Pink and Black Lace Corset Top Review

Pink and Black Lace Corset Top
Pink and Black Lace Plus-Size Corset Front

This Pink and Black Lace Plus-Size Corset really doesn’t seem to have a product name, so I named it. It’s basically a pink and black corset that features lots of lace and a couple bows. The corset comes in a small all the way up to a 5XL which is amazing for most corsets. This also is extremely inexpensive for a corset, and this is made just as well as the corsets I’ve paid four times this for. This corset features plastic boning and is more affectionately known as a “decorative corset” than a regular corset meant to cinch the waist. The corset is strapless and should cover all of the stomach. It features a tie-closure in the back like a regular corset as well as a hook closure on the left-hand side.

The corset’s top is probably what has the most going on. The cups of the corset do have some underwire in them, but the cups aren’t formed. The inside of the cups has a really, really soft feeling fabric in it. Don’t ask me what it is. This will easily give you the amount of support you will need to wear this with confidence. In between the two cups is a little pink bow made from satin. It’s adorable. Lining the top of your corset, you will find rows of cute, pink lace, rows of black and pink lace, and at the very top, a lining of black lace that sticks up from the corset as an accent. The lace really doesn’t interfere with wearing the garment, but it does look really sexy.

The body of the corset is really cute as well. Every place where there’s the pink color is where the plastic boning is. Because it’s plastic, this corset really won’t shape your body, but it will look cute. On the left-hand side, there is hook closures all the way the length of the corset. They are really easy to get into place, but unless you put pressure on both sides, it won’t come undone which is nice. The backside has a corset lace-up with some pink, satin ribbon. It looks really cute. There is no black fabric panel, so once it is laced up, the viewer will be seeing bare skin. I recommend having a partner help you do the lacing on the back the first time you wear this. We made it go to the loosest ribbon, then we fastened the hooks, then he went to lacing it up. It seems to work best with us, and then you can put the hooks on yourself in the future and just have to tighten it up a bit.

The bottom of this corset has some gorgeous design. On each side, where you’d expect a garter belt strap to be (center of the front of your thighs), is going to be a cute little pink bow. Smaller than the bow on the top but still downright adorable. While this doesn’t have any holes for garters, you could use a garten belt with this and it’d look gorgeous with some fishnets. The bottom edge honestly follows the same pink, black/pink, and black lacing pattern that the top of the corset does, and it looks gorgeous for it.

Circumference of corset: 46″ – 54″ depending on lacing and stretch
Length of corset from underarm to bottom: 15″

You know what really rocks about this corset set? The fact that it doesn’t come with a thong. Seriously – it doesn’t. I think 90% of all lingerie sets come with a thong, but this one actually comes with a nice, full hipster brief. It’s see-through and made of a mess along with some elastic, so it’s extremely comfortable and extremely breathable. It does have a crotch fabric liner, but honestly, the fabric that lines it is pretty thin as well, so I don’t know if I’d recommend wearing these with clothing where wetness could easily be visible. The panties have a cute little tag that claims “5XL” on the panties. These panties didn’t cut into the skin and were quite comfy to wear. I’d compare them to a pair of panties I bought at Lane Bryant for like $6 except these were most likely cheaper. I’m really fond of them though I don’t usually wear them out of the house.

Circumference of panties around waistband: 28″ w/o stretch, up to 44″ with stretch
Length of crotch liner fabric: 3″

Well, I’m really sad to report that this didn’t fit me. I actually have a 5XL from them, and the corset doesn’t fit. That makes me sad. It also confuses me. I think their sizing must run a bit small, because I wear 4XL in everything else, so to have a 5XL not fit me was confusing. I weigh about 290 pounds, have a 50″ waist, and 60″ hips, and usually wear a size 26 or 28. Just so you can compare my sizing to your own. It fit me perfectly up top, but when it came to my hips, this corset was barely a no-go which made me really sad because it’s such a gorgeous corset. I’m keeping it around to hopefully wear if I ever end up losing weight. (I spend way too much money buying new clothes for sizes when I gain/lose weight.) On a random note, the panties actually fit, and I love wearing them around because they’re stretchy and comfy.

This would work best for people who are looking for something to accentuage their breasts and hide their midsection. Because of the underwire, this will support the breasts nicely and put them on display. The black and pink will distract the viewer from the pretty-plain midsection and keep their attention from any tummy you may have. As long as you have relatively large breasts (B, C, or D cup), your breasts will easily fill the cup given and if you are on the larger end, it will actually spill over a bit. I doubt this has enough “Cup” room to honestly use this for a DD cup, but if you wanted to, you could probably do some modifications and use this as a cup-less corset if need be. Really, though, because of the detailing on the top and on the bottom, the midsection gets skipped over, the breasts get accentuated, and the hips get noticed giving you the appearance of “sexy” hips. (Small waist, large hips)

I can’t recommend this corset enough – and I couldn’t even wear the thing! It’s well made, and if you are looking for a decorative corset, it’s really, really hard to find them this cute in plus-size, and it’s impossible to find them at this price. Less than $30 and free shipping? You’d be insane not to purchase this if you have been looking for a corset. This sex toy store has the perfect prices, so check out their corsets as well as this Pink and Black Lace Corset Top. I also recommend you check out their glass toy selection since it’s amazingly priced as well.
