Boss Cock’s Pleasure Ring Review

Without the outer box. Can see the batteries and the cock ring.

At the recommendation of some of the great folks over at this great toy store, I decided to purchase this cock ring. My boyfriend had been stealing my vibrators and ended up realizing he liked the pleasure of vibrations, so I thought I’d get him his own little toy.

The cock ring itself is an Evolved product that comes in a small, black, plastic package. There’s words all over this little package, but no naked chicks or anything. There is a small picture of a rooster’s head, though. It comes with two extra batteries right in the packaging as well as the two watch batteries already loaded into the bullet itself. When it comes to storage, I’d recommend you keep the packaging for storage unless you have a place that you will be able to find these two watch batteries to replace the batteries later. The packaging itself comes with the holes for the watch batteries built in.

Outside of the box. Sorry about the horrid glare. My camera wouldn't get a clear picture without it.

This cock ring is made out of a very stretchy material. It will stretch out until about two inches, and we had no problem putting it on. When we were putting it on, it also didn’t pull on his hair at all. The phthalates-free TPR material that it’s made out of includes a large hole where the bullet belongs. It also included some ribbing stripes along the bottom side of the bullet-holder as well as some “bumps” along the ring itself for extra stimulation and just for aesthetics. The bullet that my “Red” cock ring came with was more honestly a darker shade of pink. The bullet itself does take two watch-sized batteries which come ready-to-use with the package. Removing the bullet from the cock ring does become a matter of squirming it out of it’s little protective jelly. During use, there’s no way this bullet would fall out.

The bullet itself is is about an inch and a half long, and you just unscrew the top half to load in more batteries if needed. To start the vibrations, you just pretty the button firmly down for a second or so. If you don’t press it down firmly enough, it will just vibrate only while your finger is holding the button. To turn it off, it’s the exact same process, just reversed. It only has the single-speed of vibrations, but those vibrations are very powerful for this tiny little bullet – I was actually surprised. It’s also the quietest vibrations I’ve ever heard. I can barely hear these vibrations while the bullet is turned on on my lap. The button to operate the bullet sticks out of the cock ring while it’s in use, so it’s not hard at all to turn this little guy on and off.

Just a picture of the bottom-side of the cock ring so you can see the ridging as well as the bumps on the ring itself.

From what I can tell, it did restrict blood during its use. He could feel the vibrations, but only faintly. It was a lot better success than I’ve heard about with other cock rings, however. He definitely could tell that he was wearing a cock ring, and he said that it increased his sensitivity quite a bit.

It does claim to be waterproof, and after submerging the cock ring underwater for a couple seconds, it doesn’t appear to have taken on any water with the bullet. It also says it’s long-lasting, and from what I’ve seen of the ring, it does look like it will last for a very long time. It looks to be very easy to tear unless you’re trying to pull it to unrealistic lengths.

The bullet should be removed for easiest cleaning. Since it’s just rubber, it can not be sterilized. Warm soap and water should allow for the best cleaning. I’d make sure that the bullet was closed tightly before cleaning it. If wishing to use lubricant with it, water-based or silicone-based should both be safe.

As always, remember safety when using a cock ring. Since it is a toy that restricts blood flow, it really shouldn’t be left on for any longer than thirty minutes – especially if no sexual activity is going on. It also shouldn’t be used too frequently (three times a day is too much) but a couple times a week is fine.

All-in-all, I did enjoy the Cock Ring. I wouldn’t call it perfect since my boyfriend could barely feel the vibrations, but it was very well-made. It looks like it will be a toy we go to in the future when we’re not sure what toy we want to play with. If you’re looking to own a Boss Cock’s Pleasure Ring, head over to this trusted toy store and pick one up.
