The Fairy Pocket Mini USB is a plastic wand massager. Other sex toys can be larger, but this is a small, hand-held sex toy that measures about five and a half inches. The diameter of the head is slightly smaller than an inch (it measures about the size of my thumb placed on top of the diameter.) The front of the Fairy has a small sliding switch while the back has the MyPleasure logo on it as well as the charging port.

This sex toy comes in neat Japanese packaging. Because of that, there are really no English words on here that makes no sense. For example, this is the “Fairy Pocket Mini for Women’s” according to the box. The box includes a neat, plastic slide out try that holds the massager and the massager’s lanyard while the charger can hide underneath the plastic tray.

Like the product description says, this small wand massager is rechargable through USB. The cord is included in the box, and all you do is plug in the charger to the small port at the bottom-end of the wand then plug the other end into your laptop, computer, or other USB-enabled device like a Playstation 3. (Gaming while charging a vibrator… Hmm….) The vibrator’s base will glow a pretty blue until the vibe has finished charging. Mine took slightly over an hour on the first charge, and no, it does not come pre-charged. When the wand vibrator is finished charging, the light turns off. Something worth mentioning – the base of the vibe can get a little warm while it’s charging, so if you plan on leaving this alone while it charges and leaving the house, make sure it’s near nothing flammable. I didn’t think it was anywhere near hot enough to start a fire, but it’s always better safe than sorry.

The vibrator did take a little over an hour to charge, and according to the packaging, this should now last me about an hour and a half. I’ve used this four times already and haven’t had to re-charge it. Those uses were over the period of two weeks, so it doesn’t look like the Fairy Pocket Mini USB loses the charge very easily. With that charge, the vibrator can be used on a medium or high setting by just moving the switch located in the central area of the toy. I don’t know if you’ve realized this or not, but this toy is just downright small. It easily fits into the palm of my hand. When I first received it, my first reaction was “Awww” – it’s just that small. (Apparently they now make an even smaller version that’s keychain sized. Which is amazing.)

The vibrations, while not Hitachi-strong, are still pretty strong. I’d say that they are about 2/3 to 3/4 as powerful as the Hitachi’s vibrations. It definitely packs an amazing punch for something so small and something rechargeable. The medium setting is easily enough for the majority of women to be able to get off. In fact, I preferred the low setting – the high setting almost seemed a bit too buzzy. The low one seemed like nice, deep surface vibrations like I enjoy. Personally, I have to say that, while I love the small size and ability to use it pretty much whenever I want because of the recharging and small size, I felt like the head of the toy was a bit too small for my preferences. I think I prefer full-vaginal vibrations and having something quite so tiny was a little bit less pleasurable for me.

Something else I noticed that I don’t see in some of my other wand massagers – I love applying pressure. I like applying pressure a lot. It’s the most pleasurable for me. I also enjoy holding the wand’s handle at a comfortable angle – which includes holding the handle up towards my face – not straight up towards my feet. While the head of the Fairy Pocket Mini USB does bend really nice, it also affects the vibrations in a way I wasn’t expecting. When a moderate amount of pressure is placed on the head to make it bend, the vibration strength pretty much cuts in half. Which was pretty frustrating for me. It wasn’t horrible, but it detracted a bit from the comfortable use that I was expecting.

So what about the sound? It’s not horribly quiet, but I wouldn’t call this too loud either. The sound is certainly not distracting, and as long as you have some sort of noise going on in your room, I honestly wouldn’t expect this to cause any suspicion through a closed door. It could easily be heard by someone in the same room or by someone in a quiet room though. The high setting is much louder than the low setting is – the low setting is much quieter.

I suppose the last thing to cover is the wrist strap. Which I’m honestly not sure why it exists. This is a Japanese toy, so maybe the Japanese prefer wrist straps for their toys? (That would explain the Wii remote.) Either way, I haven’t touched the wrist strap to place it onto the toy, but of course, as soon as the boyfriend saw it, that’s the first thing he did – put the wrist strap on the toy. There’s a small little hole at the bottom of the wand massager where the wrist strap just loops through like a cell phone charm. Then Jor placed the wrist strap on his arm and swung the vibe in circles around his wrist like it was some sort of children’s toy. Needless to say, the wrist strap didn’t do well with that and shortly, the plastic piece broke off of it. I’d highly, highly doubt any sort of regular use would break the wrist strap – it’s just the circular motion and weight of the toy that bothered the wrist strap on this one.

Taking care of this small wand massager does take some care. Because the port to charge isn’t protected by anything, if you don’t watch it, the water or soap could get into the toy and ruin it. For this reason, you will want to be careful to keep your soap and water just near the head of the toy where it was used. A slightly damp cloth can be used to clean the body if needed. Since this is plastic, you can choose to use water-based or silicone-based lubricants. For storage, I like to keep my massager in the original box since it’s perfectly shaped for the massager. Since the toy is plastic, it doesn’t pick up lint and doesn’t need any type of special storage.

I really love my Fairy Pocket Mini USB, but I honestly wish it could have a bit more of the deep, strong vibrations like the Hitachi instead of the lighter, buzzy vibrations. I’d even be willing to sacrafice the quiet of the toy to get it. However, I still absolutely love the small size and the portability that makes it really easy to use whereever and whenever I want. The vibrations will easily be enough for the average woman, but I guess I’m a bit greedy. This really is a great, cute toy, and I’d highly recommend that you check out this sex toy store and pick up the Fairy Pocket Mini USB.
