Nexus Gyro Male G-Spot Massager Review

The Nexus Gyro is a male prostate toy created by Nexus and sold by TabuToys sex toys. This is a silicone toy that includes a rounded base for easy rocking back and forth. This male sex toy is about six and a half inches long, and it has a diameter of about an inch and 3/4, so this is a larger toy.

The packaging for the Nexus Gyro is a cylindric plastic tube where the Gyro goes in. The lid can be difficult to take on and off, and I only put the lid on half-way. The packaging insert actually includes instructions for using the Gyro on the backside, and it lists other Nexus toys as well, so you get other Nexus toys if this one impresses you.

The Gyro actually does not vibrate. I’ve had a couple Nexus toys in the past, and they’ve always vibrated, so I was surprised when I found out that the Gyro is just a prostate dildo instead of being a vibrator like my past experience. We were able to add vibrations by holding a vibrator up against the base of the toy, but that was very hard to do while doing the “proper” use of the toy while sitting on it. I was also very surprised by the size of this plug. I know the measurements are given, but this thing definitely looks a LOT wider than it seems in the picture. Make sure you measure out the measurements before purchasing as this one is definitely large.

The basic instructions for the Nexus Gyro are simple. The Gyro should be inserted into the butt, and then you are supposed to relax for 10-15 minutes to give yourself time to adjust. After your body has adjusted, you are supposed to rock back and forth on the Gyro with or with penis stimulation until you feel that you’re about to orgasm. When you feel like you’re about to orgasm, you then are supposed to stop stimulating the penis and just rock back and forth onto the Gyro.

We had slight luck with the Gyro in this manner. For one, it is definitely a large toy, so it took quite a bit of warm-up to get this prostate sex toy inserted. Once we had the toy inserted, like mentioned below, the base was uncomfortable for him to sit on. He could sit on it, but he said it did make it a bit distracting. He also says that he feels like the toy was very pleasurable, but any time he’d get close to orgasm, the toy itself wouldn’t be able to push him over the edge. I think it has something more to do with our newness to the toy rather than the toy itself. We don’t use many prostate toys, so I’m sure if you’ve used more prostate toys and are more accustomed to it, this has an extreme enough curve (and he says it’s pleasurable enough) to make ejaculation through the prostate possible.

The base can definitely bit a bit uncomfortable. I think this depends on your size though. My boyfriend is a pretty skinny guy, so there isn’t much padding on his butt to protect his butt from the chair or wherever he’s sitting. If he sits on the carpet or on a firm surface with this plug in, it’s uncomfortable for him. If you have a bigger butt, though, this may not be the case for you. For us, it did distract him enough where he had a hard time purely focusing on the sensations of rocking the plug back and forth, and instead, was more focused on just wanting to finish up the couple times we tried it.

Cleaning this is extremely easy. Since it’s made from silicone, the toy itself can be sterilized by boiling it which means you can use it vaginally as well (with a female). It can also be covered in a condom as well. For regular cleaning, you can use warm water and anti-bacterial soap. I’m not much of a fan of the anal toy smell, so we leave our toy soaked in water overnight after use, and it pretty much keeps all of any smell away. This can be used with water-based lubricant but not silicone-based. For storage, it doesn’t pick up lint or anything, so you can toss it in a sock drawer, but otherwise, the container it comes in does work really well for storage as well.

Overall, the Nexus Gyro, while it takes time to insert, can produce very pleasurable sensations for us. He really enjoys it, and he says that it has a nice, extreme curve that most male prostate toys don’t have, and he’s very fond of it. However, because of how large it is, this is not a toy we can play with very often, so it just tends to come out on occasion. He does like it, though, so if we have the patience for warm-up, it is pleasurable – even if it can’t get him to a prostate orgasm quite yet. Thanks to TabuToys adult toys for sending us this prostate stimulators for my Nexus Gyro review.
