The Black 4″ Marabou Pumps are sexy shoes sold by TabuToys. These shows are made by Ellie (which makes a ton of sexy shoes), and it is available in sizes up to 10. The shoe is a typical bedroom sexy shoe with marabou around the top of the shoe.
The shoe box is gorgeous, and it looks like a typical shoebox. The lid of the box is pink and says “Ellie” on it while the bottom portion is a plain black. It looks really pretty when put together. The shoe box does show a picture of the heel on the outside, but it doesn’t say anything particularly sexy, so the box is discreet. Inside the box, the shoes comes with storage bags to keep your shoes look nicer for even longer.
I’m a firm believer that everyone should own some sexy shoes. In fact, sometimes I feel like we have more shoes than I even know what to do with. I suppose such is what happens when you have a bit of a shoe fetish. However, even with my shoe fetish, extreme heels just don’t work for me. I can’t really wear any heels higher than a four inch just because it ends up being too painful and I just don’t have the coordination for something like that.
Plus, when you see a pair of heels like these, they just scream “sex shoes!”, don’t they? I mean, you know these can’t be practical shoes because practical shoes wouldn’t have the fluff on them. In fact, I wouldn’t wear these shoes outside at all because of that marabou material; any water could really damage the feathers, and they may never look as sexy again. These are definitely the epitome of “bedroom shoes”, and that’s really what makes them sexy. They’re like the sexy twin of the bedroom slipper, and I love it.
The shoes themselves are gorgeous. Each one includes a plastic heel along with textured shoe bottoms to avoid slipping. The tops of the shoes (the part with the marabou) seems to be made with a slip-resistant material to avoid your feet slipping around in the shoes. The marabou on the top is very fluffy, and it is glued onto the shoe very well. I’ve had no issue with any of it falling off while dragging the shoe around and doing some durability tests on it. The heel and the underside of the shoe is clear and see-through.
One of my biggest annoyances with shoes is when they have a slippery or plastic inner sole. When you’ve been wearing shoes for awhile, your feet can get sweaty, and who wants to slip around in their shoes? I know I don’t! The neat thing about these shoes is the fact that you don’t slip around in them. The soles of the shoes are made of a sweat-resistant material that feels a lot like suede. Your feet don’t slide, and they do a good job of keeping your feet in the proper place in the shoe.
Now, just so you can compare, I usually wear a size ten shoe, sometimes wide-width, but I can usually wear regular sizes just fine though they may be a little tight. I definitely was expecting these to be a little tight on my feet, but I was really surprised to find that they were actually too tight! I was really sad. There’s no way for my foot to slide completely into the shoes. Comparing the shoes to some of my other size ten, regular-width heels, it looks like the width of these Ellie shoes actually is smaller than the average regular width. If you normally have a bit of room to go with regular width shoes, you’d be fine with these, but if you normally are a bit tight with regular-width, these may not work for you.
With the sizing a bit off, I really can’t wear these shoes. I’ve brought them around the house and attempted to wear them multiple times just for durability testing, but I really can not wear them in the bedroom like I’d like. They’re so sexy, though, so it’s almost taunting that I can not wear these shoes like I’d enjoy doing. When I try, my feet just don’t fit into the shoes, and the top of the shoe actually cuts into my skin as well. I absolutely do love how these shoes look though, and I wish I could wear them.
These shoes look beautiful, and they have all of the features that I like in my shoes – an obvious “sexy bedroom look”, a clear, see-through heel that’s still manageable, slip-resistant soles, and the ability to go perfectly with pretty much any lingerie. I wish I could fit my feet into them, but alas, I can not. However, I definitely think you should look into purchasing them if you think your feet will fit; they are just downright sexy.
