The Fleshjack Vortex Masturbator is a Fleshlight with a butt orifice and sold by TabuToys. The entire Fleshjack series is aimed towards gay males, but those toys can just as easily be used by straight males who enjoy the idea of anal. The Fleshjack “Bottom’s Up” Vortex Masturbator is basically a Cyberskin sleeve that is inserted into a large, plastic 10″ inch tall case for use. The plastic case also includes a lid that hides the butt orifice portion and makes it look more like a “Flashlight” – hence, the name. As you can guess, this Fleshlight has the butt orifice along with the Vortex inner texture.

The Fleshlights are all stored in about the same manner – in a large, tin with the brand on the side of the tin. In this case, the tin is black and blue and shows the “Fleshjack” logo on the side. Since the plastic casing of the Fleshlight itself actually serves as sufficient storage, you only need to keep the tin if you like it or have multiple Fleshlights to tell them apart. The tin is about a foot tall, easily fits the toy itself, comes with a sample of Flesh Lube and a guide about care instructions for your male sex toy.

The Vortex is one of the more unique textures that Fleshjack provides. It basically is a relatively tight texture with a little downward facing triangles etched into the sides of the sleeve. The triangles continue all the way down the sleeve and basically just provide little ridges on the sides of the sleeve. Along with this, it features some tighter and looser spots in the actual diameter of the sleeve. The Fleshlight site rates it as a 4/5 on the intensity scale, so it was definitely intended to be a strong sensation.

I didn’t think the orifice entrance was going to make much of a difference during use, but the boyfriend reports that he enjoys the butt orifice a lot more than the vaginal or mouth orifice. He says it’s because the entrance to the sleeve is right at the very edge and starts off extremely tight while the other orifices start off more loosely and with more area for insertion. So if you have no preference with orifices, the boyfriend definitely states that this orifice is the best one.

Something about all Fleshlights is that the user can easily control the pressure that is going on inside of the toy. At the end of the plastic case is a little cap that can either be tighten or loosen to adjust the pressure inside of the Fleshlight. Unlike some other masturbators, this pressure cap really works, and you can adjust your pressure on the go depending on how much pressure you’d enjoy. This is one of the main reasons that the boyfriend keeps coming back to the Fleshlight/FleshJack series even after trying other male masturbators.

While I do a lot for sex science, I'm not willing to cut my new toy in half, so here's the picture from Fleshlight.com showing the Vortex inner texture.

How was use itself? Well, the boyfriend really enjoys the plastic case on this one. For one, it’s easy to grasp – even when lubricated – because there are some ridges on each side of the handle. For another, it keeps his hand from getting lubricated from the toy itself. For another, the case is one of the reasons that the pressure changing ability can actually work. He’ll be the first to admit, though, that the case is much heavier than actually using your own hand, so you may resort to using both hands or just switching hands a lot more than you usually would.

He did enjoy the texture quite a bit. We’ve tried quite a few Fleshlights, and while Wonder Wave is his favorite, this one easily comes in at second. The nice, tight orifice mixed with the inner texture and varying chambers makes it a pleasure for him to use. He does give one caveat though – this sleeve is extremely pleasurable and will get you really close to the edge really quickly, but for some reason, he has a problem actually getting over the edge with this one. Maybe it’s because it’s so intense for so long, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying the Fleshjack and wanting to use it. He says that, if you are looking for an intense sensation that will always feel amazing when you slide in, he recommends this one. He does say that it doesn’t feel quite like the real thing but says it’s different in it’s own, enjoyable way.

It’s a bit hard to clean a Fleshjack though. You can’t use soap on the material because it will break down. However, you just run some really hot water through the inner tunnel when you’re finished and allow it to sit out to dry. Ours normally sits out for at least 24 hours, but it’s always completely dry when we put it away. Using water-based lubricant is highly recommended – silicone-based won’t go well with this. For storage, you can keep it in the original storage tin or just keep it in the case itself. It’s relatively discreet though I’d imagine that the oddly-large “Flashlight” might make people curious.

I kept buying the boyfriend lots of cheaper masturbators when we first started, and while he liked using them, he really said he didn’t see the point because his hand was better. Since he’s started using the Fleshlight/Fleshjack series, his opinion has changed. He really enjoys using these and says that it provides sensations his hand really can’t provide. He says it’s easily worth the price, feels downright amazing, and is going to add different sensations to your sex life. He especially likes to use the toy between cushions or other supportive ways like that to thrust into it. (And I really like watching.) A Fleshjack or Fleshlight is really a great purchase, and he loves all of his. This adult toy store sells male masturbators, so if you’re interested, look into the Fleshjack “Bottom’s Up” Vortex Masturbator.
