly as curvy. Because of the skin tone’s realism, though, you may find that you actually feel like you own a cock. I know I do when I’m strapping this one on. It’s actually pretty amazing. The base of the toy is also very, very firm, so it does support the toy well. The testicles on the base are squishy, but the base itself feels more like plastic than the silicone, so it does a good job of holding it up. The Johnny also easily will sit on its base upright on a shelf or something like that for storage.
If you are curious how this VixSkin dildo compares to other realistic-material dildos out there, I did write a post about it: Comparison of Realistic Dildo Materials . That includes pictures and compares O2, VixSkin, Super Soft, and Happy Valley.
Cleaning the Johnny is extremely easy. You can just use warm water and antibacterial soap for regular cleaning, or this dildo can also be boiled or placed in the top shelf of the dishwasher. It should only be used with water-based lubricant, and while it doesn’t collect a ton of lint, it will collect some lint, so please do avoid storing it near the dryer or any place with lots of flyaways. I’ve been keeping it sitting out on a shelf, and it seems to work just fine there.
Overall, the VixSkin Johnny does have an interesting, dragged texture on the outside of the dildo that I wasn’t fond of, but it also is extremely realistic and perfect for oral use. The testicles are soft, squishy, and detailed, and the base makes it easy for this dildo to stand on its own or slip easily into a harness. This dildo really excels in looking realistic and especially sexy when in a harness, but I do prefer to cover it with a condom during usage because of the drag. For realistic harness use, though, the VixSkin Johnny certainly provides.
