The L’Amour Tripler is a new rabbit premium silicone massager in the CalExotics brand. As you can imagine, the Tripler is made from silicone, is about ten inches tall, and does have a small diameter for a rabbit at about an inch at its widest point. The tip of the shaft is flat, and the clitoral piece includes little feelers intended to provide more pleasure. At the bottom of the sex toy is the plastic base where the controls and battery compartment are located. The bottom battery compartment includes little textured ribs intended to make it easier to grasp the toy.
The packaging is see-through in the front to allow you to see the toy and includes all of the toy’s features on the back. The packaging is really classy, tasteful, and made from a thin kind of plastic. When I did receive the rabbit vibrator in the mail, the package had been squished so much that the outsides are pretty much torn to shreds. I would have liked to store the vibrator in there, but it just won’t happen now. For that reason, I’d recommend that, if you want to store this in the original packaging, you make sure to keep this box on top of other boxes that might be heavier.
This rabbit vibrator functions in the regular rabbit vibrator manner. The shaft ends up rotating while the clitoral piece vibrates. All of this movement is powered by the three AAA batteries concealed in the base of the toy. (Batteries not included.) The base can be a little hard to unscrew, but once you do, the little battery tray will slip right out to allow you to put the three AAA batteries in. When I tried throwing some splashes on the toy, it did hold up to those, but I honestly don’t believe it would hold up to being fully dunked into water.
The vibrations are controlled by the LED-lit buttons at the base. There is a distinct button for power (on/off), and two other buttons – one for the clitoral piece and the other for the shaft. While other rabbits may have some sort of sliding gauges, this rabbit only uses the one button. Pressing it down each time will change the strength. The shaft only comes in the three distinct speeds of rotation (and just the one-way rotation since you can’t change that) and the clitoral piece goes into three strengths of vibration then some vibrating patterns. To turn off the rabbit, you just have to press the power button. Mind you, each button is back-lit with LED lights, so it’s really easy to see the buttons in the dark which is always a plus.
The rabbit is kinda “meh” for me. I really tried to like it, but after I inserted it, the rotation just wasn’t strong enough. Like, at all. As in, it basically made a squeeling noise and stopped. I honestly thought the product had a defect, and I was like “Oh, crap”. But then it started up again for a couple more seconds, then stopped again anytime my muscles would tighten up. So, the rotation was a bust for me – even on the highest rotation setting. The clitoral vibrations were nice and did provide good sensation though. Unfortunately, because of the nice clitoral sensations, the rotation ended up not working. So as a “team”, this vibrator just doesn’t work well together. So, I guess in the battle of vaginal muscles vrs. rabbit vibe, rabbit vibe loses in this match.
However, that’s not to say that it won’t work for you. I’m not sure if I just have really strong muscles or something, but this has become a common problem for me. So if you haven’t had problems with other rabbits doing that, this one probably won’t either. It did feel relatively good when it was rotating, but it was such a fleeting sensation that it was hard to enjoy. I wouldn’t say that it was amazing though – I have other dildos that seem to work better for me personally. Mostly, my mind was like “You have some rotating thing in your crotch” and I giggled at myself. But that’s more of my problem more than the toys.
This is made from silicone, so you should use water-based lubricant with it. It’s pretty splash-proof, so you can just wash it without worrying too much. Washing it with warm water and antibacterial soap seems to work best. Make sure to clean between the little rabbit feelers. For storage, I’m going to be keeping it in a storage case – my box is too tattered. However, if you keep your box away from large objects, it should work for storage.
Overall, this just isn’t the rabbit for me. I’m honestly starting to wonder if there is any type of rabbit that’s for me. It could just be my internal muscles that are causing a problem though. If you don’t have a problem with other rabbits and enjoy rotation, this is a good choice – especially if you prefer smaller-diameter toys. The clitoral piece is definitely nicely strong as well.
