Zini Hua Review

Zini Hua
The Zini Hua

The Zini Hua is a luxury rabbit-style vibrator that is made by Zini. The vibrator is made from silicone and plastic, and it includes the amazing control panel on the front side of it. The vibrator is splashproof, includes five steady vibration speeds, and fifteen different patterned modes. It puts out at a frequency of 160hz. The full length of the vibrator is about eight inches long with the insertable portion being about three to three and a half inches long. The clitoral arm is about an inch in length.

The packaging for the Zini Hua, just like all Zini vibrators, is just downright amazing. The vibrator comes in a large, textured black box. This black box has a decorative label around it, but that label is very easy to remove. The black box itself just says “Zini”, and if you need to be discreet, is perfect for storage because it doesn’t look like its a sex toy. However, I find that the box is much too big for the size of the Zini Hua, so I, even though I think the packaging is downright amazing, always remove the vibrator from the box. The box also comes with a quick-start guide, an instruction manual, the charger, and the storage bag. The neat thing about this box is that the Zini toy comes with a Quality-Control sticker, and there’s no way to open the box without breaking the seal. Along with that, the box will seal itself, when nearly closed, with a magnet, so the box doesn’t fall apart.

To recharge this vibrator, there is a charging port at the base of the Zini Hua. This port blends in wonderfully with the surrounding area of the toy, and it is covered by a silicone piece that will keep the messes from going into the port. The charger plugs in really easily into the port, and when charging, it will blink the LED colors during charging. These colors, like the feature explained below that tells you how charged your vibrator is, actually changes in color depending on how close to completion your charge is. The average charge time is about two hours, and off that, your vibrator will last about three hours. You shouldn’t charge it for more than 24 hours.

Controlling this vibrator is amazingly simple. I honestly wish all vibrators would follow this method to go from regular vibrations to patterned vibrations. It’s very easy to learn. The Plus and Minus sign on the control panel correspond to strengthening and weakening of the vibrations while the inner, circular button switches between the modes. While it’s on steady vibrations, press the circular, center button, and it will turn to the patterns. Once in pattern mode, the Plus and Minus button will then change the vibration modes. At the same time, the Zini Hua includes “Travel Lock” which you can lock the vibrator to make sure it won’t turn on during travel. It’s very easy to lock by just pressing the Plus and Minus button at the same time. The vibrator does come in a locked state, so you do need to unlock it before use.

All of the Zini vibrators use the exact same settings for the vibrational patterns and features, so if you learn one vibrator, you’ve learned them all. That makes it pretty easy if you find yourself wanting to collect all of the Zini toys. At the same time, if you haven’t owned a Zini toy before, you definitely will want to check out the Quick Start guide before starting to play with your toy. The Quick Start makes it easy to learn all of the functions of your vibrator, and believe me, there are a ton of functions that you’re going to want to know about. However, that’s not to say that you HAVE to learn about them. This one functions amazingly well as a regular, non-luxury vibrator, but if you want to take it to its full potential, you just have to read through the instructions and figure out all of the extra features.

What are these extra features? Well, there are quite a few! For one, this vibrator can tell you how charged the battery is and how charged it isn’t. For another, it also has an amazingly large amount of vibrational patterns included, and the neat thing about these patterns is the fact that they are color-coded as well. For partner play, this is amazing. If you tell your partner you like blinking pink, they can easily tell which vibrational pattern they are currently using on you and can easily go to the blinking pink. For self-use, it’s just pretty darn awesome to see which pattern you are on, see the LED lights, and be able to remember it for future use.

What about the other function – telling how charged the vibrator is? Well, unlike other vibrators, with the Zini Hua, the vibrator can tell you how charged up it is. If you press and hold the middle circular button for two seconds, the vibrator will blink an LED color. The color of the LED corresponds to how much battery life your vibrator currently has left. Based on this decision, you could choose to charge it or not. For example, I just charged mine, my Zini Hua displays the green backlight which means that it has over 95% of power.

I think the biggest problem with the Zini Hua is that the vibrations just weren’t placed correctly, in my opinion, for proper stimulation. I definitely very strongly feel that, for the most effectiveness, this vibrator should have included stronger motors. As it stands, the stronger motor for the Zini Hua is located directly towards the middle of the shaft while the weaker one seems to be located in the clitoral arm. To be honest, I can’t even feel the clitoral motor, so it maybe could use a boost in strength. This means that neither the clitoral portion nor the tip of the shaft receives strong vibrations. The shaft of the vibrator tends to get stronger settings than the clitoral portion does. I think this is because the clitoral portion seems to be made of pure silicone, and it’s probably hard for vibrations to easily travel through all of that and still be strong.

This is probably my biggest complaint though, and it is what made me choose the rating I did. I need stronger vibrations. While the design was amazing, I loved the insertable portion, and the clitoral portion was perfect for my anatomy, the clitoral vibrations were, even on high, about as strong as a bullet vibrator. I just need more vibrations than that. Despite the toy being very pleasurable in design, the vibrational aspect is really what kept me from enjoying it, and I found myself really disappointed with the clitoral vibrations. The shaft vibrations were good enough for good, inner stimulation, but when it came to external stimulation, I just needed more from the Zini Hua. On the bright side, the vibrations are virtually silent, and it’s hard to hear the vibrations in the same room.

The neatest aspect, though, is the size of the Zini Hua’s insertable portion. It’s only about three inches in length, and at the largest, it’s only about an inch in diameter. The texture is very pleasurable, and it’s very easy to insert. I love the fact that Zini did this because a lot of the rabbit vibrators out there have gigantic shafts, and unless you really want that filling feeling (which some people do not), you may find yourself with very little rabbit vibrator options. However, with the Zini Hua, the insertable portion is just the perfect size for insertion. It won’t feel filling, but it goes in easily, the texture is very pleasurable while inserting it, and the clitoral shaft presses comfortably and firmly – but not painfully. I really loved the size and design of the Zini Hua, but the vibrations were the issue.

Cleaning the Zini Hua is about the same as cleaning all other Zini toys. It needs to be washed with warm water and antibacterial soap, but do take care to keep the water away from the charging port as this vibrator is only splashproof. For use with other partners, make sure to use a condom for sterilization. This vibrator is only compatible with water-based lubricants, and for storage, you can keep it in the bag or in the box.

Overall, I sincerely like the Zini Hua for their thoughts in innovation, but in this case, the basic design of the toy seems to have gotten in the way of my enjoyment of the tons of features that are included with it. If you like softer vibrations, this may be just the rabbit that you’re looking for, but for me, who enjoys really strong vibrations, I do with that the motors on the Zini Hua could have provided stronger sensations.
